Shockwave 11/22/25 (Now complete)

Post by Prez Mike »

(The EMF logo flashes on the screen.)

(We open up to the darken arena as pyrotechnics blasts on the stage, the fireworks end. The light turn on, and fans yell and wave their signs. The camera gets a few shots of the crowd. The camera zooms out to display the location information screen. We get one last shot as the commentators speak over the shot.)

JR-Welcome to Saturday Shockwave, I'm good ol' JR, JIm Ross. I'm joined by Jerry "the King" Lawler, and Kris "KG" Gaffney.

King-Tonight superstars will face off in a match to determine a title shot against the world champion.

Kris Gaffney-More than one.

JR-Let's get started with the first match of the night.

The arena dims into an imposing silence, the crowd's murmurs fading into a tense hush. Suddenly, the ominous guitar riffs of "Jambi" by Tool begin to thunder through the speakers, echoing the arrival of a true force. A single, focused beam of light cuts through the darkness, pointing to the entrance ramp where Maximus Steele stands, his silhouette formidable and resolute.

The titantron flashes a montage of Maximus’s most strategic and dominating moments in the ring—his calculated moves, his victories, his leadership—all underpinned by the pulsating rhythm of the song. Maximus begins his walk, his demeanor cool and collected, his eyes locked forward, exuding a natural air of authority that commands respect.

As he strides down the ramp, the lighting subtly shifts to highlight his path, creating a visual effect that suggests he's not just walking to the ring, but advancing to conquer. Fans reach out, trying to touch the leader of the Steele Dynasty, as he occasionally acknowledges them with a nod or a brief touch, never breaking his intense focus.

**Reaching the ring, Maximus pauses at the apron, surveys the arena with a tactical eye, then climbs the steps decisively. He enters through the ropes, standing center ring for a moment to soak in the charged atmosphere. He then climbs a turnbuckle, raising his arms to assert his dominance, as if staking claim to his territory. His music fades, but the aura of imminent battle lingers, his presence alone

JR-Maximus Steele abilities are very impressive.

King-I’m certain he’ll look to get back on right path tonight.

Kris Gaffney-However, he’ll be facing someone who is looking to make an impact also.

(“Jasper Ace theme” blasts on the PA system. Jasper Ace walks out on the stage, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR – This is Jasper Ace’s second match

King-He was impressive in the first, let’s see what happens here.

Kris Gaffney-As things build, it only gets harder, but it’ll only make him better if

[Maximus Steele and Jasper Ace pace around the ring, they lock up. Jasper Ace hooks him with a side head lock that holds the pressure.Maximus Steele looks for a way out for the hold. Maximus Steele backs up Jasper Ace to the ropes. Maximus Steele whips Jasper Ace to the ropes. Jasper Ace connects with a shoulder block that puts down Maximus Steele that puts him down on the mat. Maximus Steele gets up to his feet, and once he runs at Jasper Ace. Jasper Ace connects with a hip toss into a neck breaker. Jasper Ace connects with a few stomps on the downed Maximus Steele. Maximus Steele gets hit, and at some point the ref makes Jasper Ace get back, and Maximus Steele gets picked up by Jasper Ace, and he connects with a running power slam. Jasper Ace goes into the cover on Maximus Steele. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1……………2……….KICK OUT by Maximus Steele!!]

JR-Jasper Ace was able to almost get Maximus Steele to stay down for 3.

King-Although, that can be an illusion.

Kris Gaffney-Wrestlers do like to be dramatic, and get as much rest as possible. Although, then there are those who’s timing sucks.

King-Like you.

[Jasper Ace picks up Maximus Steele, Maximus Steele rakes the eyes. Jasper Ace is blinded. Maximus Steele runs otwards the ropes, and he bounces off of the ropes, and he connects with a spear on Jasper Ace. Maximus Steele picks up Jasper Ace, and he sets him up, and he runs towards the corner, and he connects with a buckle bomb on Jasper Ace!!]

JR-Maximus Steele has made a come back here.

King-We will see how Jasper Ace reacts to the tables being turned.

[Maximus Steele waits as Jasper Ace stumbles towards him, and Maximus tries to pick up Jasper Ace, but Ace slides out of the back, and Jasper Ace kicks Maximus Steele in the gut, and then he lifts up Maximus, the ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1…………2……….3!!]

JR-Jasper Ace gets the victory in his debut match.

(“Game On” blasts on the PA system. Tony Ikeda walks out on the stage, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Tony Ikeda is looking to get into the world title picture.

Kris Gaffney-He’s going to have to go through both the world champion and the IC champion

King-And the world champion is a man who’s already better than everyone else.

[The arena dims, setting the stage for a dramatic entrance. The opening notes of "KICK BACK" by Kenshi Yonezu fill the space, its energetic and upbeat rhythm instantly gripping the audience. The titantron comes alive with vibrant animations reminiscent of action-packed anime sequences.]

Announcer: "Making his way
to the ring, from London, England, weighing in at 275 pounds, he is 'The Samurai Otaku'... Mansa Carthage!"

[As the music swells, the lights pulse in sync with the beat, casting bright, dynamic colors across the stage. Mansa Carthage bursts onto the scene with an exuberant energy, wearing a fusion of samurai-inspired attire and modern streetwear, complete with symbolic touches from his favorite animes.]

[Mansa moves with a playful yet confident swagger, embodying the larger-than-life characters he admires. He performs exaggerated, anime-style poses and martial arts moves, engaging the crowd and drawing them into his world of fantasy and excitement.]

[As he makes his way down the ramp, the titantron displays iconic scenes from various animes, interspersed with clips of Mansa's own in-ring highlights, showcasing his agility and strength.]

[Upon reaching the ring, Mansa leaps onto the apron with a flourish, pausing to strike a dramatic samurai pose, complete with a mock sword drawing gesture. He then flips over the top rope with acrobatic ease, landing in a superhero landing pose that sends the crowd into a frenzy.]

[With the music reaching its climax, Mansa bounds to each corner of the ring, energetically engaging with the fans, showing off his charismatic and playful side. He then centers himself, closing his eyes for a moment as if channeling the spirit of both anime heroes and samurai warriors, preparing himself mentally and physically for the battle ahead.]

[As the song fades, Mansa opens his eyes, poses, and now focused and ready, his playful demeanor giving way to the serious, disciplined side of a warrior ready for combat.]

JR-The IC champion has had quite the 2025.

King-Too bad he has to finish it off against Azar.

Kris Gaffney-Although he could just beat Tony.

King-Somehow someone doesn’t think it works like that.

[I’m better than you and you know it” Is said over the loud speakers right before Lamb Of God- “Overlord” hits. The crowd erupts in boos as the lighting begins to flash green and gold. The ramp fills with images of money as Azar Vulcan steps out from the back with a smug grin on his face. He stops atop of the ramp laughing at the fans.]

Announcer: Ladies and gentleman, making his way to the ring, weighing in at 215 pounds and standing 5’11”. He is The EMF World Heavyweight Champion, The Best In The World, Azar “Mastermind” Vulcan!

JR-Azar Vulcan in this situation wouldn’t normally be in a good situation, but he does have the chance to at least narrow the field of his competitors.

King-Shut up JR

[Azar Vulcan, Mansa Carthage, and Tony Ikeda wait for the bell. The bell rings, and Azar Vulcan goes for the Money Maker on Tony Ikeda. Tony Ikeda ducks under, and he pushes Azar Vulcan forward. Mansa Carthage connects with a super man punch on Azar Vulcan. Tony Ikeda seeing a chance to attempt to get the match into his control runs at Mansa Carthage, but Mansa Carthage hits a back body drop that sends Tony Ikeda flying over the top rope. Azar Vulcan is slow to get up to his feet, and Mansa Carthage see’s a chance to end this match quickly, and he grabs him around the throat, and he lifts him up, and he connects with a double handled sit down choke bomb into a pin on Azar Vulcan. The ref goes into position to make the count, the ref counts 1…………2……….KICK OUT by Azar Vulcan!!]

JR-Azar Vulcan was able to kick out.

Kris Gaffney-Early pin, but Azar Vulcan was hit with some big moves.

King-Or he allowed it…you know…because he’s so much better than everyone else.

[Mansa Carthage waits for Azar Vulcan and he gets up to his feet. Azar Vulcan gets picked up, but Azar Vulcan is able to struggle out of the back, and Azar Vulcan pushes Mansa Carthage forward, and he hits into Tony Ikeda who was on the apron. Tony Ikeda goes flying off of the apron. Azar Vulcan kicks Mansa Carthage in the gut, and he sets up Mansa Carthage, and he lifts him up, and he connects with a brain buster. Azar Vulcan gets up to his feet, and he runs towards the ropes, and he spring boards, and he connects with a spring board moonsault. Azar Vulcan goes into the cover on Mansa Carthage, the ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1……….2………..KICK OUT by Mansa Carthage. Azar Vulcan takes this time to rest up.]

JR-Azar Vulcan was able to make a come back here.

King-Told you, that’s how shows everyone he’s so much better than them.

Kris Gaffney-I’m sure they appreciate it.

[Azar Vulcan gets up to his feet, but still feeling the effects of the early match, and Tony Ikeda sets him up, and he connects with a full nelson slam that sends Azar Vulcan on the mat. Tony Ikeda is able to take a few moment to measure up on Mansa Carthage who is slow to get up in the corner, and he runs at the corner, and he runs, jumps, but Mansa Carthage moves out of the way. Mansa Carthage runs at Tony Ikeda, Tony Ikeda is able to counter with a drop toe hold that sends Mansa Carthage flying into the top rope. Tony Ikeda waits as Mansa Carthage stumbles backwards, and Tony Ikeda connects with a reverse DDT into the mat. Tony Ikeda hits a few stomps on the downed Mansa Carthage, and then seeing he has a chance calls for the end of the match.]

JR-Mansa Carthage might be in trouble here.

King-Guess you don’t want to get Tony into a survival contest….that’s what he does best.

Kris Gaffney-Because he’s old, HA!

[Tony Ikeda waits for Mansa Carthage to get up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet. He goes for the Full nelson suplex, but Mansa Carthage connects with a few elbows to the side of the head to break up the attempt. Mansa Carthage is able to grab a hold of Tony Ikeda lifting him for the Dragon’s Descend, but at the last moment Tony Ikeda is able to shift his weight hooks a full nelson, and drops Mansa Carthage with another full nelson slam!! Mansa Carthage rolls out of the ring. Azar Vulcan sneaks up on Tony Ikeda, and Azar Vulcan rolls up Tony Ikeda with a school boy pinning combination. The ref goes into position to make the count, the ref counts 1………..2………..3!!]

JR-Azar Vulcan slips in the back door, and finds his spot based off Tony Ikeda’s work.

King-No, that’s just Azar’s superior spot picking ability, it comes with being better than you.

(We come back from commercial as the ring is filled up with all the competitors for the ladder match.)

JR-We are back with the main event.

King-If we were in a rush this match would be convenient…a little TOO convenient.

Kris Gaffney-Shut up King.

[The wrestlers look up as the brief case hangs over with a contract. The bell rings, the wrestlers start to brawl. Everyone spills out of the ring except Jack Lynch and Zack Ryder. Zack Ryder seems to getting the advantage, Jack Lynch responds with a head butt, Zack Ryder stumbles backwards. Jack Lynch tries to whip him to the ropes, but it’s reversed by Zack Ryder. Jack Lynch bounces off of the ropes, Zack Ryder goes for a clothesline, but it’s ducked under by Jack Lynch, Zack Ryder gets dropped with a Pandemonium Kick. Walter Melon tries to whip Ziggy Thickness to the ring steps, but it’s reversed by Ziggy Thickness. Walter Melon crashes on the steps shoulder first. Walter Melon stumbles up, and Ziggy Thickness hits a kick to the gut, and he plants down on the mat with a DDT.]

JR-Ziggy Thickness making an impact.

King-Well…maybe he might be in the Maledictum after all standing up to GOD!

Kris Gaffney-I have my doubts.

[Travis Vortex connects with a hip toss on the Wretched Nobody. The Wretched Nobody gets up, and Travis Vortex climbs up on the apron, and he connects with an elevated time twist. Malik Voss has Jey Uso set up, and he connects with the Catalyst right through a table. Malik Voss goes to get a ladder, and he brings it to ring side but out of no where Walter Melon connects with the spitting seeds dropping Malek Voss. Walter Melon grabs the ladder, and he brings it into the ring. Walter Melon climbs up Joey Bellarosa stops him with connecting with clubbing blows, and he connects with a cruix bomb off of the top rope, and Travis Vortex attempts to remove him to attempt to get up the ladder himself, but Joey Bellarosa connects with a mafia kick that drops Travis Vortex.]

JR-Walter Melon attempted to go up the ladder, but it didn’t’ work out.

King-Only didn’t work out because he knows the Melon Gods could get it down for him.

Kris Gaffney-Guess they want to be dramatic again…

[Joey Bellarosa watches as Travis Vortex rolls out of the ring, and he turns around and Raganar Ayerswindale connects with the gunginar spear on Travis Vortex. Ragnar sets up Travis, but the Wretched Nobody connects with the trephination. Jey Uso comes in, and he connects with a super kick that knocks the Wretched Nobody backwards. Jey Uso runs at the Wretched Nobody and he connects with a clothesline that takes him, and the Wretched Nobody out of the ring.]

JR-It’s anyone’s ball game here.

King-I think that’s where this was all leading.

Kris Gaffney-Probably.

[Ziggy Thickness climbs up to the ladder, and he seems like he’s moments away from getting the brief case, suddenly the ladder gets taken out from under him, and he’s hanging by the brief case. The Wretched Nobody has the ladder, and he uses his insane strength to hurl the enter ladder in the air which connects with Ziggy. Ziggy falls off of the ring…..but the brief case comes off the ring with him due to the force landing on the ground in Ziggy’s arms. ZIGGY THICKNESS WINS!!]

King-What just happened JR?

JR-Well if there is one night for the underdog it will be at the 20th annual Latino Heat.

Kris Gaffney-Does this mean he’s facing his own stable?

King-Probably not…

(Ziggy Thickness is just realizing the brief case in his hands as Shockwave goes off the air.)
