(Copyright information flashes on the screen. We open up to a highlight video of the rise of Daniel Bryan. We see a few clips of the world championship feud between Wretch and Bryan. A introduction screen welcomes us to Whiplash 2020. The lights are turned off in the arena. Pyrtotechics rain down on the stage crashing. The lights turn on, and fans yell, and wave their signs. The camera gets a few shots of the crowd before it zooms out to disaplay the location information. The camera gets one shot of the crowd as the commentators begin to speak.)

JR-Welcome to the 2020 edition of Whiplash. I’m good ol’ JR, Jim Ross. I’m joined by Jerry “The King” Lawler, and Kris “KG” Gaffney. King here we are at Whiplash, tonight we have a great show lined up.

King-Tonight the Wretched Nobody attempts to avenge his loss a few weeks ago, but this time if he doesn’t win, he’ll lose the championship.

Kris Gaffney-That only one of the many title matches that are on the line tonight.

JR-Let’s get started tonight with the opening match of the night.

(“Game On” blasts on the PA system. Tony Ikeda walks out on the stage, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Tony Ikeda is a the wrestler with the most experience in this match.

Kris Gaffney-That’s not hard.

King-This is Baddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd Boy!

The lights in the arena turn off and the crackling of Public Service Announcement (James Digital Remix) by Jay Z plays over the PA system. The lyrics ‘Allow me to reintroduce myself…’echo through the arena and the words ‘ROLE MODEL’ appear on the big screen. The song reaches its peak and the stage becomes lit with an array of flashing lights in various colours as James Digital walks out onto the stage from behind the curtain. The cocky heel stops in the middle of the stage to show off his chiselled physique to the camera much to the dismay of the crowd. He proceeds to take a few steps down the ramp towards the ring before pausing again and holding out both arms to his sides. Simultaneously, bright white pyro lights up across the entire stage. When the pyro has calmed down, The Role Model continues to the ring taking time to exchange pleasantries with those fans most worked up by his presence. He uses the stairs and walks slowly along the ring apron looking out at the crowd while gesturing with his hand toward his abs and smiling with self approval. The Role Model confidently enters the ring under the top rope as the ring announcer reads off his vital information; “Fighting out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Standing 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing in at 247 lbs - The Role Model James Digital!”. He walks to the corner and climbs to the second turnbuckle and once again shows off his signature pose and takes a few extra moments to identify a beautiful woman in the crowd to blow a kiss.

JR-James Digital is looking to gain his first shot.

King-He had quite the feud with Alvin Jackson.

Kris Gaffney-Maybe he should challenge him, and the Goon Squad to a baseketball game.

(“Syd Khatru’s theme” blasts on the PA system. Syd Khatru walks out on the stage, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Syd Khatru was able to break out of a funk last week.

Kris Gaffney- Let’s see if he can continue that trend.

[James Digital waits for the bell. The bell rings, and he runs towards Tony Ikeda. Tony Ikeda ducks under, and he hits a few knife edge chops to the chest. Tony Ikeda stumbles backwards. James Digital tries to whip him to the ropes, he bounces off of the ropes. James Digital hits a back elbow to the fact that puts him down on the mat. James Digital picks him up by his hair, and he hooks him into a vertical suplex, and he connects with a snap suplex.]

JR- So far, James Digital has been able to keep it one on one.

King-That’s the type of thing that you want to do in this sort of situation.

Kris Gaffney-Can it last?

King-Doubt it.

[James Digital looks to continue the fight, but he see’s that Tony Ikeda is getting up on the apron. Tony Ikeda gets hit with a hard fist to the face that knocks down Tony Ikeda. Syd Khatru connects with a leg lariat that puts him down on the mat. Khatru hits a few stomps on the downed James Digital.]

JR-Syd Khatru might be getting close to a victory.

King-Like that victory guy?

Kris Gaffney-Nothing like that guy.

[Syd hooks him for the tiger driver, but before he can hit it Tony Ikeda comes up from behind Syd, and he hooks him. He drops him with a full nelson slam! Tony Ikeda goes into the cover on Syd. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1…………….2………..James Digital breaks up the count. James Digital picks up Tony Ikeda, and he whips him to the ropes. James Digital lowers his head, and Tony Ikeda is able to counter this with a swinging neck breaker that puts down James Digital. Tony Ikeda gets up, and he connects with a few mounted fists to the face of the downed James Digital.]

JR-Tony Ikeda has to watch out for closed fists.

King-Since when was that an issue?

Kris Gaffney-Never…even when it isn’t a hardcore match like it is now.

[Tony Ikeda picks up James Digital and he puts him into a full nelson. He counters with a snapmare. This sends Tony Ikeda flying. Tony gets up, and James Digital hits a running clothesline over the top rope. James Digital turns around into a kick into the gut. Syd Khatru hooks him, and he drops him with a Tiger Driver 91’. Syd goes into the cover on James Digital. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1…………..2………3!!]

King-Facing the Wretched Nobody must have taken out of him.

Kris Gaffney-I guess so.

(“Gods gonna cut you down” blasts on the PA system. Max Gunner walks out on the stage, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-The new TV champion is fighting for the chance to keep his match a one on one.

King-Some say a triple threat is just a state of mind.

Kris Gaffney-Until you lose without getting pinned.

(The bell sounds and Max Gunner and Zack Ryder step to the middle of the ring. Each man is yelling at the other and they then lock up. Max gets Zack into a side headlock and Zack backs him up to the ropes. Zack shoots Max off and hits him with an arm drag. Max gets up and Zack drops him with another arm drag. Max gets up again and this time Zack takes him down with a drop kick. He looks to go for an early cover but Max Gunner rolls out of the ring to catch his breath. Zack looks to get the drop on him and slips out of the ring and charges at him. Max sees this and side steps and pushes Ryder right into the ring post.)

JR: My god. Zack Ryder’s momentum took him straight into the ring post.

King: Yeah. Gotta be smarter than that!

(Gunner begins stomping on Ryder before lifting him up and throwing him into the ring steps. Ryder hits hard and Gunner instantly lifts him up and rolls him into the ring. Instead of going for a cover he runs to the ropes and drops an elbow into Zack’s heart. He covers 1...2...kickout! Gunner begins unloading lefts and rights into Zack’s head before the referee separates them.)

King: C’mon JR! Why’s the referee gotta ruin all the fun?

JR: It seems like Gunner was getting carried away here.

(As the referee goes to check on Zack Ryder, Gunner pushes the ref aside and looks to continue his onslaught. Zack surprises him with a small package 1...2...Kickout! Gunner looks pissed. He charges at Ryder who catches him with a few right hands. Zack ducks a wild right before kicking Gunner in the gut and whips Max into the corner. Gunner slaps the mat in frustration. He then lifts Ryder to his feet and sets him up for a brain buster. Ryder drops a knee to the skull of Gunner and drops behind him. He pushes him into the ropes and the two take each other down with a double clothesline.)

JR: Both men are down! Who will take advantage?

Kris Gaffney-Would you hate me if I said the first one who gets up?

King-Yes…

Kris Gaffney-Then that.

[Zack Ryder gets up to his feet with the help of the ropes. Max Gunner realizes he has gotten a little bit behind. Zack Ryder runs at Max Gunner, but Zack Ryder counters with a hot shot that sends him flying into the top rope. Max Gunner stumbles backwards. He turns around. Zack Ryder jumps in the air, and he goes for the Rough Ryder. But Max Gunner catches him. Max Gunner connects with the Crispy Bomb!! Max Gunner goes into the cover on Zack Ryder. JR-Zack Ryder thought he had an opening, but Gunner used that against him.

King-He sure did.

(“Killer Queen” blasts on the PA system. Madison Rayne walks out on the stage waving like a Queen. She steps inside of the ring.)

JR- It’s been a while since we seen Madison.

King-I’m surprised that TNA didn’t sign her.

Kris Gaffney-In the moment that you said that, they probably did….they love to take back their scraps.

(“All grown up” blasts on the PA system. Stephanie McMahon-Walker walks out on the stage, and she steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Stephanie has been managing the Glorious Era down with the BWO.

King-Maybe Stephanie needs to pay, because she’s the mother of a princess without being a queen.

(Stephanie is getting up, suddenly a woman jumps in the ring, and takes Stephanie down with a double leg take down. She hammers away on Stephanie. She lifts up Stephanie on her shoulders, and drops her down with a death valley driver. The crowd boo’s. The woman stands over Stephanie, before getting pushed to the back.)

Jackson walks out and suddenly halts his confident stride. He takes in the atmosphere briefly, then—after shuffling around a bit—he leaps into the air and a large, but brief, explosion of pyro hits. Jackson climbs the outside second rope to raise his one finger in the air. He then climbs the opposite turnbuckle on the inside of the ring and performs his signature double chest pound where he hits his chest with both fists at the same time.

JR-Alvin Jackson continues to watch his back.

King-Are we certain Ellen wasn’t actually Mike Adamle?

Kris Gaffney-Should have asked her whether it’s SummerSlam or SummerFest.

(“X is gonna give it to you” blasts on the PA system. Wade Wilson walks out to the ring in slow motion. He steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Last month Wade Wilson was able to regain the extreme championship from Daniel Bryan.

Kris Gaffney-Feel there is only one thing missing…

(“That’s entertainment” blasts on the PA system. Logan Riley walks out on the stage, and he steps inside of the ring.)

("Angel on My Shoulder" plays over the PA System and out comes Laura Cena and Velvet Sky. They perform a version of the BP entance despite the fact the group kicked out Velvet Sky some weeks ago.)

JR: Well.... I guess tonight, Velvet gets to pretend she's still in the BP?

King: Most of the group turned their back on her.... but Laura sticks around because she views Velvet as her Mother...

Kris: Are you sure it's not just her gravitational pull?

("LovePassionFuryEnergy" plays next and out comes Amy Dumas.)

JR: This is an interesting situation for Amy.... she's engaged to marry John Cena... but she must have concerns if Laura doesn't want to accept that.

King: My understanding is that Laura doesn't dislike Amy... she just wishes things had worked out between Velvet and her Dad....

Kris: Would be a tough call for Cena.... do you think Velvet's food bill is higher than Ashley's bra bill?

(Suddenly the lights go out in the arena and a familiar voice over begins as "I am The Fire" plays over the PA System.)

JR: Well Rachel can't be too happy about having to defend the belt in a tag match....

King: To be clear, only Rachel or Laura can walk out with the title.... not Amy or Velvet.

Kris: All Cena's would hate having to rely on a tag match though...

(The two teams discuss who should start out. Laura decides to start for her team, maybe because Velvet needs a rest from the entrance. This prompts Rachel to start for her team and the bell rings. Laura and Rachel circle the ring a few times, both daring the other to make the first move. Eventually, Laura charges at Rachel and goes to throw a punch but Rachel ducks out of the way and then returns fire. Rachel unloads on her sister and then whips her into the ropes. Laura comes back off the ropes and Rachel looks for a spinebuster, but Laura has it scouted and sidesteps her, before kicking Rachel in the head as she had bent down for the move. Rachel stumbles back and Laura wastes no time planting her with a SPEAR! She hooks the leg but Rachel doesn't even stay down for one and leaps up to her feet. She unloads on Laura again and then kicks her in the midsection and plants her down with a DDT. Rachel stomps away on her and then goes over and tags in Amy Dumas, which draws cheers from the crowd. Amy steps into the ring and Laura springs to her feet and the two come face to face. The crowd cheer loudly, wanting to see these two come to blows, but Laura shakes her head, and goes over and tags in Velvet Sky.)

JR: I guess Laura wasn't mentally ready to take on Amy....

King: Probably best for both of them....

Kris: It's not best for Velvet though... she was enjoying that well deserved rest!

(Velvet steps into the ring and runs at Amy and goes for a clothesline but it's too slow and Amy ducks out of the way and then gets behind Velvet and rolls her up for 1....... 2....... kick out! Amy goes flying a bit further than she expected and ends up right near Laura's corner. Laura hits a cheap shot on her and Amy stumbles back to where Velvet is waiting and Velvet suplexes her down. Velvet runs and hits a leg drop on Amy. She drops into the cover for 1...... 2...... Amy kicks out! Amy jumps to her feet and looks annoyed. She kicks Velvet in the midsection and postions her for the Whiplash DDT but Velvet elbows her way out of it. She hurls Amy hard into the turnbuckle and Amy falls to a seated position, but Rachel stole a blind tag. Velvet shrugs and taunts like she's going to hit a stink face on Amy, hitching up her shorts, before Rachel grabs her and suplexes her down hard. Rachel waits for Velvet to stumble up, then kicks her in the midsection, and plants her down with the Get Bent! She hooks the leg for 1..... 2..... kick out!)

JR: A well timed blind tag has turned this match....

King: And saved Amy from getting up close and personal with the best ass John Cena ever had...

Kris: Do you think even Velvet believes that right now?

(Rachel stands over Velvet and taunts for the Bastardisation. Velvet pulls herself up but before Rachel can execute the move, Laura jumps into the ring and starts trading punches with Rachel again. Rachel fights her off as Velvet recovers. Rachel eventually throws Laura out of the ring but Velvet is now positioned behind her and nails the Beauty Mark! Velvet drops into the cover for 1...... 2...... kick out by Rachel! Velvet can't believe it and screams at the referee. She gets up in the referee's face and continues yelling. Rachel uses the opening to tag in Amy. Velvet turns around and Amy is waiting, kicks her in the midsection and plants her with the Whiplash DDT! Amy climbs to the top rope.... but as she does, she spots Kelly Kelly, Lana and Stacy Hancock running down the ramp. Kelly jumps onto the apron and the referee goes to remove her. Amy jumps down and throws a shot at Stacy but can do nothing to stop Lana spraying her in the eyes with something. Amy stumbles back blinded and Velvet, who has just about recovered, plants her down with the Beauty Mark! Stacy and Lana have moved on to Rachel and are now seen pulling her off the apron and Stacy hits her over the head with the ugly stick! Velvet has regrouped but Amy is stirring, but seemingly still blinded. Velvet helps her up, and plants her with a second Beauty Mark! She is about to drop into the cover when she is hit with a SPEAR from Laura Cena! Velvet rolls and is trying to get to her feet when you hear Laura shout "YOU'RE NOT MY MOTHER!" and she hoists her up and drops her with the Royally Screwed! She helps Amy clear whatever is still in her eyes, and Amy this time is able to get to the top rope, and hit the Lita-sault! She hooks the leg for 1...... 2...... 3!)

JR: I don't know what set Laura off.... but she seems to have had a change of heart....

King: It's probably because Velvet isn't as beautiful as she once was....

Kris: I like to think it's more than that....

(Rachel has finally fought off the attack and slides into the ring, looking confused. Laura raises Amy's hand and hugs her, and Rachel nods in acknowledgement, seemingly happy that Laura finally figured out what she already knew.... that Amy has been there for them both more than any other mother figure. Laura then stands face to face with her sister, and points at the championship which is over Rachel's shoulder. You can hear Laura saying she didn't want to win it that way... she wants to win it properly. Rachel just nods, and then the lights go out. When they come back on, Rachel has vanished. Laura and Amy head backstage together, with Velvet looking devastated in the ring.)

(“Ultimate Countdown” blasts on the PA system. Daniel Bryan walks out on the stage. He nods to the crowd, and he does the “Yes” taunts down to the ring. He steps inside of the ring.)
