EMF: Shockwave

(The EMF logo flashes on the screen.)

(Once the introduction video has ended, we go into the arena hosting Saturday Shockwave this week. The arena lights are completely off. The only lights are coming from pyrotechnics coming down from the top of the stage, and hitting the stage with a loud crash. The lights turn on, fans are yeling, and waving their signs. The camera sweeps around the crowd. Finally the commentators begin to speak.)

JR-Tonight the EMF comes to you live from Enterprise Center in St. Louis Missouri. Welcome to Saturday Shockwave, tonight we have quite the card. I’m good ol’ JR along side Jerry “the King” Lawler, and Kris “KG” Gaffney. King, the team of Off Consistently has been looking to bounce back after their loss in Ikeda tournament. Tonight they have a chance to get a EMF tag team title shots.

King-All they need to do is beat the current champions.

Kris Gaffney-Oh…is that all…no problem right.

King-Sarcasm doesn’t show up in text.

Kris Gaffney-Good thing were not in text.

King-Yeah, that would suck…

JR-Anyways, let’s get this show started with the first contest of the evening.

(“Radio” blasts on the PA system. Zack Ryder walks out on the stage, and he poses on the stage. He pulls out his webcamera as he films himself going down to the ring, he enters the ring.)

King-I so want to see his film archive…just think of how much footage he must have of himself walking down to the ring.

Kris Gaffney-He could just delete it.

King-Maybe…

JR-The Badd Bros have a long feud with the Melon Club.

King-They hate fruit…despite one of them owning a store that deals with fruit.

(“The Duck Song” blasts on the PA system. Shinseke walks out on the stage with Paul Heymango. Suddenly some of the crowd runs away yelling “AW he needs fruit”. He walks to the ring, and enters the ring)

King-That’s something that’s never going away, is it.

Kris Gaffney- Probably not anytime soon…sure there are worst things.

King-That’s true…ask Dewey Pond.

JR-Shinseke is one half of the tag team champions, he has got to know that beating Ryder is a priority as letting him win here might allow the Badd Bros to at least be mention in the tag team title picture.

[The crowd chants “lets go Ryder! Woo! Woo! Woo!” This confusions Shinseke Nakamango. He goes for a kick to the head of Ryder. Ryder ducks under. He comes off of the ropes, and he hits a running clothesline that knocks him down on the mat. Zack Ryder waits as Nakamango gets up to his feet. He kicks Nakamango in the gut, he grabs his arms, and he sends him to the roeps with an irish whip. Shinseke bounces off of the ropes. Zack Ryder jumps in the air, and he connects with a drop kick that knocks him backwards, and he falls through the middle ropes, and to the outside. Shinseke falls down on the mat. He hits the mat in frustration. He slowly rises up to his feet. But what he doesn’t notice is that Zack Ryder has gone to the ropes, he uses the ropes to sling shot himself over the top rope, and he connects with a sling shot cross body block. This takes down Shinseke Nakamango. Zack Ryder grabs him by the hair, and he lifts him up as he gets up to his feet himself. He throws him into the ring under the bottom rope. Zack Ryder climbs up to the apron, and he climbs up to the top rope. He waits for Shinseke Nakamango to get up to his feet. He turns around, and Zack Ryder leaps off of the top rope, and he connects with a missile drop kick that puts down Shinseke. Zack Ryder quickly goes into the cover on Shinseke Nakamango. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1…………..2……KICK OUT by Shinseke Nakamango. Zack Ryder doesn’t argue instead he waits for Shinseke to make his next move.]

JR-Shinseke was able to kick out!

King-I think he needs fruit.

Kris Gaffney-Fruit is always the answer!

[Shinseke pulls himself up in the corner, and Zack Ryder runs towards him. Shinseke counters with a back elbow causing some separation. Zack Ryder stumbles backwards, he can’t recover in time before he gets knocked down with a thurst kick that puts him down on the mat. Shinseke Nakamango takes a few moments to rest up, Zack Ryder is slow to get up to his feet. Shinseke Nakamango hits a spin kick to the gut that doubles over Zack Ryder. Shinseke Nakamango hooks Zack Ryder, and drops him down with a Russian leg sweep!]

JR-Shinseke puts down Zack Ryder.

King-I would tell Ryder he needs to not lose to fruit…but fruit is pretty great.

Kris Gaffney-It’s a truth we should have known from the start.

[Zack Ryder is slow to get up to his feet, Shinseke backs up, he goes for a kick, Ryder blocks it, throws down Shinseke’s leg, and connects with the Rough Ryder!! Ryder goes into the cover on Shinseke. The ref goes into position. The ref counts 1…………2…………3!!]

JR-Zack Ryder dodged one of Shinseke Nakamango’s deadly kicks causing enough separation to hit the Rough Ryder, and get the win.

King-It’s all in the melon gods plans.

Kris Gaffney-Man…the melon god’s are real assholes.

(“Game On” blasts on the PA system. Tony Ikeda walks out on the stage. He steps inside of the ring, and waits for Joey Gambino.)

JR-Tony Ikeda knows a lot about Joey.

King-He did win his tag tournament.

Kris Gaffney-Agent Smith is not impressed.

(The lights go out and lights come on switching from red to green as we hear "Money" by Pink Floyd over the loud speakers. The fans sing along and we hear a mixture of cheers and jeers as "The White Devil" Joey Gambino steps out from the back. He stand at center stage sporting black shades and a black suit. He look out to the crowd and then rips the suit off and tosses his glasses into the crowd. He taps his chest and yells and then begins his walk to the ring. Focused and confident Joey climbs into the ring and feeds off of the fans awaiting the match to begin as he looks at the ring around him with a smile on his face.)

JR-Joey Gambino in the EMF on the other hand has had some tough luck.

King-Maybe he’s really a good tag team wrestler.

Kris Gaffney-Sadly his tag team partner isn’t around.

[The bell rings, Joey Gambino rushes in on Tony Ikeda, and he hits a few fists to the face, and Tony Ikeda attempts to guard against it. But Joey Gmabino is hitting forearm shots to the back of the neck. He whips Tony Ikeda to the ropes. He bounces off of the ropes. Joey goes for a clothesline, Tony Ikeda ducks under the clothesline. Joey Gambino turns around, Tony goes for a kick to the head, but Joey Gambino catches it. Tony Ikeda counters with a with an ezuguri to the side of the head. Joey Gambino stumbles around dazed, Tony Ikeda backs up as he stumbles towards him. Tony Ikeda hooks him, and drops him head first into the top turnbuckle into an inverted Russian leg sweep. Joey Gmabino turns around. Tony Ikeda fires away a few fists to the head, Tony Ikeda grabs Joey Gambino’s head, and he connects with a head butt. Tony Ikeda brings him out of the corner, he lifts him up, and drops him for a whiplash spine buster that plants him into the mat. Tony Ikeda goes into the cover on Joey Gambino. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1………………2…KICK OUT by Joey Gambino. Joey Gambino is slow to get up to his feet. Tony Ikeda waits for him, and he goes for a full nelson. Tony Ikeda hooks it, but Joey Gambino is able to counter it before Tony connects with one of his various full nelson moves with a snapmare. Tony Ikeda gets up in the corner, and Joey Gmabino runs at Tony Ikeda, Tony Ikeda side steps him, and throws him into the corner. Joey Gambino hits the ring post shoulder first. Joey Gambino is in a lot of pain.]

JR-Joey Gambino was able to avoid the full nelson slam, but the follow up probably wasn’t quite what he wanted.

King-He could have been going for the suplex you know.

Kris Gaffney-Guess Tony needs to do the slam first, it’s just how things need to go.

[Tony Ikeda waits as Joey Gambino gets up to his feet. Tony Ikeda goes for a splash in the corner, but Joey Gambino moves out of the way. Tony Ikeda stumbles backwards, and Joey Gambino connects with a reverse neck breaker. That puts him down on the mat. Tony Ikeda pulls himself up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet Joey Gambino picks up Tony Ikeda who is trying to pull himself up to his feet. Joey Gambino hooks Tony Ikeda, he lifts him up, and drops him for a falcon arrow. Joey Gambino holds Tony Ikeda into a pinning position. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1………..2..KICK OUT by Tony Ikeda!!]

JR-Tony Ikeda kicks out.

King-Guess we can’t say that Joey Gambino isn’t hardcore.

Kris Gaffney-Guess not.

[Joey Gambino picks up Tony Ikeda by the hair, and he sets him up, he lifts him up for the Hit. But Tony shifts his weight, and he hooks Joey Gambino. He lifts him up, and he drops Joey Gambino with the Full Nelson suplex. Joey Gambino seems out of it. Tony Ikeda goes into the cover on Joey Gambino. The ref goes into position. The ref counts 1…………..2………..3!!]

JR-Tony might have been ready for the Hit attempt there, and it set up the perfect opportunity to hit the Full Nelson suplex.

King-Tony bounces back from last week.

Kris Gaffney-Depending on what he thinks of the smoothies in the smoothie pit of DOOM…it might not have been as bad as you think.

King-Well…guess that’s true.

(“Tim Findlay’s theme” blasts on the PA system. Tim Findlay walks out on the stage. He steps inside of the ring.)

JR-The EMF veteran is looking to get a victory.

King-It’s definitely hard to get back on track once you have had a lengthy disappearance.

Kris Gaffney-Findlay has the talent, so he might be able to figure it out at some point.

(“High Volume” blasts on the PA system. Kenny Omega walks out on the stage. He does his gun hands taunt. He walks down, and enters the ring.)

JR-Since coming to the EMF, Kenny Omega has had mixed results.

King-The fact he lost to Kenny Omegrape probably stings more than most losses.

Kris Gaffney-…wonder why that is.

[Tim Findlay walks into the ring talking trash to Kenny Omega. Kenny Omega pushes Tim Findlay backwards. Tim Findlay goes for a bicycle is able to duck under it. Kenny Omega hits a kick to the back of the leg, hits another one. Tim Findlay stumbles around stunned, angry he throws a fist to the face. Kenny Omega is able to easily duck under. He hooks Tim Findlay, and he drops him for a belly to back suplex. Tim Findlay hits hard into the mat hard, he bounces up, and Tim Findlay holding the back of his head, and he turns towards Kenny Omega who kicks him in the gut, and he sets him up, and he drops him with an impaler DDT putting his face into the mat. Kenny Omega pushes Tim Findlay on to his back. Kenny Omega goes into the cover. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1………..2…..KICK OUT by Tim Findlay. Kenny Omega puts him into a seated position, and he kicks him in the back once, twice, and he puts him into a chin lock. The ref makes sure that Tim Findlay doesn’t want to give it up, and Tim Findlay slowly rises up to his feet. He hits a few elbows into the gut that stuns Kenny Omega. He breaks the grip of Kenny Omega. He runs to the ropes. Kenny Omega see’s this coming however, and he counters with a drop toe hold that sends Tim Findlay right on his face. Kenny Omega gets up, and he drops a leg drop across the back of the neck of Tim Findlay.]

JR-Tim Findlay thought that he was about to get this match back into his control, but that was not to be.

King-It’s never that easy.

Kris Gaffney-I’ve seen it be that easy.

King-OK, I stand corrected, when you face Gaffney…it is that easy.

[Tim Findlay rolls into the corner. Kenny Omega climbs for a ten punch combo as Findlay gets up. Kenny hits 1…………2…………3…………4………5….as the crowd chants along, but in the middle of the combo. He walks out of the corner, and he drops Kenny Omega for a power bomb. Tim Findlay falls back into the corner. He uses the ropes in the corner to attempt to keep himself up to his feet. However this allows Kenny Omega to pull himself up to his feet. Tim Findlay hits the bicycle into the face that he had looked for earlier in the mat. Kenny Omega goes down on the mat. Tim Findlay goes into the cover on Kenny Omega. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1………….2…KICK OUT by Kenny Omega!!]

King-Kick out by Kenny Omega.

King-Think he wishes he could go back to Japan?

Kris Gaffney-I know Alex Kobayashi wishes he could go back to Japan.

King-Why did you say that?

Kris Gaffney-Not sure….I assume Catherine Walker just made me say that with her “savior magic”. Don’t ask how that works…it’s magic, you don’t have to explain it.

King-Goes without saying.

[Tim Findlay picks up Kenny Omega. Kenny Omega counters with a jaw breaker. Tim Findlay stumbles around, and he hooks him, and he drops him with the one winged angel. Kenny Omega goes into the cover on Tim Findlay. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1……………2………….3!!]

JR-Things seemed to be going Tim Findlay’s way, but that changed with one move, and the one winged angel.

King-It’s like me, and the piledriver, no one gets up after that!

Kris Gaffney-Unless you did it in the WWE…where it had no effect.

King-At least people saw my finisher…yours was a myth! People heard it existed, but never truly saw it!

Kris Gaffney-….

(“Ultimate Countdown” blasts on the PA system. Daniel Bryan walks out on the stage. He nods to the crowd. He does the Yes taunt down to the ring. He steps inside of the ring, and he waits for his opponent.)

JR-This match is the renewal of an old feud back in 2014.

King-I thought they said it was once in a life time!

Kris Gaffney-That was some other match.

King-I still want my money back.

(“I will control your mind” blasts on the pA system. Mastermind walks out on the stage. Mastermind stares down the ring. He stares to the crowd who are wearing his “I master *insert name here* mind” t-shirt. He steps inside of the ring, and he waits for the bell.)

JR-Let’s not forget that Mastermind was not the winner of that match.

King-I’m sure a fact that bothers him every day.

Kris Gaffney-It would me.

King-You must have a lot of matches that bother.

Kris Gaffney-…well..can’t argue there…

[Daniel Bryan and Mastermind stand in the middle of the ring. Daniel Bryan yells “YES! YES! YES!” This weirds Mastermind out, so he slaps him in the face. But Daniel Bryan takes this as a challenge to a slap duel. The two wrestlers slap each other back, and forth. Daniel Bryan is able to duck one of them, he hooks Mastermind, he lifts him up, and he goes for a belly to backs suplex, but it’s countered by Mastermind who rolls out of the back. Daniel Bryan turns around, Mastermind takes him down with a double leg take down, and then he sets him up, connects with a catapault that sends Daniel Bryan flying, and he hits his head on to the top turnbuckle. Mastermind waits for Daniel Bryan to stumble around in the corner. Mastermind runs, jumps, and he connects with a splash in the corner, and this Daniel Bryan fall down to the mat. Mastermind climbs up to the second rope, and he measures up on Daniel Bryan. Mastermind leaps off of the second rope, and he connets with a flying elbow down on the downed Daniel Bryan. Mastermidn goes into the cover on Daniel Bryan. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1……….2…KICK OUT by Daniel Bryan. Mastremind jumps up, and he connects with a standing drop kick that puts down Daniel Bryan down on the mat.]

JR-So far Mastermind has not allowed Daniel Bryan to get out of the gates.

King-He might not either the way this match is going.

Kris Gaffney-I guess we should start the presses for the new Mastermind shirt.

[Daniel Bryan gets up to his feet slowly as Mastermind stalks Daniel Bryan. Mastermind attempts to go for the Mind controller. But before Mastermind can truly get it on, Daniel Bryan counters with a snap mare that sends Mastermind flying away. Mastermind attempts to go for a super kick, Daniel Bryan ducks under, and he kicks him right in the head. Mastermind goes down in a heap as Daniel Bryan falls back into the corner.]

JR-Daniel Bryan is looking for the thing to end this match.

King-That almost seems impossible at this point.

Kris Gaffney-Neither wrestler seems to want to lose this match.

King-What wrestler does want to lose?

Kris Gaffney-Odge, he loses, and it’s awesome.

King-…Ok, other than him.

Kris Gaffney-Guess no one…

[Mastermind is slow to get up to his feet. Daniel Bryan runs, and he connects with the running knee to the face. Mastermind goes down on the mat. JR-Daniel Bryan had hit his finisher, but Mastermind was able to use the bottom rope to break the count, and it led him to the victory.

King-That does make them tied up, doesn’t it?

Kris Gaffney-Kind of…

(“X going to give it to you” blasts on the PA system as Logan Riley, Wade Wilson walks out along with Paige. They looked annoyed as they see Charlotte Flair in the crowd holding a sign that reads “I defeated the Off Consistently” joke. They step inside of the ring.)

King-I have no idea what’s that is about.

Kris Gaffney-Something, something, Samuel L Jackson reference for some reason here.

King-Pretty much

(“The Duck song” blasts on the PA system. The tag team champions Walter Melon and Shinseke Nakamango walks out on the stage, they step inside of the ring.)

JR-Tonight the Melon Club has a chance to stop a major challenge to their championships.

Kris Gaffney-Shouldn’t be the Devils?

Kris Gaffney-Luckily we’ll never see her again, thank god…

[Logan Riley starts out this match with Shinseke Nakamango. He paces around the ring, Logan Riley says something bad about fruit. Shinseke doesn’t like that, he throws a kick, Logan is able to easily duck under it, and he hits a knife edge chop to the chest that echo’s through out the arena as the crowd yells “whooooooooooooo”. Shinseke stumbles backwards. Logan Riley grabs Shinseke Nakamango’s arm, and he whips him to the ropes with a Irish whip. Shinseke hits the ropes bouncing off of the ropes, Logan Riley attempts to go for the Final Cut. Shinseke is able to duck under, and he continues to the other side of the ring. JR-It looks like Wade Wilson is about to take a chance.

King-Where is Paige?!

Kris Gaffney-She’s at ring side.

King-Yeah….I know, I just wanted to make sure you’re paying attention.

Kris Gaffney-I hate you King!

[Wade Wilson climbs up to the second rope, he measures up, and he goes for a splash from the corner, but Shinseke Nakamango counters by getting his knee’s up. Shinseke Nakamango makes the tag to Walter Melon. Walter comes into the ring, and he ducks under a fist by the stunned Wade Wilson. Wade Wilson hits a drop kick to the back of Walter Melon. Walter falls to the outside, but Shinseke is able to make the tag on Walter Melon as he falls out of the ring.]

JR-Shinseke is once again legal.

King-Does Off Consistently know?

Kris Gaffney-I think their more worried about the next installment of Wreck It- Ralph…..seeing how glitches bother them so much.

King-Guess their next move is to hit a man with glasses…the plan comes together.

[Shinseke goes to the top rope, and he leaps off of the top rope for a splash. But Logan is able to counter by getting his knee’s up. Shinseke stumbles around holding his mid section. Logan hits the Final Cut on Shinseke. Shinseke goes down on the mat. Logan goes into the cover on Shinseke. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1………….2………3!!]

JR-The blindside tag didn’t work quite as planned.

King-Seems their always about 50/50.

Kris Gaffney-Sure that’s not the aim though.

(Logan Riley and Wade celebrate their win as Shockwave goes off the air.)
