EMF: Shockwave

(The EMF logo flashes on the screen.)

(The lights are turned off. Pyrotechnics blasts from the top of the arena down to the Saturday Shockwave stage lighting up the arena with every crash. The lights turn on as the firework show ends. Fans are yelling, and waving their signs as the camera zooms around the Shockwave audience.)

JR-Tonight the EMF comes to you live from Nations Capital, Washington DC. Welcome to Saturday Shockwave. I’m good ol’ JR, Jim Ross along side Jerry “the King” Lawler, and Kris “KG” Gaffney. King tonight features the IC champion taking on the world champion as Buddy Friend goes up against Logan Riley.

King-Logan must have seen the rise of Buddy Friend, I’m sure he is prepared for a fight tonight.

Kris Gaffney-Let’s not forget the other great matches….

JR-Speaking of which, the #1 contendership for the TV championship is about to get under way, so let’s take it to ring side.

(“The Duck Song” blasts on the PA system. Kenny Omegrape walks out on the stage. He throws grapes to the crowd. The crowd throws oranges back. It doesn’t seem to bother Kenny as he is being pelted in the face.)

JR-Kenny Omegrape is looking to get another shot at Wade Wilson.

King-Seemly the crowd is taking advantage of their shot at Kenny Omegrape.

Kris Gaffney-Well, their using fruit, that’s a positive.

(“High Volume” blasts on the PA system. Kenny Omega walks out on the stage. He does his gun taunt on the top of the stage, before continuing down to the ring.)

King-Didn’t he just come down to the ring?

Kris Gaffney-No…pretty sure this one isn’t fruit obsessed.

King-Oh…right…

JR-Kenny Omega has been impressive since coming to the EMF.

(The lights go out and lights come on switching from red to green as we hear "Money" by Pink Floyd over the loud speakers. The fans sing along and we hear a mixture of cheers and jeers as "The White Devil" Joey Gambino steps out from the back. He stand at center stage sporting black shades and a black suit. He look out to the crowd and then rips the suit off and tosses his glasses into the crowd. He taps his chest and yells and then begins his walk to the ring. Focused and confident Joey climbs into the ring and feeds off of the fans awaiting the match to begin as he looks at the ring around him with a smile on his face.)

JR-Joey Gambino first came into the EMF a house of fire, and has cooled off since then.

King-Getting the TV title shot would help though, he does have some unfinished business with Wade Wilson.

(“Ben Black’s theme” blasts on the PA system. Ben Black walks out on the stage, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Ben Black has been attempting to break through since coming to the EMF.

King-He’s shown up here, and there over the past year, maybe this will be his time.

Kris Gaffney-Guess we will see.

[Kenny Omegrape goes up to Kenny Omega, and they argue about…well I think you know what they are arguing. Kenny Omega puts Kenny Omegrape into a side head lock, and he pushes him backwards to the ropes. Kenny Omegrape whips Kenny Omega. He bounces off of the ropes. Kenny Omegrape hits a release arm drag that sends Kenny Omega flying across the ring. Kenny Omega hits the mat, and he gets up fairly quickly. Kenny Omegrape hooks him into a hammer lock, lifts him up, and drops him for a hammer lock body slam. Kenny Omega is in a lot of pain. Kenny Omegrape makes sure that neither Joey Gambino, or Ben Black are going to get involved. Kenny Omegrape see’s that they are too busy brawling on the outside of the ring. Kenny Omega tries to use this distraction to attack Kenny Omegrape. He throws him into the ropes. Kenny Omegrape lifts up Kenny Omega on his shoulders, he sets him up, and he throws him on to his knee’s. Kenny Omega is in a lot of pain as Kenny Omegrape takes a few moments to consider what his next move is.]

JR-Inside of the ring Omegrape is in full control.

Kris Gaffney-Good thing were not just fully focused on that…were having an epic brawl between Ben Black and Joey Gambino.

King-It brings a tear to my eye.

[Kenny Omegrape lifts up Kenny Omega, Omega is able to counter by reaching up, and he rolls up Kenny Omegrape into a small package. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1………….2…KICK OUT by Omegrape. Omegrape gets up to his feet, and he is met with a super kick that knocks back Omegrape. Kenny Omegrape falls back into the corner. Kenny Omega kicks him in the gut that doubles him over. He hooks him into a front face lock. He lifts him up, and he puts him up on the top rope. He goes up to the top rope. He hooks him, and he connects with a super plex.]

JR-Omega connects with the super plex.

King-But I think that took as much out of him as it did Omegrape.

Kris Gaffney-I hate moves like that.

King-You would…

[Kenny Omega slowly turns, and he throws his arm over the downed Kenny Omegrape. The ref counts 1…………..2…..KICK OUT by Omegrape!! On the outside of the ring Joey Gambino has Ben Black over his shoulder, he runs, and he connects on Ben Black. Ben Black splats on the mat. Kenny Omega tries to pick up Joey, Joey counters with a knee lift, he runs with Joey, and he throws him hard into the ring post. He falls out of the ring.]

JR-Kenny Omega might have saved the match for everyone…other than Joey Gambino.

King-That didn’t make Joey happy.

Kris Gaffney-Or William Regal..he used the power of the punch!

[Joey Gambino turns around, right into a chair shot by Ben Black. Ben Black puts the chair down on the mat as Joey Gambino didn’t go down, and he hooks him, and drops him with a DDT that sends Joey’s face first right into the chair. Ben Black see’s that Kenny Omega is getting up to his feet on the outside of the ring. Ben Black runs to the ropes. He bounces off of the ropes. He jumps through the ropes, and he connects with a suicide dive. Both wrestlers are down as the crowd chants “this is awesome” to the previous move by Ben Black.]

JR-What a move by Ben Black.

King-What do you think Kris?

Kris Gaffney-I get the feeling that it’s not great.

[Ben Black gets up, and he throws Joey Gambino into the ring. Ben Black slides into the ring, and he lifts him up, and drops him for his finisher. Joey Gambino seems to be out of it. But Kenny Omegrape drops Ben Black with a double arm DDT that puts him into the mat. Ben Black rolls out of the ring. Kenny Omegrape goes into the cover on Joey Gambino. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1………….2…………3!!]

JR-Kenny Omegrape did it! He took advantage of the situation, and won his rematch.

King-He probably will have a slide for you JR for doubting him!

The lights go out and begin to flash blue as we hear "Done With That (Day One Remix)" by CFO$ over the loud speakers. The fans have a big POP and begin chanting "USOS" as the two brothers slowly walk out from the back. They stand at center stage and look out to the crowd and then at eachother. They tap their forearms together and begin their walk to the ring. Focused and confident both brothers climb into the ring and feed off of the fans awaiting the match to begin as Jey stays outside, and Jimmy goes into the ring.

JR-The Usos’ haven’t been on the best of runs since losing the tag team titles, but we could see it all turn tonight.

King-It was the Badd Bros who got them off on the right foot to begin with.

Kris Gaffney-I’m sure that the Badd Bros want to make sure that doesn’t happen again…

(“Game On” blasts on the PA system. Tony Ikeda and Zack Ryder walks out on the stage. Ryder with his web camera takes footage of him on the way down to the ring.)

JR-On the other hand, I’m sure that Tony and Ryder would like to prove something against the Usos’

King-I’m sure that they are hoping that they just haven’t run into the team that has their number.

Kris Gaffney-Wonder if their number is Tony’s actual age…

[Tony Ikeda and Zack Ryder talk about who is going first. Zack Ryder decides to start first. Jimmy Uso runs at Zack Ryder, Zack Ryder side steps him, and throws him into the corner. He hits a few stomps into the gut in the corner. Zack Ryder hits a few stomps into the gut, and he hooks his head, and he brings him over into a snap mare Zack Ryder kicks him in the back. He jumps off of the top rope, and he brings down a double axe handle on Jimmy Uso. Jimmy Uso falls down on his knee’s, Tony Ikeda gets up to his feet, and he calls for the full nelson slam.]

JR-Tony Ikeda getting ready for his trademark full nelson slam.

King-Guess he doesn’t think it’s time for the suplex.

Kris Gaffney-He’s building up to it.

[Tony Ikeda waits for Jimmy Uso, and he hooks Jimmy Uso, and he goes for the full nelson slam. But it’s countered with a snapmare. Tony Ikeda gets up, and Jimmy Uso connects with a super kick that puts down Tony Ikeda. Jimmy Uso makes the tag to Jey Uso. Jey Uso comes into the ring. Tony Ikeda goes down on the mat. Jey Uso hits a few forearm shots to the face of Tony Ikeda, and he tries to whip him to the ropes. But Tony Ikeda reverses the whip. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1……………………….2………………KICK OUT by Tony Ikeda, Jey Uso waits for Tony Ikeda to get up to his feet.]

JR-Jey Uso might be setting Tony Ikeda up to end this match.

King-Or go for another super kick

Kris Gaffney-I put my money on super kick.

[Jey Uso picks up Tony, and he hits a body slam. He goes to the outside of the ring, he climbs up to the top rope, he jumps off for a splash. But Tony moves out of the way. Jey crashes into the mat. Ryder goes into the cover on Jey. The ref counts 1………….2…………3!!]

JR-The Badd Bros defeat the Uso’s.

King-They got their revenge.

Kris Gaffney-Wonder if it made them feel any better.

(“The Duck song” blasts on the PA system. Walter Melon walks out on the stage. He yells to the crowd about great fruit knowledge as he enters the ring.)

JR-This next match should be quite a slobberknocker.

King-You think Walter broke Carnage’s record for greatest promo of all time?

Kris Gaffney-NO!

(“heavy sits the crown” blasts on the PA system. Daryl Prichard walks out on the stage. He steps inside of the ring as he waits for the bell.)

JR-Last year it seemed like no one could beat Daryl Prichard, especially not at a hardcore match.

King-Guess we’ll find out if he can beat the current Extreme champion.

Kris Gaffney-Then he can have upside down kiss with Mary Jane….I mean Carmella. Yes, I said that right.

[Daryl Prichard and Walter Melon stand in the ring, and Daryl Prichard pushes back Walter Melon backwards. Daryl Prichard goes for the Stone Fist. Walter Melon ducks under, Daryl Prichard turns around, and he gets clotheslined over the top rope. He then hits him hard with the monistor to the side of the face which makes Daryl Prichard fall on the announcers table. Walter Melon puts him on the table, and gets up on the table with him. Walter Melon sets him up into a piledriver position, he lifts him up, and drops Daryl Prichard with a sitdown piledriver. The table does not break however, and Daryl Prichard’s head bounces off of the table, and he falls down on the arena floor. Daryl Prichard gets picked up by Walter Melon. Walter Melon throws Daryl Prichard into the ring. Walter Melon goes into the cover on Daryl Prichard as he slides into the ring. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1………..2…KICK OUT by Daryl Prichard. Walter Melon sits down on the mat, shakes his head, and then he brings down a few mounted fists to the face.]

JR-Daryl Prichard kicks out. My god, what will it take.

King-There is a reason why he was so successful last year.

[Walter Melon picks up Daryl Prichard, and drops him. He goes to the outside of the ring, and he climbs up to the top rope. He measures up, and he leaps off of the top rope for his finisher splash. But Daryl Prichard is able to get up his knee’s. Walter Melon hits his knee’s, he rolls off stunned. Daryl Prichard is up to his feet, and he hits a flowing DDT that plants Walter Melon into the mat. Kris Gaffney-I don’t know…that mat looks pretty comfortable

He hits a catapault that sends him face first into the turnbuckle. He falls down on the mat. Walter Melon goes to the top rope. He stands up, and hits the Fruit smash splash on Daryl. Walter Melon goes into the cover on Daryl Prichard. The ref counts 1………..2……….3!!]

JR-Daryl Prichard attempted to hit the Stone Fist, but it backfired.

King-He really wanted to hit that move.

(“If you smell” blasts on the PA system. The Rock walks out on the stage, he walks down to the ring, he rises his arm to the crowd on the turnbuckle when he gets into the ring. He waits to his opponent.)

JR-The Rock has quite the championship history, but is known most for his extreme title reign.

King-You mean he just missed breaking Twilights record by days?

Kris Gaffney-That still must sting.

(“X gonna give it to you” blasts on the PA system. Wade Wilson walks out in slow motion. He enters the ring.)

King-I think if we get the Undertaker to race Wade to the ring, he might win.

Kris Gaffney-Someone had to say it.

[The Rock and Wade Wilson slowly make their way into the middle of the ring. They talk trash. Wade Wilson takes the first fist to his feet, the Rock blocks it, and he hits a hard fist to the face that knocks down Wade Wilson. The ref makes sure that it’s not a choke hold, while also making sure that Wade doesn’t want to give it up.]

King-You really think this will make Wade quit?

JR-You never know King, stranger things have happened.

King-That’s true…Kris didn’t lose every match in his in ring career after all.

Kris Gaffney-………..

[Wade Wilson fights up to his feet, and once he’s up to his feet, Wade Wilson drops down, and he connects with a reverse jawbreaker that makes the Rock stumble backwards. Wade Wilson gets up to his feet, The Rock angry runs at Wade Wilson, and Wade Wilson is able duck under a clothesline by the Rock. Wade Wilson picks up the Rock, and he connects with an inverted atomic drop. Wade Wilson runs to the ropes, and the Rock attempts to go for another clothesline, Wade Wilson ducks under that one as well, and he hooks The Rock, and he drops him for a reverse neck breaker. Wade Wilson drops to a knee. Seeing that the Rock might be stunned enough to attempt his finisher, Wade Wilson gets up to his feet. He starts to measure up as The Rock is slowly pulling himself up to his feet.]

JR-Wade Wilson is looking to put this match away.

King-Maybe if he can win here, he can tell us who he’s talking to.

Kris Gaffney-Always a good question..

[The Rock is up to his feet, Wade Wilson double under hooks him for his finisher when “the Duck song” starts to play. Wade Wilson is looking up the ramp as Walter Melon walks out on the stage. Suddenly the Rock gets out of the double under hook, and school boys Wade Wilson. The ref counts 1………….2………….3!!]

JR-Walter Melon decided to make an appearance, and it didn’t work out too well for Wade Wilson.

(“That’s entertainment” blasts on the PA system. Logan Riley walks out on the stage with the world championship. He walks down to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-It’s time for our main event.

King-The world champion Logan Riley will be facing the IC champion…you would think that world champion has the edge, but that hasn’t always been the case.

Kris Gaffney-Don’t we know it.

JR-Buddy Friend is riding high after beating Daryl Prichard, winning here will help his situation quite a bit.

King-He definitely can only help himself here that’s for sure.

Kris Gaffney-That’s what you think. The pressure is on Buddy Friend…winning means a lot.

[The World Champion Logan Riley holds up the World Championship. “Nice Guy” Buddy Friend answers with holding up the IC championship. The ref makes both wrestlers give him the titles to which he gives them to the time keeper before ringing the bell. Logan Riley backs away as he watches as Buddy Friend gets up in the corner, and Buddy Friend is up to his feet fully. Logan Riley runs to the corner, and he connects with a running clothesline!]

JR-Buddy Friends tactics to start this match didn’t work out quite as he thought it would.

King-How do you know?

Kris Gaffney-Good guess..

[Logan Riley turns towards the ring hooking Buddy Friend, but before he can bring him out of the corner for a running bulldog, Buddy Friend holds on to the ropes, he makes Logan Riley back away from the corner, and he goes for a running clothesline. Buddy Friend counters with a back elbow which makes Buddy Friend stumbles backwards. Buddy Friend steps out of the corner, and he hooks Buddy Friend, and he drops Logan Riley for his trademark move the unfriended!! Buddy Friend tries to go into the cover on Logan Riley to see if that is enough to put away the world champion. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1………2..KICK OUT by as Logan Riley rolls the shoulder up!!]

JR-The IC champion was this close to beating Logan Riley.

King-That’s pretty close.

Kris Gaffney-I think the audience can see that…

[Buddy Friend goes to the outside of the ring, and he climbs up to the top rope. He stands up, and he jumps off of the top rope as Logan Riley is up, but Logan Riley counters with the Final Cut!! Buddy Friend is out cold. Logan Riley goes into the cover on Buddy Friend. The ref counts 1………….2……………3!!]

JR-Buddy Friend however let his guard down, and that caused him to make a big mistake which allowed Logan Riley to gain the victory.

King-Shouldn’t have jumped off the top turnbuckle.

(Logan Riley holds up the world championship as Buddy Friend is coming to as Shockwave goes off the air.)
