EMF: Saturday Shockwave

(The EMF logo flashes on the screen, we go into the Shockwave video.)

(The arena is dark, Pyrotechnics blasts on the stage. They complete, and the lights turn on. Fans yell, and wave their signs. Some signs say

JR-Welcome again to another edition of Saturday Shockwave. We are coming off Dark Horizon. I’m good ol’ JR, Jim Ross along side Jerry “the King” Lawler, and Kris “KG” Gaffney.

King-We have a great show for you tonight, all headlined by Death Jester and Brett Crane taking on Cyrus Black and Jay Voltage.

Kris Gaffney-You got to wonder which team will be able to hold it together, and who wouldn’t.

King-That’s why we have matches like that, so let’s get started.

(“Mechanical Rhythm” blasts on the PA system as Fredrick Tomas walks to the ring. He steps inside of the ring.)

JR- Tomas looking to turn things around after trailing off after a good start to his EMF career.

Jerry "The King" Lawler-It’s not easy to shake off the rust, but it’ll happen with time.

( Adam Blake's theme song blasts on the PA system as "Dark Atom" Adam Blake walks to the ring. He steps inside the ring.)

JR- One has to wonder what kind of mental state Blake is in.

King- He is the anti-Rigimortis

("Shipping up to Boston" blasts on the PA system as Marcus O'Hara walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR- O'Hara has to be wondering if the Wyatt Family has further plans for him.

King- Do they really have a plan for anything?

The bell rings and all three men behind circling the ring. Without speaking, Blake and O'Hara charge at Tomas and hit him with a double dropkick. Tomas gets up and they hit him with another. He gets up again and they go for another double dropkick, but he avoids it and hits them with a double clothesline. He picks up O'Hara and hits him with a Sidewalk Slam. As Blake gets up he is instantly hit with a shoulder block.

JR- It looked like the smaller guys were going to team up for the advantage

KING- The Best Laid Plans of Mice and Men...

KG- You read?

Blake gets back up as Tomas bounces off the ropes and hits him with a dropkick of his own, sending Blake out of the ring. O'Hara is up and closing in on the unaware Tomas, he hits a clothlesline from behind, sending Tomas out of the ring. O'Hara makes his way out of the ring. First, he picks up Blake, and drives him head first into the ring post. As he is about to turn his attention to Tomas, he is met by a spinning heel kick. All three are down for a few seconds. Tomas gets up first, instead of going on the attack, he reaches under the ring. First he pulls out a few chairs and throws them in the ring. Then he takes out a singapore cane. He walks over to Blake and is about to unload when he is taken down with a drop toe hold face first on the ground. Blake picks up the cane and begins pelting Tomas in the back. After six welts are left on Tomas he turns his attention to O'Hara. Blake winds back and nails O'Hara in the back again and again. He picks O'Hara up and rolls him under the ring. O' Hara is holding his back in pain. Blake runs to the corner and jumps to the top turnbuckle. While Blake is settling on the top rope about to attack, O'Hara realizes a chair right next to him. Blake leaps off and goes for a Frog Splash, O'Hara grabs the chair within an instant and puts it across his knees. Blake hits the chair and O'Hara's knees hard. O'Hara goes for the cover...1...2...kickout. O'Hara gets up and sets up both chairs next to the downed Blake. Outside the ring, Tomas has taken a table from under the ring. He sets it up just outside the ropes, and grabs the Singapore Cane. O'Hara is not looking and is about to bounce the ropes when he is hit with the cane in the back of the head. He turns around in pain, Tomas pulls him close by his arm and sets him up for a suplex. Tomas picks him up like he is going for a suplex, instead just drops O'Hara through the table. O'Hare is out. Tomas then looks at the downed Blake. He moves the chairs right next to each other. He grabs Blake by the waist and hits him with a Bridging Northern Lights Suplex through the chairs and holds it for the pin..1...2...kickout.

JR- Tomas has just changed the course of this match

King- But will it be enough? My money is on the "Dark Atom" still...Its Science.

Tomas gets up frustrated. He walks to the under end of the ring slids underneath the ropes to the outside. He reaches under the ring and grabs three chairs and throws them into the ring. Then he grabs another table and slids it into the ring. Out of nowhere he catches movement out of the corner of his eye, O'Hara is up and coming fast, he hits Tomas with a hard clothesline. He picks Tomas up by his head, and rolls him onto the announce table. He picks up Tomas, and nails him with a DDT that breaks the announce desk.

KING- NOT AGAIN!

Both men are down. Inside the ring, Blake is slowly getting to his feet. He sees the tables and chairs. He gets to the table and drags it over to the corner closest to the announce table and stands it up. He gets a chair and sets it up about five feet from the corner. He rolls outside the ring and grabs O'Hara. Again he rolls him under the ropes. He drags O'Hara's half concious body to the front of the table. Then Blake goes to the outside and grabs Tomas, he drags him and rolls him under the ring. He sets him right in front of O'Hara, as O'Hara is getting to his feet. Blake runs to the opposite corner, then he turns, runs back, jumps off the chair, and Tomas with a Knee to the head...the force sends Tomas into O'Hara, thus breaking the table. Blake turns his back on his opponents. O'Hara falls on top of Tomas...the ref begins counting..1..2...Blake realizes and breaks the pinfall before the ref can get to three.

JR- What instincts by O'Hara

King- Instincts? or Luck?

KG- Andrew? Where?

Blake is kicking the downed O'Hara in the gut. Out of nowhere O'Hara grabs Blakes ankle and twists, causing Blake to lose his balance and fall to the ground. O'Hara stands up releases Blake's ankle. He sees a chair and grabs it. He nails Blake a few times in the back. Then gets the ankle he grabbed originally and sets it between the chair.O'Hara begins to stomp repeatedly on the chair. Blake is in obvious pain, clutching his ankle. O'Hara grabs the other other chair and begins to bring it down hard on Blake's ankle. He has now done it five times before dropping the chair. He walks over to the corner, and begins to climb the top turnbuckle. He struggles but gets set up and leaps, on the way down he is met by a Mid-Air Cutter by Tomas. All three men are down on the mat.

JR- You can tell O'Hara was not comfortable up there.

KING- Less comfortable than Mack at a Masked Men party.

KG- Low Blow

[Blake picks up Marcus O’Hara, O’Hara hits Blake with brass knuckles. Blake falls out of the ring. Tomas hits a low blow on O’Hara, and he rolls up O’Hara. The ref counts the 1……….2………..O’Hara reverses the pinning combination on Tomas. He hooks Tomas for the 1………….2…………Blake breaks up the count….but not before the 3 count.]

JR-Marcus O’Hara just barely got out of here with a victory.

(“Tristan Hawk’s theme” blasts on the PA system as Tristan Hawk walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Tristan Hawk didn’t have the best of times at Dark Horizon.

King-Well, always got to go on to the next match.

Kris Gaffney-That’s the most important thing.

(“” blasts on the PA system as Alex Kobayashi walks to the ring. He steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Alex Kobayashi is coming back for a few month’s disappearance.

King-He seemed to have fun at E3

Kris Gaffney-That’s the most important thing.

[Alex Kobayashi and Tristan Hawk pace around the ring, and Alex Kobayashi takes a wild swing at Tristan Hawk. Hawk ducks under, and then Hawk throws one of his own that lands, he tries to go for a few more, but Alex Kobayashi hits a kick to the gut that doubles him over, and then he runs to the ropes for some sort of move, but Tristan Hawk hooks Kobayashi for a back slide, but Kobayashi rolls off of the back of Tristan Hawk. He falls down on the mat, and then he hooks Tristian Hawk for a small package, the ref counts the 1…………2……..KICK OUT by Tristian Hawk. Hawk gets up to his feet, and Alex Kobayashi hits a short arm clothesline that knocks down Tristan Hawk. Tristan Hawk is slow to get up to his feet, and Alex Kobayashi measures up on Tristian Hawk. Hawk gets up to his feet, and Kobayashi hits a few kicks to the side of the ribs, and he tries to whip him to the ropes, but Tristan Hawk reverses the whip. Alex Kobayashi bounces off of the ropes, he ducks under a clothesline by Tristan Hawk. He continues to the other side of the ring. He bounces off of the orpes, and he hits a flying forearm shot that knocks down Tristan Hawk. He picks up Hawk who is trying to get on his feet anyways as soon as he gets up to his feet, he hooks Tristan Hawk, and then he drops him for the side Russian leg sweep, and Alex Kobayashi floats into the cover on Tristan Hawk, the ref counts the 1……………..2…………..KICK OUT by Tristan Hawk. Alex Kobayashi hits a few mounted fists to the face, and then he picks up Tristian Hawk, he picks up Hawk, and he goes for a piledriver, but it’s blocked by Tristian Hawk who gets out, and then he pushes him into the corner. Hawk goes for a shoulder block in the corner, but it’s countered with a knee lift to the face. Tristan Hawk stumbles out of the corner holding his face. Alex Kobayashi hits a kick to the side of the head, which makes Tristan Hawk stand on his feet for a few moments, and then he falls down on the mat.]

JR-What a kick by Kobayashi.

King-He looks better than ever JR.

Kris Gaffney-Maybe something bad happened at E3, and he decided to get his frustrations out on Tristan Hawk.

[Kobayashi measures up on Tristan Hawk thinking that he could end this match right here, and he backs up, and he measures up for the Ride to Heaven. He hooks Tristan Hawk, and he goes for the Ride to Heaven, but it’s countered, and then he hits a release arm drag that sends Kobayashi flying. Kobayashi dazed gets up to his feet. Tristan Hawk picks up Alex Kobayashi, and he puts him over his shoulder, and he drops him for a death valley driver on Alex Kobayashi. Tristan Hawk goes into the cover on Alex Kobayashi, the ref counts the 1……………….2………….KICK OUT by Alex Kobayashi. Tristan Hawk looks at the ref doesn’t argue, he hits a few stomps on the downed Alex Kobayashi, and then he picks up Alex Kobayashi. He hooks Kobayashi, and he puts him on to the top rope. He hits a few shots to the back of Alex Kobayashi, Hawk climbs up to the top rope, he hooks Alex Kobayashi, and he hits a super plex that puts down Alex Kobayashi.]

JR-What a move by Tristan Hawk.

King-He’s going to have to do something to end this match though.

Kris Gaffney-That’s always the hard part.

[Tristan Hawk waits as Alex Kobayashi gets up to his feet. He rusn to the ropes, he comes off of the ropes. But Kobayashi is able to hook, lift, and drive down Tristan Hawk with the Ride to Heaven. Kobayashi goes into the cover on Tristan Hawk. The ref counts the 1…………2…….3!]

JR-Kobayashi wins! Kobayashi with a successful return match!

("Radio" blasts on the PA system as Zack Ryder walks to the ring. He steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Zack Ryder seems to think that he could eliminate his fellow TV contender.

King-Maybe he plan on hurting Big Zak?

Kris Gaffney-That shouldn't be easy.

("Boss of the sticks" blasts on the PA system as Big Zak walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-That's right King, I don't think it's going to be that easy.

King-Plus these two could see each other later on.

The ref signals for the match to start. The bell sounds and the match is on the way. Ryder strikes Big Zak in the face. Big Zak barely moves, Ryder throws a number of rights and lefts and Big Zak just stands there. Ryder runs at the ropes and jumps at Big Zak and hits him with a shoulder. Big Zak takes one step back to steady himself but still acts like nothing has happened. Ryder runs at the ropes once again but this attempts to take Big Zak off his feet by jumping at Big Zak knees. Big Zak sidesteps Ryder causing Ryder too miss Big Zak picks Ryder up via his hair and gives him a chop to the face. Ryder hits the deck . Big Zak rolls him up and attempts the pin

JR- Big Zak with the first pin attempt in the match.

Kris Gaffney-Think this will work?

King-You never know...but not likely

The ref begins the count 1.........2........ Big Zak brakes the count.Big Zak stands picking Ryder up and throws him into the corner. With Ryder collapsed in the corner Big Zak runs into Ryder hitting him with his shoulder. Big Zak hits him a number of times in the face and then begins to choke Ryder in the corner.

King-Seems that Big Zak isn't done with Ryder yet.

JR-That could cost him later.

The ref begins the count 1..........2....... Big Zak releases the choke and the ref pulls him away screaming at him and giving me a warning. While the ref was talking to Big Zak Ryder had hit the deck. The ref goes over to check Ryder. Big Zak goes over to the corner removing one of the turnbuckle covers revealing one of the steel buckles. Big Zak turns pushing the ref out off the way and picks Ryder up and sets him up for a Powerbomb into the corner Big Zak lifts him up above his head. Ryder manages to slide out of the back door. King-I have no idea how.

[Ryder measures up on Big Zak, and he charges at Big Zak, he goes for a clothesline. But it’s countered with a back body drop. But it’s countered with a back body drop. Ryder lands on the apron, and he kicks Big Zak to the side of the head. Which stumbles backwards, Ryder leaps on the top rope, and he leaps off of the top rope, but Big Zak ducks under, and he sets up, and he goes for the clothesline from hell. But it’s countered with a knee to the gut that doubles him over, and he hits a double arm DDT. Zak runs to the ropes, and he goes for the clothesline from hell, but Zack Ryder ducks under. Big Zak turns around right into the Rough Ryder. Zack Ryder goes into the cover on Big Zak. The ref counts the 1.............2............3!]

JR-Big Zak thought he had the match in hand, but Ryder turned the tables at the last moment.

King-Think he planned that?

Kris Gaffney-Maybe.

("Ultimate Countdown" blasts on the PA system as Daniel Bryan walks to the ring along with Angelina Love. He steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Daniel Bryan is someone that you can never take lightly.

King-I think Wyatt knows that.

Kris Gaffney-Or hopefully he does.

("Broken up in love" blasts on the PA system as Bray Wyatt walks to the ring with his lattern. He steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Wyatt is someone that is looking at a bigger picture than just one fight.

King-He's looking to gain power.

Kris Gaffney-Can't do that if he doesn't show his followers he's wortyh to follow.

Wyatt and Bryan talk trash, and Wyatt throws a fist to the face, and Bryan waits for Wyatt to turn around, once he does Bryan hits a standing drop kick that stumbles Wyatt. With Wyatt stunned, Bryan runs to the ropes, and he comes off of the ropes. Wyatt goes for a clothesline, but it’s ducked under by Bryan, and Bryan bounces off of the ropes. He comes off of the ropes, and he leaps in the air, but Wyatt hits a head butt that takes Bryan out of the air. He crashes on the mat, and slowly he gets up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet he falls into the corner, and Wyatt hits a few elbows into the gut, and this stuns him, and he whips him to the corner. He crashes into the corner, Bryan stumbles out of the corner, and Wyatt hits a body splash out of the corner, Bryan falls to the mat, and rolls into the corner. He is sitting in the corner, and Bryan tries to get up to his feet. But before he can, Wyatt hits a few stomps that keeps him in a seated position.Wyatt puts his foot on the throat of Bryan. The ref counts to 4, and Wyatt backs off, and Wyatt goes back into the corner where Bryan is, and he hits a hard fist to the face, and once he has him stunned enough Wyatt sets up Bryan, and he hits a hip toss out of the corner, and he crashes on the mat hard. Slowly Bryan stumbles up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet. Wyatt hits a knee lift into the gut, and puts Bryan into what seems to be a gut wrench power bomb, but as Wyatt has Bryan up. Bryan out of self preservation counters this with a hurricanaran that sends Wyatt into the corner. This stuns Wyatt, and Bryan charges into the corner, and Wyatt counters with a elbow to the face. Bryan stumbles out of the corner, and he gets picked up, and slammed down on the mat hard with a spike standing spine buster! Wyatt falls backwards holding his face as he hit the turnbuckle pretty hard. But with the last move, and the fact he hasn’t take very many moves yet from Bryan, he is able to recover from the move. He looks angry as Bryan stumbles up, looking dazed on his feet, and Wyatt kicks him in the gut. Bryan doubles over, Wyatt puts Bryan into a power bomb position. He lifts him up, and drops him for a power bomb, but doesn’t let go, and Wyatt pulls him up once again, and drops him for a sit down powerbomb into a pin. The ref counts the 1…………………..2……………………Bryan was close to the ropes, so he grabs ahold of the ropes. This breaks up the pin, as Wyatt doesn’t seem to be paying much mind that Bryan wants to prolong his pain.]

JR-It seems like Bray want to inflict more pain on Bryan.

King-That could come back to bite him.

Kris Gaffney-I got a feeling it will.

[Wyatt goes into the corner, and once he does, he motions for Bryan to get up to his feet. Once he gets up to his feet, Wyatt charges at Bryan. Bryan turns around, and Wyatt goes for the Sister Abigail Bryan ducks under, and he goes into the corner, and Wyatt turns around recovering, he charges at Bryan Bryan counters with a drop toe hold this sends Wyatt face first into the top turnbuckle. He stumbles around, and Bryan climbs up to the second rope, and once he does. Wyatt stumbles towards him, and Bryan hooks Wyatt, and Bryan hits Wyatt with a tornado DDT that plants Wyatt, Bryan actually does not have enough to follow up so he lies on the mat trying to recover. The ref starts his standing ten count 1………..2…………..3………..4…….both wrestlers are trying to get to their feet…….5….6…..7…Wyatt is amazingly able to get up to his feet first, and he see’s that Bryan is up to his feet as well, but clearly he is still dazed, so Wyatt tries to use this chance to hit Bryan with the Sister Abigail that he was going for before, but Bryan ducks under, and Wyatt turns around. Bryan hits a few fists to the face, and Wyatt backs to the ropes, and Bryan tries to whip him to the ropes, but it’s reversed by Wyatt, and Bryan bounces off of the ropes. Wyatt lowers his head, and Bryan counters with a swinging neck breaker. Wyatt gets up to his feet, and Bryan charges at Wyatt, but it’s countered by him hitting a back body drop over the top rope on Bryan. Bryan lands on his feet, and Wyatt turns around, and he hits a hangman on Wyatt.]

JR-Bryan has turned this match around.

King-Wyatt really is probably regarding not putting away Bryan now.

Kris Gaffney-Maybe...

[Bryan gets up on the apron, and he climbs up to the top rope, he measures up as Wyatt is getting up to his feet, Bryan leaps off of the top rope, and he goes a double axe handle, but Wyatt catches Bryan, and drives him down with the power bomb with authority. Wyatt backs up into the corner, and he motions for Bryan to get up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet, he turns towards Bryan. He goes for his finisher, but it's countered with arm bar. Wyatt fights it, he spins Bryan, and throw shim off. He knocks down the ref, Bray hits a low blow. He sets up Bryan, and he hits sister abigail on Bryan. Wyatt goes into the cover on Bryan, and the ref counts the 1………2….......3]

JR-The ref didn't see that low blow!

King-And you're surprised...

INT. BACKSTAGE OFFICE

MARC WINTERS is sitting across from DEATH JESTER in one of the smaller offices in the back. MARC WINTERS is looking directly at the camera.

MARC WINTERS

Good evening and welcome to the Winds of Winter. I'm Marc "The Master" Winters and tonight, for our premiere show, I bring to you the only logical choice for such a momentous occasion, Death Jester. He is arguably the best in the business right now and without a doubt a star on the rise.

MARC WINTERS turns his head to look at DEATH JESTER.

MARC WINTERS

Thank you for accepting my invitation, Death Jester, it is truly an honor to sit across from you. Please, tell me what brought you to the EMF.

DEATH JESTER

The thing that brought me here was the competitive juices. I was sitting at home, really thinking that my time in a ring was done. Thinking that the scars had accumulated as much as I wanted them to and I was coming close to admitting to myself that I was retired. But then I flipped on an episode of Shockwave, and what I saw kept me watching. There was John Cena, a dominant champion. There was Lee Foster, running his way up the roster. There were guys like Khaos and Nostalgia, showing me that wrestling could still be fun. And then there was the crop of new blood, the young bucks that were trying to make a name. And when I looked them over, I saw a group that had potential, but needed the challenge of someone who would teach them as he beat them, and help lead the revolution of the EMF. And after several weeks of watching, I couldn’t help it, I made the call. And luckily I was welcomed. I knew that my time in the spotlight was so far gone that no one would know who I was, but I felt in my heart that I could get into that spotlight one more time and make a difference. So when you ask me what brought me back here, I guess as much as anything, it was faith. Faith in my ability, faith in the business, and faith in my competition to bring the best out of my old body. And so far they have lived up to their end, and I am pretty confident that I have lived up to mine.

MARC WINTERS

Since you have been in the EMF, what has been your biggest challenge?

DEATH JESTER

Oh wow, that’s a loaded question, Marc. If you are asking me to name a name, which I think you are, it is a very loaded question. If you are asking me what type of personal challenge has been the hardest, it is a little easier. Because the hardest part for me was the early going. Trying to find myself and to shake the rust off. I know that at the time I caught a lot of flak for saying it, but it did take me a few weeks to get acclimated to this place and to find my voice and my skill set. I was being anti-social, finding dirty rooms instead of shared locker rooms. I was playing the old dark card that I had played for so many years in my previous time. And I was still not sure of where I fit in with the batch I dubbed the New Blood, even though the veterans were happy to lump me in with them. So it took me about a month to really get my feet under me in the EMF, so I guess in a way I am lucky that I have stayed undefeated this long. As far as the biggest challenge in the ring, I had one heck of a tough time with Daniel Bryan. He has pushed me hard. I know there are a few others who have given me a tough enough match to get named, but I’m not going to sit and hype everybody. They know who they are.

MARC WINTERS (smiling)

Yes, I was looking for a name and it was very loaded. I apologize for that. Mickie James said it best: "Six and fucking oh. That's what more you can do." Your ability to win is unmatched. How do you do it?

DEATH JESTER

I’m the best wrestler in the world. I say it. I believe it. I back it up. Now does that mean that I am unbeatable? Of course not. There are several men that I can think of right off the top that could have beaten me, but it takes skill and luck combined to win consistently. A man can’t just think that he is unstoppable. The minute you believe your own hype, you will find out you aren’t near as good as you think you are. Now I know that I am as good as I think I am, but I also know how this business works and I know how your luck can change for a variety of reasons on any given night. There is not another man in this company who is better than me, but that doesn’t mean that one of them can’t get lucky one time on one night. So as confident as I am, I also prepare more than anyone else, and I stay cautious with every match. I may talk the big game and tell everyone that they have no chance, but I fight like every scrub in the building could catch me slipping. Even a joke like Tomas I have to make sure I take seriously from bell to bell.

MARC WINTERS

Bell to bell indeed. Well said. On the subject of winning, let's look at your Intercontinental Championship. What does it mean to you?

DEATH JESTER

Everything. It is the most important title in the EMF, and in the wrestling world as far as I am concerned. I didn’t make my claim to it lightly. And I didn’t say I wanted it for a year just because it was a nice title to hold. I wanted this title because to me it is the one that proves you are the best wrestler. The world title is the crown jewel, the title that you have to hold to be seen as the top dog. But you can’t get to the world title without going through the IC title. Every man should have to fight the IC champion to prove he deserves a shot at the world champion. So to me, I am in the most important position in the entire EMF. I don’t care what anyone else says or what anyone else thinks, as long as the fans are entertained, that is what matters to me. And being the best damn Intercontinental Champion in the history of this business. I think I am on the way to that claim being verified, but I know that I still have a long way to go.

MARC WINTERS

At least you know that you're not there yet. Many in your situation would have their nose in the air, but that doesn't seem to be your style. In fact, your style has been mostly that of a man who keeps to himself and needs no one. What brought you to respect and later befriend Shadow?

DEATH JESTER

I know what everyone is thinking. And I know what some people have been saying. But I don’t care what people say, all I care about is what we do. And what we have done is come into this federation and become fast enemies, but that turned into a mutual respect, and that turned into a behind the scenes friendship. And so when the time came for one of us to go for the world title, I told him that I would do whatever it took in that battle royal to help him get there, and we could then let the world know that we were on the same side. My ego had a hard time swallowing it, of course I want to be the world champion. But I also pride myself on sticking to my word. And my word was that I would represent this EMF Intercontinental Championship for a full year. And my word was that I would help my friend. And that is exactly what I did. And I am proud of him for everything he has become in such a short time here.

MARC WINTERS

Nostalgia?

DEATH JESTER

Well that is my other backstage friend that has moved out front. He was on the climb up a little ahead of me when I got here, and so our rise to where we are now kind of coincided. He got to the world title and I moved up to the IC title within a couple weeks. And we just clicked in the locker room and started roading together more. So when the problems with the Wyatt crew kept happening, he told me he had my back, but I kept assuring him I had it under control. Well, friends can’t just stand by and see friends in trouble, so he jumped up and helped me, and it looked like we might have heat, but that is just what friends do. And since he and I are now out in the open as friends, and our crew has a name, we have plans now. And those plans involve doing something that apparently no one else has done in a while here. I’ll wait until the time is right for us to talk about that together, but we have a goal in mind, and when a pair of men like us set a goal, it is going to be achieved.

MARC WINTERS

With that in mind, will you be going after the tag team championship?

DEATH JESTER

Does the EMF have tag team titles? That’s weird, I don’t think I have ever seen anyone come out and defend them, so maybe the tag titles have been retired.

MARC WINTERS

(laughing)

Could be. Who else has earned your respect?

DEATH JESTER

Respect? I respect everyone in the EMF. Until you show that you don’t deserve it. But the man who I have the most respect for is Daniel Bryan. I know I said earlier that he was my toughest challenge, but he is also the man who has been the most fun to work with, outside of Shadow. Bryan is a man who excels in the ring, and if you don’t have your very best skill set on full display, he will beat you. Daniel is a man who could be the world champion if he put his mind to it. And I respect the hell out of him.

MARC WINTERS

You mentioned to Apocalypse that you have no intention of fighting for the World Heavyweight Championship. Will the day ever come when that changes?

DEATH JESTER

Of course it will. Just as soon as my one year reign as the EMF Intercontinental Champion is over. But if you have questions about the world title, you might want to make your next interview request with a different Watchman.

MARC WINTERS

So if not the World Heavyweight Championship, then what is next for Death Jester?

DEATH JESTER

Next? Well, I guess that depends on what the EMF throws at me. I am here to defend this Intercontinental Championship. I am here to stand watch on the wall. And I am here to beat back every pretender who comes to the EMF thinking that they are going to rewrite the order of things here. I don’t have any more big changes lined up in my career or my life. I have adjusted who I am, and I have made it clear what my goals are for the next year. I’m sure along the way there will be a surprise or 2 in store. But I am not going to claim that there is anything specific lined up. We will be making our group of Watchmen more official and make our goals clear to the rest of the EMF this week. The goal you all know is to be draped in gold, which we already have accomplished. So what’s next? I know you are asking, but with the greatest sincerity Marc, I am not in the position to give you the answer today.

MARC WINTERS

I can appreciate that. One more question, a bit of a fun one I like to throw in here at the end. You've got one pink-slip to give to anyone on the roster. Who goes to the unemployment line?

DEATH JESTER

I’m not the firing type Marc. Everybody that has been given a job here has a job to do and a part to play. Even scumbags like Keith Craddock and Tristan Hawk have a place here. The place for them is to be victims for the rest of us who love it here, but they have a place. Even people like Tomas and Rick Ranger have a place. The climbers here have to have someone to wrestle that they can beat so they can get a little confidence before moving up fight better talent. It helps to weed out the ones who aren’t good enough. So in answer to your question, I wouldn’t do any firing, even if I have a pretty serious dislike for a couple guys here.

MARC WINTERS

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Death Jester. Thank you again for sitting down with me and best of luck in the future.

CUT TO COMMERCIAL

(“Pain” blasts on the PA system as Hardcore Kid walks to the ring, he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Hardcore Kid made his return to the EMF at Dark Horizon.

King-Seems like he didn’t forget some of the things that happened when he was gone.

Kris Gaffney-Well, he was only gone a few month’s.

(“Big Slack’s theme” blasts on the PA system as Big Slack walks to the ring, he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Not entirely true Kris, Hardcore did a few matches in May, one of them was against this man.

King-He didn’t seem like he forgot either.

Kris Gaffney- He helped Slack, but seems like Slack didn’t want his help.

The ref counts to 4, and Big Slack backs away, and then he hits a knee lift into the gut that stuns Hardcore Kid. Big Slack goes into the cover on Hardcore Kid, the ref counts the 1……………….2…………….KICK OUT by Hardcore Kid.]

JR-You’re not going to beat Hardcore Kid that easily.

King-When you got someone like Slack crashing down on you, it has to take a champions will to kick out.

Kris Gaffney-You’re never going to let that go.

[Hardcore Kid is down on the mat, and Big Slack hits a few fists to the face of Hardcore Kid. The ref makes him back away, and then Big Slack listens to his, and he goes back on the attack once he gets the chance to do so, and he goes back to where Hardcore Kid is, and then he picks him up, and he puts him over his shoulder, but Hardcore Kid is able to slide out of the back as Slack runs out of the back of Slack. Big Slack hooks Hardcore Kid, he lifts him up, and drives him down with the Death From Above. Slack goes into the cover on Hardcore Kid, the ref counts the 1……….2……..3!]

JR-What were the Wyatt’s doing here?

King-No idea JR.

(“Close your eyes” blasts on the PA system as Chrisitan walks to the ring, he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-It’s been a while since Christian has had a match.

King-He doesn’t seem too happy about it.

Kris Gaffney-Who would be?

(“” blasts on the PA system as Mack O’Connor walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-A few month’s ago Mack O’Connor look to posed to become world champion, but it was cut short by masked men.

King-Since that time, Mack has been searching for them.

Kris Gaffney-Guess if he wants to carry on, he needs to make sure he isn’t looking over his shoulder.

[Mack O’Connor and Christian talk trash, Mack pushes Christian backwards, and then Christian bounces back, and he hits a forearm shot to the face of Mack. Christian hits a few fists to the face. JR-Christian has got to think of a way to turn this match around.

King-I think he just wants one more chance to start this match over.

Kris Gaffney-Probably

[Mack O’Connor picks up Christian from the mat, but Christian rakes the eyes of Mack O’Connor. Christian goes behind Mack, and he drops him for a diving DDT that puts down Mack. Christian takes a few moments to rest up, and then Mack is getting up to his feet, and then Mack charges at Christian. Christian counters with a drop toe hold that sends Mack to the second rope. Mack goes into the corner, but Christian jumps through the ropes, and he uses the ropes to sling shot his boots to the face. Christian climbs up to the top rope, he waits for Mack to be where he wants, he leaps off, and he hits a missile drop kick on Mack.]

JR-What a move by Christian.

King-I hope Mack hasn’t looked passed this match.

Kris Gaffney-His mind must be all over the map, so I wouldn’t be surprised

[Christian claps his hands, he measures up Mack, he tries to go for the Kill Switch, but Mack is able to get an arm free, and he hits a snap mare that sends Christian flying. Christian gets up, he stumbles right into the Claymore. Mack goes into the cover on Christian. The ref counts the 1…………2………..3!]

JR-Mack O’Connor with a great counter to get the win.

Kris Gaffney-He was able to fight Christian’s finisher just enough to get out, and counter it.

("Iron Man" blasts on the PA system, Prez Mike walks out on the stage. He has a microphone.)

.::Prez Mike::.-In this business, you can probably count the amount of times that you get a "thank you" for putting in everything to a company. But that's what you sign up for, you work hard, only for paranoid fuck wats to try to tear it down. Well Mack, a few weeks you included me in a list of possible people that could have either arranged for you to be attacked, or did it myself. Mack I could stand here, and ask you why I would do that? You're without a doubt a great talent, something that I would be completely stupid to try to take out of the game. I could tell you despite the fact that you always seem to assume the worse, we actually like you. But you wouldn't believe me, would you? So instead of letting you come to me, I'm going to come to you, and let you know that if I had any hand in what happened at the chamber, that you would have known it by now. Make no mistake, you can go back into the EMF archives, you can point out times that I joined with a talent to take out another talent, but it always had a point, and when I did I had no problem letting the guy know that I did it. I didn't hide behind a mask, especially not that long, so in short Mack, despite whether you view me highly, or not, I will tell you straight to your face, I had nothing to do with your attack. I actually hope you do find the people who did that, but you know the man you are, and you know what type of world you come from. I can only imagine that you know what your up against, so with that said, I wish you good luck with that. Got any questions, you'll know where to find me. (Prez Mike flips the microphone down, and leaves the stage as Shockwave goes to commercial, and comes back.)
