EMF: Shockwave

(The EMF logo flashes on the screen, and we go into the Shockwave video.)

(Once that ends, we go into the Staples Center. Pyrotechnics blasts on the stage, and then the lights turn on as they end. Fans yell, and wave signs. Some signs say "Max Gunner = General Zod", "I'm the Mercenary...where's my title shot?", and "Logan Riley does interesting stuff on his time off.")

JR-Welcome to Saturday Shockwave. Tonight we are coming off a great Whiplash. I'm good ol' JR, Jim Ross, along side Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Kris "KG" Gaffney.

King-That's right tonight, Cyrus Black will take on Syn.

Kris Gaffney-He has so many things to worry other than that. You got to wonder if Cyrus will show that he's once again...not great.

(The arena is silent for a few moments but is soon filled with deafening boos as "Bad, Bad Man" plays over the PA System and EMF President John Cena makes his way out onto the ramp and heads down into the ring. HE takes a microphone to address the audience.)

Cena: Last week was one of the toughest weeks I have had in this industry. I am a man who has won 7 World Championships, has been inside and won the Elimination Chamber twice, has been to hell and back with many, many opponents, and yet... nothing compares to having to watch as my two daughters, two of the people who mean more to me than anything in this world went to war with each other. It was so hard for me, and only made harder by the fact that Laura felt she was screwed when she got her foot under the bottom rope.

(The crowd boo, and a "You screwed Laura" chant breaks out. Cena shakes his head.)

Cena: It's impossible for me to tell whether I got that decision wrong or not. I have replayed the footage time and time again, and I don't know whether Laura's foot got under the rope before 3 seconds, because I'll admit it... my count was a fraction slower than it could have been. I cannot tell you whether or not that pin should have been broken. The only thing I can tell you is that my decision is final. The pin was counted and Rachel Cena is your new EMF Women's Champion. Furthermore... I am here to make an announcement regarding the future of the championship. I've seen the feedback and the views of the people. I know people are salivating at the thought of a rematch. Normally if a match had that much hype, I would book it immediately. But I cannot do that again. I can't go through that again. So as the Co-President of this company I officially announce that there will be NO REMATCH between Laura and Rachel. Laura will not receive a championship shot until Rachel loses the belt. Once she loses the belt, we will talk about Laura getting her rematch that she deserves, but it will not come against Rachel. I feel that....

(Before he can continue, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Miley Cyrus plays over the PA System and the crowd cheer as Laura Cena appears on the ramp, microphone in hand.)

Laura: You feel what? The need to protect Rachel? The need to keep me away from the championship that should still be mine? I don't truly believe there was any hesitation in your count... but even if there was, how is that my problem, or my fault? The only fact of the matter is my foot broke the pin BEFORE you hand came down for a 3. Slow count, fast count... it makes no odds... you messed up the call, and that was not a legitimate pin. I should still be the champion, and you know it.

Cena: Laura, part of me does agree with you, and part of me doesn't. As a business man I want to let you two beat the hell out of each other right here tonight. But as a father.... it can not happen. You have a claim to the title...Rachel has a claim to the title... but I just can't watch that again. My decision stands. You will get your rematch when Rachel loses the championship, you will just have to wait until then.

Laura: Well I think that's bullshit, but there's little I can do about it. Except from... ensure that Rachel loses the championship. I actually don't want to fight her again... I just want a conclusion to the match we had on Sunday that is actually fair. But as the Divas General Manager.. I am here to name her challenger for the next Pay Per View. At Dark Horizon Rachel will defend the championship against another woman who won last week, and quite possibly the best women's champion of all time.... Miss Jackie.

(The crowd cheer, and Cena nods his head. Suddenly the lights go out. When they return, Rachel Cena is standing in the ring, with the EMF Women's Championship over her shoulder. She offers her father a hug, which he gives her, and Laura scowls at them.)

Rachel: I hate to say I told you so... oh... who am I kidding... I fucking love it! I told you Laura. I told you you didn't have it in you to defeat me. I told you that no matter what, I would get the championship. Frankly my win over you ended up being a clean one.... A nice fair fight... and even our father not wanting to count against you couldn't stop me winning. Here I stand on top of the mountain, having dethroned you in my first ever one on one match. How does it fell, big sister? It's such a shame that father has prevented us from doing this all again. That said with your back and shoulder injuries you sustained... it would hardly be a fair fight now, would it? Don't worry though.... one day you'll get another title shot.... if anyone can ever beat me. It's a big if.... so maybe you won't, but we will see how that goes. In the meantime, I have a little announcement to make. In the interest of proving to the world that I am the greatest of all the Cena's, better than my sister, and even better than my father, I am going to do something neither of them has ever done. Right here and now I am going to announce that I am going to defend the EMF Women's Championship.... EVERY SINGLE WEEK. Yes... you heard right... a Cena is going to work a Saturday. Madness, I know. So any Diva that thinks they can topple me.... come and have a go. Come and take the championship. The reasoning is simple. I want to watch as little Laura gets her hopes up every single Shockwave... and I want to crush them every week. It's an open challenge to the whole female roster, so don't think either of you can just pick my opponents. I want to take on and beat EVERYONE. We'll start later tonight, if any one has the guts to challenge me.

(With that, the lights go out again, and Rachel disappears. Laura and Cena both head to the back as we go to commercial.)

("if you close your eyes" blasts on the PA system as Christian walks out doing his ultra hoody master entrance. He steps inside of the ring.)

Kris Gaffney-His opponent doesn't seem all there.

("Ashes to Ashes" blasts on the PA system as Rayne Phoenix walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Rayne didn't win last week, but I don't think Mike New will forget his match with Phoenix.

King-I don't think he will.

[Daniel Bryan and Rayne Phoenix pace around the ring, they try a test of strength which hasn't happened in wrestling (at least in the WWE) in god how long. But Daniel Bryan stops it before it gets going with a kick to the hand. Then Rayne Phoenix turns around into a side head lock then he puts on the pressure on Rayne Phoenix. JR-What the hell is with this man?

King-And why doesn't he do that during the match?

Kris Gaffney-Maybe he should get in an actual extreme match.

("What do you know" blasts on the PA system as Alex Kobayashi walks to the ring. He steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Kobayashi made his return at Whiplash.

King-Seemly it started some confusing stuff with Russ Massel.

Kris Gaffney-Whatever happened, Kobayashi wasn't a fan.

Alex Kboayashi gets hooked by Marc Summers, and driven down on the mat with a front russian sweep. Alex Kobayashi rolls under the ropes. Kris Gaffney-That wouldn't be the return that Kobayashi wanted.

JR-Zack Ryder scores a victory with an excellent counter.

King-Riley didn't see that one coming.

("I am the Fire" by Halestorm plays over the PA System and out comes the EMF Women's Champion, Rachel Cena, with the championship over her shoulder.)

JR: I guess the champion finally got a theme song....

King: I hear Dan Godwin had a hand in that.

Kris: Maybe finally he'll tell us who won between War and Peace.

(There is a silence as Rachel awaits her mystery opponent, and then all of a sudden "Angel on my Shoulder" plays over the PA System and out comes none other than Velvet Sky.)

JR: Well this is a surprise.... we haven't seen Velvet in a long time.

King: Last time she was around she was failing to earn a contract.

Kris: Well she's a former champion in her own right.... though some dispute that after Mickie claimed she lay down for her.

(Rachel smirks as Velvet slides into the ring. The bell sounds and the two of them circle the ring. Velvet charges at Rachel and goes for a clothesline but Rachel ducks underneath it. Velvet turns around and Rachel unloads on her with right hands, knocking her back. Rachel backs Velvet up into the ropes and then whips her across the ring. Velvet comes back off the ropes on the opposite side of the ring and Rachel plants her down with a spinebuster. Rachel moves Velvet over and hits some hard kicks to the back.)

JR: Well, we saw Rachel use the Sharpshooter on Laura... could she be trying to wear down Velvet's back for that?

King: It's possible, but maybe she just wants to inflict pain.

Kris: It feels like this is an ideal opponent for her... this is bound to send a message to Laura.

(Rachel continues to kick away at Velvet but eventually Velvet is able to pull herself to her feet. Velvet charges at Rachel and hits a neckbreaker. She hits a few stomps and then Rachel stumbles to her feet and Velvet hits a suplex. She covers the champion for 1..... kick out. Rachel gets to her feet and Velvet whips her across the ring and then as she comes back, Velvet hits a Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissor to take her down. Rachel stumbles up with Velvet behind her and Velvet goes for the Beauty Mark but Rachel grabs hold of the ropes and Velvet crashes to the mat. Velvet gets up and Rachel picks her up and hits a sidewalk slam. Rachel hooks the leg for 1..... 2..... kick out.)

JR: Rachel seems to have this pretty much in control.

King: We mentioned before Velvet has no contract.... you have to imagine, if she wins, John Cena will give her one.

Kris: Hope we're still talking about a contract....

King: Of course. I doubt even Cena would make that mistake again.

(Rachel goes over and hits a few more kicks to Velvet's back. Velvet is clutching it in pain and then Rachel grabs her legs and goes for the Sharpshooter. Rachel turns her over and locks in the hold. Velvet screams out in pain and reaches for the ropes, but Rachel pulls her away from them. It looks like Velvet is about to tap, but suddenly Rachel releases the hold, and dumps her down. She drags Velvet to her feet, kicks her in the midsection, and nails the Bastardisation! Rachel hooks the leg and the referee counts 1..... 2....... 3!)

JR: Near total domination from the champion.

King: Well.... Velvet was rusty.

Kris: She wouldn't be if she learnt to actually stick around for once.

(Velvet has barely moved, but Rachel picks her up again, and then hits a Tombstone Piledriver on her. Rachel laughs as she looks down at her and stands over her with the championship.)

JR: You have to feel this is a message to Laura....

King: Laura isn't allowed to challenge her....

Kris: Doesn't mean things are over between them....

(The lights go out ,and Rachel disappears from the ring. So does Velvet, because that's what she does.)

("Hell awaits" blasts on the PA system as Cyrus Black walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Cyrus Black has been a little paranoid due to the presence of the Mercenary recently.

King-Can you blame him....despite him saying otherwise, I still think it's Gaffney.

Kris Gaffney-Are you really going to think I'm going with the usual masked man route...I have other plans. (he brings out an evil robot version of Cyrus Black.)

("Hell to pay" blasts on the PA system as Syn walks to the ring. The people with hoods follow him. He steps inside of the ring as they stand by the corners.

Kris Gaffney-Maybe the Mercenary's one of the hooded people with Syn.

King-So one of them is the Mercenary AND a Syn hooded person?

Kris Gaffney-Double the pay..unless Syn is behind it all....hhhhhmmm...

[Cyrus Black pace around the ring, and then Syn lock up, and then he pushes him back into the corner. Cyrus Black is in the corner, and the ref counts to 4, and Syn backs up, but he goes for a cheap shot to the face. But Cyrus Black is able to duck under his head, and he hits a few fists to the face that makes him rock in the corner, and he brings him out of the corner. Cyrus Black sets him up, and he whips him to the ropes. He bounces off of the ropes as he comes off of the ropes, he bounces off of the ropes. He comes off of the ropes. Cyrus Black hits a spinning elbow to the face that knocks him down on the mat. He is down on the mat, and he is in a lot of pain. He gets up he hits a knee lift to the gut that doubles him over, Syn double under hooks him into a double under hook suplex that puts him down on the mat, and then he hits a kick to the back. He is in pain, and then Cyrus Black backs up, and then he comes off of the ropes. He bounces off of the ropes, he hits a snapmare that sends him down on the mat. He goes down on the mat, and then Syn gets picked up by Cyrus Black, and then he hits a body slam. He backs up into the ropes, he comes off of the ropes. He hits a leg drop across the face of Syn. Cyrus Black goes into the cover on Syn. The ref counts the 1..................2.......................KICK OUT by Syn. Cyrus Black hits a few stomps on the downed Syn who tries to get up to his feet. Cyrus Black backs up, and then he hits a kick to the ribs that makes him roll away, and then he tries to get away from Cyrus Black having to roll under the ropes.]

JR-Cyrus Black is on the attack.

Kris Gaffney-Something tells me not for long.

King-That's my line!

[Cyrus Black closes in on Syn as he gets up to his feet. Syn climbs up to his feet. Cyrus Black gets hit with a hang man that makes him stumble backwards. Syn climbs up to the nearest turnbuckle. Cyrus Black stumbles towardes Syn, and then Syn leaps off of the top rope, and he hits a double axe handle that puts down the world champion. Syn falls to his knee's, and then Syn takes a few moments to rest up. He watches as Cyrus Black pulls himself up to his feet, and then he throws a fist to the face. Syn ducks under, and he puts on a sleeper, and then Cyrus Black struggles trying to find a way out of the hold. Before Cyrus Black goes out he charges to the turnbuckle. He ducks under, and then he makes Syn fly face first into the turnbuckle. Cyrus Black stumbles backwards. He measures up on Syn in the corner, he charges, and he goes for a splash in the corner. But Syn moves out of the way. He crashes into teh corner. Cyrus Black stumbles backwards. Syn hooks him, and he hits a release german suplex that sends him flying, and crashing down on the mat. Both wrestlers are down on the mat. The ref starts his standing ten count. 1........................2......................3..................4................5...............6...........both start to make it up to their feet...................7................8...................9................both wrestlers make it to their feet just before the ref gets to the count of 10.]

JR-They both just barely beat the count.

King-I guess Cyrus regretting under estimated Syn.

Kris Gaffney-He does that a lot...stares down Cyrus.

[One of Syn's followers stand on the apron. It does get Cyrus attention. Syn hits a double axe handle. Syn picks up Cyrus Black. Cyrus struggles, and he lands on his feet. Syn turns around right into the Black Out. Cyrus Black goes into the cover on Syn, the ref counts the 1..............2..................3!]

JR-Syn tried to use the numbers game, but it didn't quite work.

King-I guess not...

(Cyrus Black stands in the ring waiting for the Mercenary, but nothing happens. Cyrus looks like he's about to go out, and make good on his claim. The lights go out. The lights turn on. On top of the stage stands the Mercenary. He points down Cyrus Black, and does the title signal around his waist. Cyrus charges at the Mercenary. The lights turn back off, and turns back on. Cyrus is on the top of the stage looking around for the Mercenary.

JR-Looks like the Mercenary accepted Cyrus' challenge, but told him the title must be on the line.

King-If we couldn't figure that out by ourselves...guess we know now.

(Shockwave goes off the air with that.)
