EMF: Saturday Shockwave

(The EMF logo flashes on the screen, and we go into Shockwave video.)

(We end that, and we fade into the arena as pyrotechnics blasts the stage. The lights turn on as fans yell, and wave their signs. Some signs say “BROTHER! Madison Square Garden BROTHER!”, “I paid to see the X-Factor!”, and “Good luck with that!”)

JR-Welcome to the home of the NBA’s Sacramento Kings, this is Saturday Shockwave. I’m good ol’ JR, Jim Ross along Jerry “The King” Lawler, and Kris “KG” Gaffney.

King-Headlined by Mike New and Randy Orton.

Kris Gaffney-Orton should make head start on his entrance now.

(“Dirty Window” blasts out and at the top of the stage walks “The X-Factor” Dan Godwin. He is carrying one of his old EMF World Championships and Tag Team Championships with him, the crowd give a mixed reaction as Godwin starts to walk down towards the ring.)

JR – Well we are scheduled to see Dan Godwin take on Stone Cold Steve Austin but why does he have a World Championship with him?

King – There have been rumours flying round that Dan Godwin has lost his grip on reality since the events of First Blood, maybe this just confirms the rumours.

Kris – We’d all love to carry round the title, give the guy some slack.

JR – Look at his eyes Kris, he isn’t focusing, he’s staring off into the distance, we need someone out here to stop this match.

(Godwin climbs into the ring and grabs a microphone and stands in the centre of the ring and starts to talk.)

|+|The X-Factor|+| - Well isn’t this a treat for you all? I was sat backstage and I know I’ve not been seen stateside since I won my FIRST EMF World Championship at First Blood. I told you that I would do it and I did and here I stand before you as a DOUBLE CHAMPION.

(Godwin raises both belts into the air and the crowd seem very confused by his actions and barely react.)

|+|The X-Factor|+| - Anyway, I’ve spent enough time celebrating as of late, so it’s now time to get down to business, it’s now time to prove to the World that Dan Godwin is a fighting champion, so I decided to come out here, not hog the limelight in the main event, even though lets face it, I am the main event of the EMF, but I thought I’d give somebody else the chance to have the main event spot, I thought I’d come out here and put my title on the line in front of each and everyone of you, now the only thing I need is a challenger. So I, Dan Godwin, your EMF World and Tag Team Champion stands before you in the middle of my ring laying down an open challenge for my World Championship, it could be anybody here tonight, it could be Tyson Tomko, Chris Legend, John Cena, The Gambler, Troy Gafgen, Tony Ikeda, heck it could even be you or you *points to people in the crowd* or you, so come on, somebody show guts, somebody grab the brass ring, somebody get your ass down here for the opportunity of a lifetime to take on the EMF World Champion and try and take my championship from me, I promise I won’t hurt you much, someone come and seize their dream, anybody, this chance doesn’t happen very often. Oh I get it you are all scared to take on the EMF World Cha….

(“The Glass Breaks” blasts on the PA system and cuts off Godwin as he talks as Stone Cold walks to the ring, and once he gets in the ring, he poses on each corner.)

King- What is Godwin playing at? He’s not world champion and this match was already scheduled

Kris Gaffney- Stone Cold doesn’t look like he found it very funny.

JR- I wouldn’t want to be in Godwin’s shoes but he seems to be applauding the guy to the ring.

(Stone Cold climbs onto the apron and Godwin goes to open the rope for him but Stone Cold pushes him out the way and climbs in. Godwin then goes back to the microphone.)

|+|The X-Factor|+| - Alright Son, finally somebody with guts, I respect that, so tell everybody your name and where you come from?

(Stone Cold stares at the microphone and barges past Godwin and goes to the ropes and does his salute to the crowd.)

|+|The X-Factor|+| - Ok a showman, I can respect that but don’t leave the crowd hanging, they need to know about you because this is your fifteen minutes son, make the most of being in this ring with me, who are you and where are you from?

(Stone Cold stares at the microphone and just slaps it out of Godwin’s hand and they get into each others faces. Godwin backs off and smiles and goes to pick the microphone back up.)

JR – What is Godwin doing? He’s just pissing Austin off.

|+|The X-Factor|+| - Ok, aggression, you don’t really want to do that, but ok, if you don’t want to answer then I guess that’s fine, best of luck to you son, this will be a story you can tell your grandkids when you are sat on a porch later in life that you were once in the ring with the immortal, the legend, Dan Godwin.

(Godwin chucks down the microphone and puts his hand out to shake hands. Austin looks at his hand and back to Godwin and says something and pushes Godwin’s hand out of the way. Godwin laughs and once again offers the hand, this time Austin pushes him back and sticks up the middle finger which draws a huge cheer from the crowd. Godwin seems to contemplate for a moment before finally offering his hand again, this time Austin spits in Godwin’s face. Godwin takes a step back and looks out to the crowd and starts to leave the ring. The crowd boo but Austin pushes him in the back into the ropes. Godwin stands there for a moment looking into the crowd as Austin slaps him round the back of the head, suddenly out of no where Godwin answers with an eXecution on Stone Cold and falls into the cover and the ref counts the 1….2….3!)

JR - Well that came from out of nowhere.

King – But what about the events prior to that?

Kris – How can someone lay out an open challenge to a scheduled opponent for a belt he doesn’t have?

JR – And not know who Stone Cold is? I’m worried about Godwin, someone needs to get his head right.

(Godwin stands up and the ref goes to raise his hand but Godwin walks off with his “championship” belts up the ramp seemingly oblivious to the events that just transpired, as he reaches the top of the ramp Christine appears and he seems to walk right past her without noticing her, she chases after him.)

(“If You Smell” blasts on the PA system as the Rock walks down to the ring, and he does his usual poses.)

JR-The Rock has his mind else where lately.

King-Yeah, he definitely is looking to prove something to Dan Godwin.

Kris Gaffney-Shouldn’t be a surprise though at this point.

(“Monster” blasts on the PA system as Abyss walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Abyss has won a few matches here, and there, and might be looking towards some gold here soon.

King-Yeah, but the Rock has been a big time player in the EMF since he came to the WWE.

[The Rock and Abyss pace around the ring, they lock up, and once they do Abyss throws the Rock off. The Rock gets up to his feet, and Abyss goes for a clothesline, but it’s ducked under by the Rock. Abyss turns around, and the Rock hits a few fists to the face of Abyss, Abyss backs up to the ropes, but Abyss ducks under on the Rock for another fist to the face, and The Rock turns around, and Abyss is able to drive the Rock into the corner, the Rock is trapped in the corner, and Abyss goes for a shoulder block into the gut of the Rock, but the Rock is able to counter it with a knee lift that makes Abyss stumble backwards, and the Rock tries to whip him to the ropes, but it’s reversed by the Rock, the Rock bounces off of the ropes. Abyss goes for a big boot to the face, but the Rock ducks under, he bounces off of the ropes. He comes off of the ropes on the other side as Abyss turns around, and Abyss see’s the Rock leap in the air, and he hits a flying clothesline that knocks down Abyss to the mat. Abyss slowly gets up to his feet, the Rock grabs him by the hair, and he throws him over to the ropes, and he crashes on the mat. The Rock takes his time to soak in the reaction from the crowd, and then he rolls out of the ring. He comes up on Abyss who is slow to get up to his feet, and the Rock grabs Abyss by the hair, and brings him to the ring steps, and he smashes Abyss face into the ring step, Abyss falls to one knee, and the Rock grabs him by the hair, and he throws him into the ring. The Rock hits a few fists to the face, and Abyss backs up, and the Rock tries to whip Abyss to the ropes, and he reverses it, the Rock bounces off of the ropes, and once again Abyss goes for the big boot, but the Rock is able to grab a hold of Abyss’ leg, and he goes for a dragon leg whip, and hits it, and the Rock tries to lock on the sharpshooter. Abyss struggles, and finally he is able to kick off the Rock into the corner, and Abyss gets up to his feet, and he charges at the Rock in the corner, the Rock counters by side stepping Abyss, and throwing him into the corner. Abyss hits into the ring post shoulder first. Abyss falls out of the corner, and he goes into the corner, and the Rock hits a few fists to the face of Abyss, and he spits on his last punch, and he hits his spit punch. This effects Abyss extra as the Rock backs up, and motions for him to come towards him. Abyss stumbles dazed towards the Rock, the Rock gets under him, and hits a samoan drop on Abyss. The Rock goes ino the cover on the Monster, and the ref counts the 1…………2………KICK OUT by Abyss.]

JR- The Rock used a lot of leverage for that move.

King-Well, you got to counter act Abyss’ weight somehow.

[Abyss is down on the mat, and the Rock picks up Abyss, and he scoops him up, and hits a body slam on Abyss. The Rock sets him up, off of his elbow pad, and motions for the People’s Elbow. He runs to the ropes, he bounces off, and the Rock tries to jump over but Abyss is able to reach up, and trip him up. The Rock, and Abyss are down on the mat, and Abyss gets up to his feet as the Rock does, the Rock goes for the Rock Bottom, but it’s countered with a few elbows to the side of the head. The Rock spins around right into a set up, and he hits a belly to belly suplex that plants the Rock, and this gives Abyss the time that he needs. Both wrestlers get up around the seven count of the standing ten count, and the Rock takes a wild swing at Abyss. The Rock turns around right into a big head butt that takes down the Rock. The Rock gets up to his feet, but he’s dazed, and Abyss whips the Rock off of the ropes, and he bounces off of the ropes. Abyss lowers his head, and he hits a big back body drop that sends the Rock through the air, and he crashes down on the mat. Slowly the Rock gets up in the corner as Abyss is taking this time to rest, and measure up. Abyss picks up the Rock, and he hits the shock treatment on the Rock. Abyss goes into the cover on the Rock, and the ref counts the 1……………….2…………….kick out. Abyss gets in the ref’s face who is backing down trying to explain that he only got a two count.]

JR-Abyss is someone that you don’t want to mess with.

Kris Gaffney-And the ref’s don’t get paid enough to.

King-They get paid more than you.

Kris Gaffney-What?!

[Abyss grabs the Rock around the throat, and lifts him up to his feet, and Abyss hits a choke slam. Abyss goes into the cover on the Rock, the ref counts 1…………2……..Kick out. Abyss can’t believe it, but he realizes what he must do next, and he picks up the Rock, and he goes for for the black hole slam. But the Rock elbows out of it. Abyss stumbles right into the Rock Bottom!. The Rock goes into the cover from there on Abyss, and the ref counts the 1…………..2………….3!]

JR-The Rock out of no where won this match.

Kris Gaffney-Abyss had to try it though, the Rock is not going to put down easily.

(“The Gambler” blasts on the PA system as the Gambler walks to the ring, and he step inside of the ring.)

JR-The Gambler is on his way to Payback to challenge for the television championship.

King-A rematch that has been a long time coming.

Kris Gaffney-Although he won’t be alone, as Christian will be too.

(“Burned” blasts on the PA system as Kane walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Kane is a dangerous, even though his title isn’t on the line, it’s going to be like it is.

King-Well Kane has fought hard, and now he has the world champion on his heels, it would be a mistake to lose here.

Kris Gaffney-Because momentum means EVERYTHING in professional wrestling!

[Kane and the Gambler face off, and they stare each other down, and finally the Gambler throws the first fist to the face, and Kane answers it with another one. The Gambler answers with a head lock, and the Gambler holds the pressure on the Big Red Monster, Kane looks for a way out of the hold, and Kane whips the Gambler off of the ropes. Kane gets up to his feet, and he goes to the outside of the ring, and he climbs up to the top rope. Once he is up to his feet Kane leaps off of the top rope, and he hits a flying top rope clothesline. JR-The Gambler telegraph that one.

JR-The Gambler is in firm control.

King-New might want to rethink he’s strategy.

The Gambler turns around right into the Chokeslam by Kane! Kane goes into the cover on the Gambler, and the ref counts the 1………..2……..3!]

JR-Christian took a beating.

King-But he got what he came for.

(“Voices” blasts on the PA system as Randy Orton walks SLOOOOWY down to the ring.)

King-Make him stop…just stop.

Kris Gaffney-NEVAH!

(“Swagah Like Us” blasts on the PA system as Mike New walks to the ring with the Godfather follows behind.)

JR-This is a clash of the IC and world champion, both men who have a busy week next week.

JR-Randy Orton is feeling it here.

Kris Gaffney-You Mom is feeling it….every night.
