EMF: Saturday Shockwave

(The EMF logo flashes on the screen, as we go into the Saturday Shockwave video.)

(The lights are turned off as pyrotechnics blasts on the stage. Once that ends, the lights turn on as fans wave their signs. Some signs say “YES! YES!”, “Christian = Giant Killer”, and “Apex Legend Killer”.)

JR-Welcome to Saturday Shockwave, I’m good ol’ JR along side Jerry “the King” Lawler, and Kris “KG” Gaffney.

King-Yeah, and after winning the TV championship, Daniel Bryan will face CM Punk.

Kris Gaffney-That should be interesting with all the past history that Bryan and Punk has from their ROH days.

King-What?

Kris Gaffney-Nevermind…

(“Close Your Eyes” blasts on the PA system as Christian walks to the ring doing his usual hoodie entrance.)

JR-Christian despite losing to the Gambler last week sure gave him a message.

King-I think the chair still has that message.

Kris Gaffney-I would hope.

(“Monster” blasts on the PA system as Abyss walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-You got to wonder if Christian is all there to willing go into a match with this Monster.

King-You could think that for everyone who faces Abyss.

[Christian and Abyss lock up, and Christian gets pushed back, and he gets up not believing Abyss power, and Abyss charges at Christian. Christian is able to duck it, and then with Abyss in the corner. Christian hits a few fists to the face, and Abyss pushes down Christian. Christian is down on the mat, and Christian gets up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet. Abyss charges at Christian, but Christian counters with a drop toe hold that sends Abyss falling down to the mat face first, this hurts Abyss a little bit, but it more angers him more than anything, and Abyss gets up to his feet, and he backs into the corner, and Abyss charges at Christian. It’s countered by Christian who dives through the ropes, and then he uses the ropes to sling shots both feet into the face of Abyss. Abyss stumbles backwards, and Christian climbs up to the top rope, and he waits for Abyss to stumble towards where he wants, and he leaps in the air, and he hits a missile drop kick that stumbles backwards. Christian runs to the ropes, and he comes off of the ropes, and Christian hits flying shoulder block that knocks Abyss backwards, and Abyss falls through the ropes, and out on the floor. Abyss falls to his knee, and Christian takes a few moments to rest up, and measure up on Abyss who is slow to get up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet, Christian runs to the ropes, and spring boards over the top rope, and connects with Abyss with a flying vertical cross body block which takes down Abyss. Abyss is down, and Christian picks up Abyss, and throws him into the ring, and Christian goes into the ring, and he claps seemly setting up for the Kill Switch. Abyss stumbles up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet, Christian hooks up Abyss, and he spins him around. Christian is able to push Abyss for the Kill Switch, but Abyss pushes Christian off, Christian bounces off of the ropes. Christian ducks a clothesline by Abyss, and Abyss is able to counter with a diving DDT that plants Abyss. Christian goes into the cover, and the ref counts the 1…………2…………KICK OUT by Abyss with authority.]

JR-It’s going to take a lot more than that to beat the Monster.

King-But with every kick out, he is putting more energy.

Kris Gaffney-Just something you’d have to had been a superstar to know. Everything has a reason.

[Christian yells in frustration and he pulls up Abyss, and he goes for the Kill Switch again, and Abyss pushes Christian off of the Kill Switch once again, and he bounces off of the ropes. Christian leaps off of the ropes, and he goes for a flying cross body block, but it’s caught by Abyss, and Abyss hits a rib breaks, and Abyss brings Christian back up, and he hits a fall away slam which sends Christian flying in the air, and he crashes down hard on the mat. Christian is down on the mat, and Abyss falls to one knee trying to rest up. Once Christian gets up to his feet, Abyss hits a running clothesline that knocks down Christian. Christian gets up fairly quickly right into a few punches to his face. Christian stumbles back, and falls on the ropes, Abyss brings him up, and he hits a big chop to the chest that echo’s through the arena. Abyss brings Christian up to his feet, and he whips him to the ropes. He bounces off of the ropes, and then he bounces off of the ropes, and Abyss lowers his head, and he hits a big back body drop that sends Christian flying through the air. Christian hits into the mat, and Christian slowly gets to his feet, and falls into the corner. Christian turns around into the corner, and Abyss measures up, and he hits a body avalanche that crushes Christian in the corner. Abyss backs out of the corner. Christian stumbles out of the corner, and Abyss picks up Christian and drops him down for the shock treatment! Abyss goes into the cover on Christian, and the ref counts the 1……………2…………KICK OUT by Christian!]

JR-Christian is in trouble here.

King-Isn’t that like what usually happens to him?

Kris Gaffney-Only thing worse that happens to Christian is his luck with women.

[Christian rolls out of the ring, and on to the arena floor. Abyss goes over to him, and grabs him by the hair. But Christian counters with a hang man, and Christian falls back on the floor, and Abyss comes back over, and tries to pull Christian back up, but Christian turns around and reveals he was able to get a chair while Abyss was away from him, and he smashes him on the head. Which gives the DQ win to Abyss.]

JR-Christian decided to end the match.

King-Yeah, but doesn’t look like he’s done right now.

[Christian gets in the ring, and he see’s Abyss is down on the mat after being hit with the chair shot. Christian backs up, and he goes for the spear, and hits it on Abyss!]

JR-Seemly he was here to simply make a statement.

(Christian backs up the ramp talking trash to Abyss, suddenly the Gambler comes from the back without Christian noticing, and he throws Christian into the ring. Christian rolls in, turns to Gambler, and then turns to Abyss right into the Black Hole Slam!

King-Guess Gambler didn’t forget last week.

(Abyss and Gambler have a stare down as Shockwave goes to commercial, and we come back.)

(“Light a Fyre” blasts on the PA system as Fyre walks down to the ring, and slides into the ring.)

JR-Fyre is certainly a good competitor.

King-Although not with the best record.

Kris Gaffney-And not all there.

(“Keys to the City” blasts on the PA system as Trish Stratus walks to the ring, and steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Trish Stratus has had some interesting matches.

King-Well this as many matches we have seen her in, this is a plus.

Kris Gaffney-Guess that’s the only way your going to get real women’s matches.

[Trish Stratus and Fyre lock up, and Fyre is able to put her in an arm bar, but Trish is able to counter this with a quick arm drag release. Fyre goes flying, and Trish watches as Fyre gets up to her feet, and he charges at Trish, Trish counters with another arm drag release. Trish Stratus waits as Fyre gets up, and Trish Stratus goes for the chick kick, but it’s countered by Fyre ducks under, and Trish Stratus gets pushed to the ropes, and Fyre tries to roll up Trish Stratus for a pin, but Trish Stratus is able to counter this by hanging on to the ropes, and she rolls into the middle of the ring, and Trish Stratus waits as Fyre charges at Trish Stratus trying to do some move, what we will never know because Trish Stratus is able to counter whatever it was with a drop toe hold that sends Fyre throat first into the second rope, and Trish Stratus doesn’t waste anytime to put her boot on the back of Fyre, and the ref counts to four as this is a clear choke hold, Trish Stratus backs up as she has her hands up. She then waits as Fyre gets up to her feet, and Trish Stratus hits a few forearm shots to the face of Fyre, and Trish Stratus tries to whip Fyre to the ropes, and Fyre bounces off of the ropes, and Fyre goes for a running clothesline, but it’s ducked under by Trish Stratus with the Ma-Trish, and Trish gets back up to her feet, and Fyre comes over to where Trish is, and Trish counters this with a snapmare. Fyre goes flying into the corner. Trish pulls up Fyre, sets up Fyre, and hits a bulldog from the corner which drives Fyre’s face into the mat.]

JR-Trish Stratus is countering just about everything that Fyre can think of.

King-Fyre doesn’t think of anything other than how to spite Jackie Gayda.

Kris Gaffney-Yeah, Fyre does have a one tracked mind…

[Trish Stratus pushes Fyre on her back, and Trish goes into the cover on Fyre, and the ref counts the 1…………2……..KICK OUT by Fyre. Trish Stratus gets up to her feet, and calls for the Stratusifaction. Fyre stumbles up to her feet, and once she gets up to her feet, she gets kicked to the gut by Trish Stratus, and Trish singles for her finisher, she goes for it, but Fyre pushes Trish off, and Trish falls on her feet, and Fyre sets up Trish Stratus, and she hits a front Russian leg sweep that sends Trish Stratus hard into the mat. Fyre falls down on the mat, and she rolls into the corner. Trish Stratus is slow to get up to her feet, and once she gets up fully, and see’s Fyre in the corner. Fyre is able to counter this with a boot to the face, and Trish Stratus stumbles backwards, and then she charges at Fyre who side steps Trish Stratus, and throws her into the ring post. The camera gets a shot of Trish’s pain as she drops out of the corner, and slowly Trish rises to her feet, and she hits a few fists to the face of Trish Stratus. Trish Stratus is reeling on the ropes, and before the ref can get on Fyre’s case, Fyre whips Trish Stratus to the ropes, and she bounces off of the ropes. Fyre lowers her head, and hits a back body drop which sends Trish Stratus crashing down on the mat. Trish Stratus gets up to her feet, and Fyre waits as Trish Stratus is slow to get up to her feet, and once she does Fyre kicks Trish Stratus in the gut, and she hits a DDT! Fyre goes into the cover on Trish Stratus for the 1…………2……..KICK OUT by Trish Stratus.]

King-Good thing Trish was able to kick out, that would be embarrassing

Kris Gaffney-That’s kind of Fyre’s thing…be it herself or her opponent.

[Trish Stratus is slow to get up to her feet, and Fyre pulls her up, and goes for the Fyrestarter, but Trish Stratus pushes Fyre off. Fyre bounces off of the ropes, and Trish connects with the Chick Kick! Trish Stratus goes into the cover on Fyre, and the ref counts the 1…………2………..3!]

JR-Trish found a way to win there.

King-That was closer than it should have been.

(“Voices” blasts on the PA system as Randy Orton walks slowly to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Orton at First Blood tried to take advantage of a situation, and it back fired.

King-It happens that way sometimes.

Kris Gaffney-King speaks from experience

(“Swagga Like Us” blasts on the PA system as Mike New walks to the ring along with the Godfather, he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Mike New has seemly doing anything to get what he wants.

King-It’s almost a New attitude.

Kris Gaffney-Or is it his old attitude.

King-NEW!

[Mike New and Randy Orton pace around the ring, and then they lock up, and Randy Orton hits a knee lift to the gut. Mike New stumbles backwards, Randy Orton hits a hard fist. Mike New goes down to the mat, and he waits for Mike New to get up to his feet. Randy Orton tries to whip him to the ropes, and Mike New reverse the whip, and Mike New watches as Randy Orton bounces off of the of the ropes, and once he comes off of the ropes Randy Orton leaps in the air for a cross body block, but it’s ducked by Mike New. Randy Orton crashes, and burn on the mat, and Randy Orton rolls under the ring ropes, and Randy Orton is slow to get up to his feet on the apron, and once he gets up to his feet on the apron, and Randy Orton is stunned, so Mike New charges at Randy Orton, and Randy Orton tries to counter with a shoulder to the gut, but Mike New is able to slide under Randy Orton, and Randy Orton doesn’t know where he went. Mike New takes Randy Orton’s base from under him, and then Randy Orotn crashes into the apron. Randy Orton hits his face into the apron, and he is on the mat. Randy Orton gets hit with a few stomps by Mike New. Mike New brings up Randy Orton up to his feet, and he brings him over to the ring steps, and he smashes Randy Orton’s head into the ring steps. Randy Orton is stunned, and Mike New brings him over to the ring, and throws him into the ring, and he climbs up to the apron, and he climbs up to the top rope. Mike New waits as Randy Orton climbs up to his feet, and he turns towards Randy Orton, and Randy Orton leaps off of the top rope, and he hits a flying shoulder block that knocks down Randy Orton. Randy Orton gets up to his feet, and Mike New hits a few fists to the face, and he whips Randy Orton off of the ropes, and Randy Orton bounces off of the ropes, and Mike New goes for a super kick, but it’s ducked under by Randy Orton who continues to the other side of the ring. He bounces off of the ropes on the other side of the ring, and Mike New counters with a spinning double A spine buster. Mike New gets up to his feet, and he runs to the ropes, and he bounces off of the ropes, and leaps in the air and comes down on Randy Orton with a big leg drop across the throat on Randy Orton. Mike New goes into the cover on Rand Orton, and the ref counts the 1………………2……………………KICK OUT by Randy Orton as Mike New looks at the ref not believing that wasn’t three. So Mike New goes into the cover once again, and the ref counts the 1………….2….KICK OUT!]

JR-Randy Orton just barely kicked out.

Kris Gaffney-He’s going to have to think of something else if he’s going to have a chance in this match.

King-Possibly something that doesn’t end him with being hit with a move…

[Mike New gets up to his feet, and he calls for the House of Pain as he goes to the corner, and motions for Randy Orton to get up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet. Randy Orton slowly stumbles up to his feet. Mike New goes for the House of Pain, but Randy Orton ducks it, and Randy Orton waits as Mike New turns around, and Randy Orton goes for the RKO, but Mike New is able to push off Randy Orton. Randy Orton bounces off of the ropes, and as he comes off of the ropes, Mike New goes for a clothesline, but it’s ducked under by Randy Orton who stops, waits as Mike New turns around, and Randy Orton knocks down Mike New with a picture perfect drop kick. This makes Mike New go down to the mat, and Randy Orton takes a few moments to rest up, and once he gets up, he see’s Mike New coming towards him, and Mike New tries to hit a fist to the face of Randy Orton to try to knock him off of the apron. Thinking quickly, Mike New uses this chance to hit a hang man which stumbles backwards Mike New. Randy Orton climbs up to the top rope, and he waits for Mike New stumbles to where Randy Orton wants him to be, and Randy Orton leaps off of the top rope, and catches him with a cross body block. Being that Randy Orton has been hit with quite a few powerful moves, he wasn’t able to hold on to try to attempt the pin, and with the momentum he rolls away from Mike New, and Randy Orton climbs up to his feet. Once he gets up to his feet Mike goes for a clothesline, but Randy Orton ducks it, and Mike New continues to the other side of the ring. He bounces off of the ropes, and Randy Orton hits a scoop power slam. Randy Orton is on his knee’s taking his time to let Mike New to get up to his feet, and once he does. Randy Orton hits a running clothesline that knocks down Mike New. Mike New gets up to his feet. Randy Orton hits a European uppercut that knocks back Mike New. Randy Orton tries to whip Mike New to the ropes, but it’s reversed by Mike New. Randy Orton bounces off of the ropes, Mike New tries to go for the House of Pain, but Randy Orton ducks it, and sets up Mike New, and hits the 3.0 back breaker as Mike New goes down in pain.]

JR-Randy Orton was able to dodge that bullet.

King-I wonder if Orton ever asked Mike Sanders if he could use that move.

Kris Gaffney-Sanders probably answered back with a lawsuit.

[Randy Orton see’s Mike New trying to get up to his feet in the corner. Randy Orton charges at Mike New hitting a back elbow which sends Randy Orton stumbling backwards. Mike New goes out of the ring, and he climbs up to the top rope, and he measures up and he leaps off of the top rope, and goes for a cross body block, and hits it on Randy Orton, but Randy Orton reverses the pin. Away from the ref Orton grabs New’s tight’s for the 1…………..2……………..3!]

JR-Orton won the match, not sure how he could be happy with that win.

King-By knowing that New probably would do the same?

JR-Perhaps…

(“Cult of Personality” blasts on the PA system as CM Punk walks to the ring, doing his usual entrance.)

JR-CM Punk has made his presence felt recently.

King-Well sometimes that’s what you got to do to be noticed.

Kris Gaffney-He could have done worse, that’s for sure.

(“Ultimate Countdown” blasts on the PA system as Daniel Bryan walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Now that Bryan is a champion it’s not going to get any easier.

King-But that seems to be a theme.

Kris Gaffney-Really…I never find anything easy.

[Daniel Bryan and CM Punk stare down each other, and Daniel Bryan hits a kick to the gut that doubles over CM Punk, and Daniel Bryan tries to whip him to the ropes, and CM Punk is able to put on the breaks, and he whips him to the other side of the ring. Daniel Bryan goes over the ropes, and CM Punk goes over to where Daniel Bryan is on the apron, and he is able to counter it with a shoulder block to the gut through the ropes, Daniel Bryan comes into the ring, and CM Punk tries to go for a surprised round house kick to the side of the head on Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan takes a few moments to pump up the crowd, and he goes to the outside of the ring, and he climbs up to the top rope waiting for CM Punk to get up to his feet. Once he is up to his feet, Daniel Bryan steady’s himself up on the top rope. But as CM Punk gets up to his feet, CM Punk dives on the top rope. Daniel Bryan falls on the top rope. CM Punk shakes his head, trying to get rested up, and once he is able to move forward. CM Punk hits a few forearm shots to the face of Daniel Bryan is stunned, and Daniel Bryan seemly stunned enough that CM Punk feels comfortable with going forward with what he is going to do next as CM Punk climbs up to the top rope. He hooks Daniel Bryan, but Daniel Bryan starts to fight out of what seems to be a super plex, and finally Daniel Bryan is able to throw him off of the top rope that sends him crashing down hard.]

JR-Daniel Bryan just might have saved himself.

Kris Gaffney-Well he better do something with it.

King-That doesn’t involve him yelling “YES!!” way too much.

[Daniel Bryan stready’s himself on the top rope, and he waits for CM Punk to get up to his feet, and once he does Daniel Bryan leaps off of the top rope, and he goes for some sort of move. What move we will never know because CM Punk counters it with a kick to the face that knocks down Daniel Bryan. Bryan is down on the mat, and CM Punk falls back on the apron, and he rests up, and Bryan takes a long time to get up to his feet as Punk hit him very hard, just not enough to knock him completely out. Once he gets up to his feet, CM Punk answers with a running clothesline that knocks down Daniel Bryan, Daniel Bryan goes down on the mat. Daniel Bryan gets up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet. CM Punk jumps on the apron, and he waits for Daniel Bryan to turn around, and once he does CM Punk leaps on the top rope using the ropes to sling shot himself on the top rope, and he hits a flying clothesline that knocks down Daniel Bryan. CM Punk watches as Bryan goes into the corner, CM Punk waits as Bryan gets up to his feet in the corner. CM Punk charges in the corner, and CM Punk hits a high knee to the face that stuns Daniel Bryan, hooks Bryan, and takes him out of the corner, and hits a bulldog on Daniel Bryan! Daniel Bryan face gets driven into the mat. CM Punk pushes him on his back, and Punk goes into the cover the ref counts the 1…………………….2………………………………………….KICK OUT by Daniel Bryan!]

JR-Almost three.

King-The TV champion is in trouble here.

[Punk signals for the GTS as Daniel Bryan gets up to his feet, and Bryan slides out of the back, and Daniel Bryan pushes CM Punk to the ropes. CM Punk hits into the ref, and the ref goes down to the mat. Bryan checks on the ref, and CM Punk hits a low blow and a GTS! Being that the ref isn’t getting anytime soon, and as Bryan is down on the mat. CM Punk looks out of the ring, and he see's Randy Orton. Punk says something to Orton, and Orton grabs a chair. Orton throws it to the ring. Punk goes for the chair, but before he can. A foot stomps on it. It's teh Rock, the Rock hits a kick to the face, Punk stumbles right into a Rock Bottom. Both wrestlers are down on the mat. Orton enters the ring, and the Rock throws him out of the ring. The two start to brawl away from the ring. In the ring, Punk is trying to get up to his feet, but clearly is stunned. Bryan not knowing, he picks up Punk, sets him up, and he hits a fisherman suplex for a 1…………..2…………3!]

JR-Bryan did it!

King-Punk tried to take the easy way out, but the Rock had Bryan’s back.

Kris Gaffney-Always good to have.

(The Rock is battling Orton as Bryan tries to shake off the GTS in the ring as Shockwave goes off the air.)
