EMF: Shockwave

(“Born to win” blasts on the PA system as Evan Bourne runs out on the stage, he poses to the crowd as he walks to the ring. He sldies into the ring.)

JR-Bourne is a very exciting wrestler.

King-If you don’t believe that, he’ll show you his highlight reel.

Kris Gaffney-At least he comes prepared.

(“Executioner’s theme” blasts on the PA system as the Executioner walks ot the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-This however should be a great first test for Evan Bourne.

King-If Kevin Bourne is god, does that make Evan Bourne Jesus?

Kris Gaffney-NO!

[Evan Bourne and the Executioner pace around the ring. They lock up. The Executioner is able to push Evan Bourne back clearly being the stronger of the two, and the ref counts, and slowly he backs out of the corner. But the Executioner doesn’t want to give Bourne the time, The Executioner throws a fist to the face, and it’s ducked under by Evan Bourne who is able to use his speed. Now the Executioner is in the corner, and Evan Bourne hits a few fists to the face of the Executioner. He’s stunned, and then Evan Bourne hits a jumping spin kick that connects with the gut that stuns him, and then he whips the Executioner into the corner, but it’s reversed, and Evan Bourne crashes into the corner. The Executioner charges at Evan Bourne, Evan Bourne is able to hit a boot to the face that makes the Executioner to stumble backwards, and Evan Bourne is able to get out of the ring, but the Executioner is able to recover quicker than Bourne is expecting. Bourne is able to counter this with a shoulder block to the gut through the ropes. Executioner stumbles backwards, Evan Bourne measures up on the apron, and he sling shots himself up to the top rope. He leaps from the top rope, and hits a flying forearm shot to the face that knocks him backwards, and Evan Bourne ducks a wild fist by the Executioner. But he is able to duck it fairly easily, and he hits a back kick which makes him double over. Evan Bourne runs to the ropes, and he comes off of the ropes. He goes for a sunset flip. Executioner looks like he might fall over. But he throws a fist to the face of Evan while he’s on the mat. But Evan Bourne moves out of the way. Executioner hurts his hand. Evan Bourne gets up to his feet, and the Executioner is able to charge at Evan Bourne. Bourne is able to counter this with a drop toe hold that sends him flying into the second rope. Evan Bourne runs to the ropes, and he comes off of the ropes. He comes off of the ropes, and he slides out of the ring, and he hits a hard fist to the face that makes the Executioner fall from the second rope, and he holds his face. Evan Bourne takes a moment to acknowledge the crowd as he has a move in mind.]

JR-So far the speed of Bourne has been the thing that put Bourne off balance so far.

King-The Executioner has to think of a way to get the match back into his control.

Kris Gaffney- No idea how he does that…other than stop losing.

[Evan Bourne climbs up to the apron, and up to the top rope, and he waits for the Executioner to come towards him, and then he leaps off of the top rope, and then he measures up as the Executioner stumbles towards him, and Evan Bourne goes for a double knee, but the Executioner is able to block it. He holds him for a few moments, and then he throws him right into a the corner into almost a corner power bomb that makes him bounces as Executioner hits a big boot that sends him flying backwards, and into the corner. Executioner, backs up, and he charges, and he crushes Evan Bourne into a the corner with a body avalaunche. He backs out of the corner, and Evan Bourne stumbles out of the corner. The Executioner is able to lift up Evan Bourne, and he hits a fall away slam that sends Bourne flying. He crashes down on the mat, and The Executioner waits as he gets up to his feet. Once he gets up to his feet. The Exeuctioner hits a few fists to the face of Evan Bourne, and he backs up to the ropes. He whips him to the ropes, and he bounces off of the ropes. The Executioner goes for a big boot to the face, he ducks under, and he continues to the other side of the ring. He bounces off of the ropes, and he comes off of the ropes. The Executioner hits a spinning side slam. The Executioner goes into the cover, and the 1………..2……..KICK OUT by Evan Bourne.]

JR-The Executioner has this match in hand so far.

King-Evan Bourne needs to get this match back into his favor.

Kris Gaffney-So he can actually live up to his theme song.

[Evan Bourne gets picked up by the Executioner, and he tries to military press him over his head. But it’s countered by Bourne raking his eyes. The Executioner drops him, and then the Executioner falls on the ropes. Bourne measures up, and he charges at Executioner. Executioner hits a back body drop, but it’s countered by Evan Bourne lands on the apron. The Executioner turns around right into a kick to the face by Evan Bourne. The Executioner falls down. Evan Bourne goes to the turnbuckle. He climbs up to the top rope, and he leaps off, and hits Air Bourne on Executioner. Evan Bourne goes into the cover on the Executioner for the 1………..2……….3!]

JR-Evan Bourne wins this match with quite the come back.

King-Guess that’s why you never put your guard down.

(The EMF logo flashes on the screen, and we go into the Shockwave video.)

(It ends, we go into the darken arena as pyrotechnics blasts on the stage. The lights turn on as fans scream, and wave their signs. Some signs say “I’m scared”, “Taylor Wilde = The anti-Natasha”, and “Stupid playbook!”)

JR-Welcome to Saturday Shockwave, I’m good ol’ JR, Jim Ross along side Jerry “The King” Lawler, and Kris “KG” Gaffney.

King-We do have a great show for you tonight, headlined by the Extreme Battle Royal.

Kris Gaffney-Every fall is a title reign, it’s a great chance for a lot of young, and up and coming superstars.

(“Rainmaker” blasts on the PA system as West Lee walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Despite the fact he hasn’t had much luck record wise, West Lee has made quite the impact on the EMF.

King-It does take sometime for wrestlers to win the big one.

Kris Gaffney-Guess just a matter of picking your spots.

(“Return of the Mack” blasts on the PA system as Joe Cool walks to the irng, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Joe Cool on the other hand is just starting out his career here in the EMF.

King-He must think that getting a win over someone who was in a world title contenders match is a good way to start his career.

[West Lee and Joe Cool stare down, and finally the two start to throw blows. Joe Cool looks like he’s winning the exchange. West Lee tries to stop them momentum by putting on a head lock. Joe Cool looks for a way out of the hold, and then Joe Cool is able to back West Lee into the ropes. He tries to whip him off of the ropes. He comes off of the ropes, Joe Cool hits a standing drop kick that knocks down West Lee. West Lee gets up to his feet, and he charges at Joe Cool. Joe Cool takes down West Lee with a hip toss that knocks him down on the mat. Joe Cool waits as West Lee is able to get up to his feet, but this time it’s much slower than he had before. West Lee gets knocked down with a hard fist to the face that knocks down West Lee. West Lee this time has to be picked up by Joe Cool. Joe Cool hits a few hard fists to the face that makes him back up to the ropes, and he tries to whip West Lee off of the ropes. But the Iron Maiden is able to reverse the whip. Joe Cool bounces off of the ropes, and West Lee lowers his head, but it’s countered by Joe Cool who hits a kick to the face of West Lee. West Lee stumbles around, and then he throws a wild fist to the face of Joe Cool. Joe Cool is able to duck under, and he sets him up, and drops West Lee for a belly to back suplex that sends West Lee down on the mat. Joe Cool hits a few stomps on the downed West Lee. Joe Cool pulls up West Lee, and he puts him into a vertical suplex, and he hits a snap suplex that sends West Lee on the mat. West Lee rolls around in pain, and then Joe Cool measures up on West Lee. West Lee falls into the corner, and Joe Cool hits a few stomps on West Lee in the corner, and before he get up to his feet. The ref gets on Joe Cool’s ass to get him out of the corner. He does this, and finally this allows West Lee to get up to his feet in the corner. Joe Cool goes back into the attack, and then he hits a few fists to the face, and then he tries to whip West Lee into the corner, and he’s successful in doing so. Joe Cool follows him into the corner. But as West Lee goes into the corner, he uses the corner, and he brings him behind Joe Cool. West Lee runs to the ropes, and he comes off of the ropes. But as West Lee comes off of the ropes, Joe Cool is able to counter with a one man flap jack that sends him down on the mat. He gets up to his feet, and waits as West Lee stumbles around holding his face. He turns around, and Joe Cool picks him up, and he hits a whiplash spine buster that plants him down on the mat. Joe Cool goes into the cover West Lee, the ref counts the 1…………..…..2……………….…KICK OUT by West Lee.]

JR-West Lee is having some difficulty with this new comer.

King-Well, West Lee was in a tough match last week

Kris Gaffney-Yeah, you never know how that’s going to effect a competitor.

[Joe Cool gets up, and questions the count. Finally Joe Cool turns around, and West Lee is on his knee’s. Joe Cool goes for a kick to the side of the head. But it’s ducked under by West Lee, and West Lee is able to push him Joe Cool to the ropes, and he bounces off of the ropes, but he is able to hook the ropes to make sure that he doesn’t go back. Joe Cool runs to where West Lee is. West Lee is counters with a back body drop, West Lee goes over the top rope. But he lands on the apron. Joe Cool turns around, and then West Lee hits a shoulder block that makes him back away. West Lee measures up, and he leaps off of the top rope, and he goes for a missile drop kick that connects on Joe Cool. Cool goes flying. West Lee is able to rest up after being hit with quite a few moves, and the ref starts his standing ten count 1……………2………….3………..4…….both wrestlers start to fight up to their feet………….5…………6………Joe Cool is up to his feet. Seemly he’s a little stunned, but he wants to get the advantage back, he goes for a fist to the face. West Lee is able to duck under, and he runs to the ropes. He comes off of the ropes, and he hits a running forearm shot to the face that makes him fall down on the mat. Joe Cool slowly gets up to his feet. Joe Cool gets picked up by West Lee, and then he drops him for a back breaker. West Lee goes to the corner, and he measures up on Joe Cool. He leaps off of the second rope, and he connects with a flying leg drop on Joe Cool. West Lee goes into the cover, the ref counts the 1……………2………KICK OUT by Joe Cool!]

JR-Almost three.

King-That high risk move was successful, but he couldn’t do a second time!

Kris Gaffney-Yet you do a second rope move.

King-Only when they took my piledriver!

[West Lee waits as Joe Cool stumbles up to his feet, once he gets up to his feet. West Lee goes for the Stunning Cutter. ]

The crowd's attention is drawn to the top of the entrance ramp as The O'Jays "For the Love of Money" booms throughout the arena! Green and gold lighting effects mix with a flurry of pyrotechnics as Michael Mustela, the man internet fanboys refer to as "Mr. Moneymaker", strolls into view with microphone in hand.

MICHAEL MUSTELA: "Sorry to interrupt, fellas but I just need a moment of your time. Actually, not you...but you...West Lee! I have a proposition for you, son. An offer you'd be an idiot to refuse!"

Michael walks a few steps forward, focusing his attention on West Lee. Ignoring any boos from the crowd.

MICHAEL MUSTELA: "Mr. Lee, I see a lot of promise in you. A lot of raw talent. I've been looking around backstage and well, I gotta tell ya...I think you're the future of this company!"

(West Lee is watching at this is going on, but then remembers he has a match to win. West Lee goes for the Stunning Cutter. But it’s countered by Joe Cool who rolls up West Lee for the 1……………2…………….3!]

JR-West Lee took his eye off the ball thanks toe Michael Mustela.

King-Not exactly the best first impression.

(Michael Mustela looks extremely upset, he waves off Joe Cool who is celebrating his win as Shockwave goes to commercial, and we come back.)

(“Get Me Through” blasts on the PA system as Ranger Joe walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Ranger Joe is another man trying to find his way through the EMF.

King-It’ll take time, but with time, this could be a future EMF champion.

Kris Gaffney-Even though I’m sure he’ll have to deal with a lot of Ranger jokes.

(“Little Crazy” blasts on the PA system as Damien walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Damien is a new comer looking to make his name in the EMF.

King-Sure he has some interesting feuds in the future.

[Ranger Joe and Damien pace around the ring. Damien throws a wild fist to the face. Ranger Joe is able to duck under, and he hits few fists to the face of Damien. Damien stumbles backwards. Ranger Joe is trying to get Damien in position where he blocks one of Ranger Joe’s fists, then he hits a head butt. Ranger Joe goes down on the mat. But he’s fairly quick to get up to his feet, and then Ranger Joe gets hit with a few forearm shots to the face, and he whips Damien. Ranger Joe bounces off of the ropes, and he comes off of the ropes Ranger Joe ducks under, and he waits as Damien turn around. Damien gets hit with an inverted atomic drop. Damien is in pain, and then Ranger Joe hits a hard short arm clothesline that knocks down Damien. Ranger Joe waits as Damien gets up to his feet, and Ranger Joe hits a few fists to the face of Damien, and he whips him to the ropes. He bounces off of the ropes, he comes off of the ropes. Ranger Joe hits a hip toss that knocks down Damien. Damien goes down on the mat. Ranger Joe waits as Damien gets up to his feet, and Ranger Joe hits a running clothesline that knocks down Damien. Damien gets up to his feet, and he stumbles back as he gets hit with a standing drop kick that makes Damien fall backwards into the corner. Ranger Joe starts a 10 punch combo 1…………..2…………….3……………...4………….5………….6………..Ranger Joe gets pushed off, and he falls down hard, and he get sup to his feet, and Damien goes for a big boot to the face, and then he ducks under. Damien turns around right into a set up, and he hit a shin breaker that puts down Damien, Ranger Joe grabs his leg, and then he sets him up, and he hits a catapault that sends him flying to the turnbuckle. He hits his face on the top turnbuckle, and Ranger Joe charges at Damien, and he goes for a big splash. But it’s countered by Damien who hits a boot to the face. Damien goes to the outside of the ring, and he climbs up to the top turnbuckle. As Damien is steadying himself, Ranger Joe dives on the ropes, and Damien falls on the top turnbuckle in a lot of pain. Ranger Joe falls to a knee trying to recover.]

JR-It seems that Damien might have moved from his plan.

King-Guess it’s like Aaron Rodgers and the play book.

Kris Gaffney-Never liked that playbook anyways.

[Ranger Joe hits a few hard fists to the face of Damien who is crotched on the top turnbuckle. He climbs up up to the top rope, and he hooks Damien for a super plex, and then he goes for the super plex. But it’s blocked, and Damien goes down with almost a cross body block. As he falls on top of Ranger Joe, Damien rolls off of Ranger Joe unable to keep him for the pin. Damien takes a few moments to rest up, and he goes on one knee. Ranger Joe stumbles up to his feet, and Joe throws a fist to the face, but it’s blocked by Damien. Damien is able to respond with a few fists to the face, and this backs up Ranger Joe. Damien whips him to the ropes, and he bounces off of the ropes. He comes off of the ropes, and Damien lowers his head, and he hits a back body drop that sends him flying through the air, and he crashes down on the mat. Ranger Joe stumbles up to his feet stunned and Damien picks up Ranger Joe, and he hits a body slam. Damien runs to the ropes, and he comes off of the ropes, and he goes for a big leg drop, but Ranger Joe moves out of the way. Ranger Joe gets up as Damien is slow to get up to his feet. Ranger Joe climbs to the second rope, he leaps off of the second rope for a double axe handle. But it’s countered, and Damien hits a belly to belly suplex that plants him on the mat. Damien goes into the cover, and the ref counts the 1………….2……….KICK OUT by Ranger Joe.]

JR-Ranger Joe was not ready to let this match end like that.

King-He’s going to have to think of a way to get the match back in hand though.

[Damien picks up Ranger Joe, Ranger Joe throws his hands off of him, and he kicks him, and he hits a DDT on Damien Ranger Joe goes to the top rope, and he leaps off. He hits the Forrest Fire! Ranger Joe goes into the cover on Damien. The ref counts the 1……………….2………………3!]

JR- What a counter by Ranger Joe for a victory.

("If You Smell..." plays over the PA System as The Rock comes out carrying the Extreme Title to begin the Extreme Battle Royal.)

JR: The Rock has been champion for a long time, but can he survive 60 minutes and beat the all time record?

King: The odds certainly are against him...

Kris: It'll take one hell of an effort.

("Click, Click, Boom" plays as Wasabi comes out to a huge ovation.)

JR: Wasabi is a returning Hall of famer, and he sure is popular.

King: But has he still got it in him to win a championship?

Kris: More to the point, did any one bring a rake?

("Stick To Your Guns" plays and Jordan Caliban is out next.)

JR: One of the up and comers...

King: And he sure had a lot to say heading into this one.

Kris: Well actions speak louder than words...

("Superstar" plays next as Tim Findlay comes out.)

JR: Findlay hasn't been as successful as I'm sure he'd have hoped.

King: He can change all that here...

Kris: Will take a hell of an effort though.

(Finally, "Two Sides of Me" plays, and Khaos makes his way out.)

JR: Another who did a lot of talking during the week.

King: Thankfully, he remembered to wear clothes this time.

Kris: There is a God!

(All 6 men are in the ring as the referee takes the belt from The Rock and holds it up to all 4 sides of the ring and then the bell sounds and 60:00 is displayed on the clock and it begins to tick down. All 6 men stare eachother down for a few moments and then a brawl breaks out. The Rock takes it to Tim Findlay with some hard right hands, whilst Caliban works over Martin Barclay and Khaos gets some good shots in on Wasabi. The Rock throws Findlay into the ropes but Findlay holds onto them. The Rock clotheslines Findlay hard over the top rope and he falls off the apron and crashes to the floor below. Rock follows him out to continue the assault. Meanwhile Barclay is going back and forth with Caliban and Khaos, having taken down Wasabi, slides to the outside too and looks under the ring. He pulls out a kendo stick and flings it into the ring. He then pulls out a trash can and throws that in as well, before finally pulling out a chair. Barclay has slid out of the ring too but his timing is bad because Khaos turns around, sees him, and smashes him hard with the chair. Caliban meanwhile plants Wasabi down with a DDT and then grabs the Kendo stick. The Rock throws Findlay back into the ring where he gets a faceful of stick, and then Wasabi gets up and Caliban hits him in the gut with it and then drops it to suplex Wasabi back down.)

JR: You have to wonder if these men know only The Rock can be pinned...

King: Don't think it really matters yet.

Kris: They just want to inflict pain...

(Caliban measures both Findlay and Wasabi with the Kendo stick but he doesn't notice Khaos has returned to the ring behind him. Khaos grabs Caliban and suplexes him down hard onto the trash can which is hugely dented as a result. Meanwhile on the outside, Rock plants Barclay down with a DDT. Findlay is up and works away on Wasabi with some stomps as Wasabi tries to climb to his feet. Khaos thinks for a moment about getting involved but then looks around, seemingly trying to work out where The Rock is. He spots Rock taking it to Barclay on the outside, and Khaos runs and leaps over the top rope, hitting a suicide dive that connects with The Rock. Rock is down but it also took a lot out of Khaos. Barclay is the main beneficiary of this as he grabs hold of Khaos and hurls him back into the ring. Findlay hits some hard right hands on Khaos while Wasabi has now recovered and takes down Caliban with a suplex. Barclay waits for Rock to stumble up and then from behinds looks to hit the Inferiority Complex, but Rock blocks it and Barclay hits the floor hard. Rock turns around, positions Barclay, and hits him with the Rock Bottom.)

JR: Barclay tried to pick his spot, but it backfired...

King: Right idea though.

Kris: What more do you expect?

(Rock has a few words of trash talk for Barclay but it doesn't last long because now Caliban is on the outside, and he hits some hard right shots on The Rock. He throws Rock into the ring post, and Rock bounces off it, and Caliban grabs him for a roll up and the referee counts 1.... 2.... kick out. Rock looks annoyed at almost being caught, but before he can retaliate, Khaos grabs hold of Rock and hits him with a DDT. Rock is down and Caliban and Khaos begin to trade blows. Meanwhile Wasabi, having seemingly taken down Findlay for the time being, goes to the outside, looks under the ring, and the crowd cheer as he pulls out a rake. He drops it and seems almost afraid of it. He looks under the ring for something else, and pulls out a sledgehammer. He then looks over for where Rock is, and spots him. Khaos and Caliban are too busy fighting it out, with Caliban getting the upper hand and throwing Khaos into the barricade, before choking him against it with his foot. Rock has got up using the ring apron and Wasabi goes over and stands behind him. Rock turns round and Wasabi smashes him in the gut with the Sledgehammer. Rock is doubled over and Wasabi grabs him to hit a suplex, but Rock lands on his feet. Wasabi turns and Rock kicks him in the gut and looks for the Rock bottom. Wasabi elbows him off, and then as Rock stumbles, Wasabi runs away... and ends up stepping on the rake which smacks him in the face. As he turns around stunned, Rock positions him again, and this time Rock Bottom's him onto the nearby announce table, putting him through it.)

JR: You have to feel sorry for our poor Spanish announce team...

King: Shame they're not Italian... otherwise you could say it was a...

Kris: DON'T SAY IT!

(In the ring, Findlay clotheslines Barclay over the top rope and follows him to the outside. Findlay irish whips Barclay away up the ramp and then goes under the ring, and pulls out another chair. He goes up onto the ramp but Barclay has recovered and clotheslines him down, causing Findlay to drop the chair. Barclay grabs hold of him as he stumbles up and hits a Fisherman Suplex down onto the chair. Khaos meanwhile has gotten the better of Caliban, and goes over to where Rock is. Rock and Khaos trade blows and then Khaos whips him into the ring post. Rock stumbles back and Khaos throws him into the ring. Caliban slides into the ring too and runs at Rock but Rock is ready for it and takes Caliban down with a Spinebuster. It's distracted Rock enough though and Khaos picks his moment, spinning Rock around, grabbing him and hitting him with the Khaos Continuum! Rock is down and Khaos goes into the cover and the referee counts 1.... 2..... Suddenly Caliban grabs him, pulls him off,and hurls him out of the ring. Caliban himself steals into the cover for 1.... 2.... KICK OUT! Khaos is back on the apron but Caliban runs and hits a big boot sending him back to the outside. Rock stumbles back to his feet but Caliban has picked up and cracks Rock over the head with the Kendo stick. Rock doesn't even go down but stumbles and Caliban leaps and hits him with the Angle Cutter. Caliban hooks the leg and the referee counts 1..... 2.... 3! Caliban is the champion and there's 38:45 left on the clock.)

JR: Rock lasted over 20 minutes... but his reign falls short of the all time record.

King: I bet he lasts longer than Caliban....

Kris: Well Caliban has a long way to go to walk out with the belt...

(Caliban looks to celebrate but he has no time because Khaos is back now, and he unloads on Caliban with a series of quick kicks. Meanwhile we see Findlay and Barclay brawling on the ramp. Findlay kicks Barclay in the gut and takes him down with a DDT. He picks him up and postions him for the Body Check. As he is positioning him, Wasabi comes out of nowhere and pushes both men, and they go crashing off the ramp and fall through some tables that are below it. Having taken out both men for now, Wasabi heads back to the ring. Caliban throws Khaos towards the outside and he gets tangled up in the ring ropes. Wasabi comes in and Caliban hits some hard shots and then positions him and lays Wasabi out with the Cyclone DDT. Rock comes charging at him but Caliban ducks under his clothesline attempt. Caliban hammers way on The Rock but Khaos is back up. Khaos waits for Caliban to turn round and then runs and knocks him down with the Khaos effect. Rock regains his composure and sees that Caliban is down, and stands over him, and then he kicks Caliban a little to position him. Rock pulls off one of his elbow pads as if he's going for the People's Elbow. Khaos sees this, but decides to let him do it, instead choosing to work away on Wasabi with some hard kicks. Khaos scores a big kick to the head of Wasabi, sending him back down, while Rock finishes his theatrics and nails the People's Elbow on Caliban! Khaos picks his moment and grabs The Rock and Irish Whips him but Rock holds on and counters, whipping Khaos off the ropes and then nailing a Spine Buster. Rock drapes an elbow over Caliban and the referee counts 1..... 2...... 3! The Rock is champion again with 32:17 remaning.)

JR: Closing in on half way, and The Rock regains the title.

King: What did I tell you... how much did I win?

Kris: Not a great deal...

(Rock has no time to celebrate because Khaos is up and works over Rock with some hard right hands. Khaos then switches and begins kicking The Rock instead. Caliban has climbed to his feet and seems pissed that he lost the belt already. He picks up a downed Wasabi but Wasabi surprised him by raking the eyes and then plants him down with a sidewalk slam. Wasabi grabs hold of Khaos from behind and takes him down with a German suplex. Rock is looking a bit dizzy from all the kicks, and Wasabi runs and hits a clothesline on him. Rock springs back to his feet and Wasabi charges at him again but Rock slides out of the ring. Wasabi follows him out and then grabs hold of the sledgehammer which is still on the floor. Caliban slides out of the ring too. Wasabi conceals the hammer and Rock comes towards him and Wasabi blasts Rock in the head with it, taking him down. Wasabi covers Rock for 1.... Caliban pulls him off and throws him into the barricade, which sends Wasabi over the barricade and into the fan area. Rock is down but stirring. Caliban climbs up onto the ring aporn and from there onto the top rope. He measures The Rock but then Khaos pushes him from inside the ring and Caliban crashes and burns to the outside. Khaos is now the only man on his feet.)

JR: Khaos is the only man standing amongst all this....

King: Chaos?

Kris: I think he was looking for a different way to describe it...

(Khaos slides out of the ring and picks up The Rock but Rock springs to life with hard right hands. Rock knocks Khaos to the mat and then stalks him, as if he's thinking Rock Bottom. The clock ticks down.... less than 25 minutes to go now. Khaos stumbles to his feet and Rock nails him with the Rock Bottom! Now The Rock is the only man up though he spots Wasabi trying to climb back over the barricade. Rock laughs, and can't help himself. He picks up the rake and positions it so it's right in the path of where Wasabi will drop down. Wasabi drops down and gets smacked in the face with the rake again, and falls to the floor. This momentarily distracts The Rock who is then spun round and Caliban leaps looking for another Angle Cutter. Rock pushes him off and Caliban lands hard on the floor. Caliban stumbles back up and it's his time to taste a Rock Bottom. Rock slides into the ring to regain his breath, and the clock is still ticking.... less than 20 minutes remain.)

JR: The Rock taking out everyone in sight.

King: And it's smart to stay in the ring, what with all the carnage on the outside...

Kris: No one in this match is going to forget it in a hurry....

(Rock is watching all the sides of the ring and it's Khaos who is first to his feet. Khaos climbs up onto the ring apron and Rock charges at him but Khaos catches him with a hangtime. Khaos climbs into the ring and rolls Rock up for 1...... 2...... kick out. Rock climbs back to his feet and Khaos kicks him in the gut and looks to hit him with the Khaos Continuum again.... but this time Rock pushes him away. Khaos hits the ropes and comes back and Rock looks for the spinebuster but Khaos counters it with a kick to the skull. Rock is stunned and Khaos grabs him and this time is able to nail the Khaos Continuum! Rock is down and seemingly out and Khaos drops into the cover and the refree counts 1...... 2...... NO! From out of no where Martin Barclay has returned and breaks up the fall. Barclay begins to take it to Khaos now and lifts him up and hits him with a facebuster. Khaos goes down and Barclay applies a Sharpshooter to him. Caliban has managed to get to his feet and slides into the ring but Rock blasts him with the Kendo Stick. Caliban goes down and Rock locks him in a Sharpshooter too!)

JR: Interesting tactic... neither of these men is the champion... so them tapping wouldn't do anything.

King: It wears them down a lot though...

Kris: Not to mention taking more time off the clock....

(Caliban and Khaos are both locked in the holds and trying to crawl towards the ropes. Suddenly Findlay is in the ring, and he blasts The Rock in the skull with the Extreme Title belt. Rock goes down hard and Findlay is about to cover him but Barclay breaks his hold on Caliban to prevent it and hammers away on Findlay. Barclay throws Findlay into the ropes and as he comes back he takes him out with The Heightened Enlightenment! Findlay is down and Barclay is considering his next move when Caliban comes from out of no where, takes him down and applies the 2 Tone Pass Out. He tightens the hold and Barclay is screaming out in pain. Rock is starting to climb to his feet but Khaos plants him with a DDT straight down onto the title belt. Khaos covers Rock and the referee counts 1.... 2......... kick out! Khaos can't believe it. The clock ticks down past 10 minutes..)

JR: Not long to go now.

King: Not sure how Khaos hasn't won a fall here....

Kris: Just needs to keep going, and hope time doesn't deny him.

(Caliban breaks his hold on Barclay, who seems like he might have passed out, or been close to it at least. Khaos turns around and Caliban leaps and hits him with the Angle Cutter! He then begins to stalk Rock. He measures Rock but suddenly Findlay comes behind Caliban and takes him down with the Body Check! Findlay begins stalking Rock now but it's Wasabi's turn to slide into the ring and spin Findlay round and plant him with a DDT. Wasabi goes to the top rope and hits Hang Time on Findlay to a major pop from the crowd. This has given Rock too long to recover though and he throws Wasabi into the ropes and plants him down with the SpineBuster. He then removes his other elbow pad, and looks for a 2nd People's Elbow. He nails it on Wasabi. Everyone is down and Rock stands over them as we tick past 5 minutes....)

JR: Mere moments to go...

King: It's now or never if someone wants to beat Rock...

Kris: It's not looking good.

(Rock picks up Wasabi and hurls him hard to the outside. He then picks up Findlay and does the same to him. It looks like Rock is just trying to clear the ring. Next he hurls Barclay to the outside. He picks up Khaos, but Khaos low blows Rock with his foot as Rock lifts him to his feet. Rock is doubled over and Khaos rolls him up quickly for 1..... 2..... kick out. Khaos stalks Rock looking for a finisher when suddenly Caliban is up and he goes to work on Khaos. Rock decides to stay down and catch his breath as these two trade shots back and forth. Caliban kicks him in the gut and hits a quick suplex. Caliban seems torn as to whether to go after Rock or Khaos at this point. Instead he picks up the Kendo stick, and uses it to smack first Rock and then Khaos, then Rock again. Rock goes down but Caliban knows Khaos will stop him. He drops the stick and waits for Khaos to climb to his feet, and then leaps and looks for the Angle Cutter. We enter the final 2 minutes. Khaos counters and pushes Caliban off and Caliban crashes to the mat. He tries to get up again but Khaos measures him and lays Caliban out with the Khaos Continuum. 1 minute remaining. Khaos dumps Caliban to the outside and notices no one else has moved. It's him and Rock now, and Rock is down. Khaos goes over expecting Rock to be slim pickings but Rock kips up to his feet and surprises Khaos, unloading with some right hands. We're under 30 seconds as Rock kicks Khaos in the gut and hits him with the Rock Bottom! He looks around and no one else is near getting back into the ring. 10..... 9..... 8..... the crowd are counting down. Khaos tries to climb to his feet and manages it with 5 seconds to go but he has nothing left and Rock simply clotheslines him down and the buzzer goes off.)

JR: The Rock has done it. He retains the title.

King: But the reign was broken... only for a few minutes... but that's all it takes...

Kris: Twilight's record remains.

(Rock looks drained as he is handed the Extreme Title. A few of his contenders have started to climb to their feet, and look pissed that they missed the opportunity. Shockwave goes off the air with Rock on the turnbuckle raising the Extreme Title.)
