EMF: Shockwave

As we go to a view of the Saturday Night Shockwave stage, a pyro is suddenly spotted coming from above and lands right in the center of the stage, causing an explosion of pyro. The sudden pyro reminds people of a red meteor coming from above to strike the Earth in a very apocalyptic event as the fans are struck absolutely silent in awe of just what is happening. A countdown then starts on the titantron as the fans stare on in awe. 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... "Fivefold - All of Me" begins playing through the arena speakers as the fans still don't know who's coming out since the lights in the arena have shut off since the countdown ended. When the man of the hour comes out, the titantron begins showing video as well, leaving no doubt as to who is coming out. The International Legend has finally made his return to the EMF, after over a year since his last showing in the EMF Universe.

JR: I missed this kid, he had a great showing the previous time that he was here.

Jerry Lawler: The last time that we saw him in an EMF arena was when he lost a steel cage match.

Kris Gaffney: Yeah, and he took some great falls in that match as well.

Russ Massel stands in the center of the EMF stage in a light blue hoodie that reminds the fans of Christian Cage's hoodie. Russ Massel stands still on the center of the stage for a couple of seconds, looking left and right at the fans as they take in the sight of The King of their World. He then begins making his way to the ring, looking at the fans along the way. Once Russ Massel gets close to the ring, he grabs a microphone from the timekeeper and then walks around to the announcer table. Russ Massel outstretches his fist in the air in a salute above JR and Jerry Lawler, who return the gesture in return. This puts a smile on Russ Massel's face who then glares at Kris Gaffney, afterwards proceeding to enter the ring.

Kris Gaffney: Why do I have the feeling that he doesn't like me? Actually, are you guys playing favorites?

JR: No Kris, it's just that I haven't seen one of my good friends in a long while.

Jerry Lawler: And he's a fellow king too, so I have to show him respect because of that.

Kris Gaffney: Why did he glare at me?

Russ Massel: Hey Kris, I trust that we're still being as smartass as ever over there?

The camera focuses on Kris Gaffney, who looks insulted. The focus then goes back on Russ Massel, who's seen smiling at Kris Gaffney's reaction.

Russ Massel: No no, I'm sure that these fans still love hearing your voice every Saturday night on Shockwave. In fact, I would say that you're one of the reasons why these fans keep on coming back to watch this show... excuse my heavy sarcasm. Though I have to admit, I'm pretty sure some of the guys sitting back there in the locker rooms would like you for your intelligent commentary work. Anyways, enough of laying it into Kris Gaffney... I'm sure enough that he gets that kind of treatment enough already as it is. I actually came out here for another issue, one that actually involves you fans, the EMF Universe. You all tweeted me every single day about when it is that I would finally return to the EMF after showing up at random indie shows here and there, not really signing any contracts even though every other wrestling company that ever made it past cult level were trying to sign me to one. I rejected Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Lucha Underground, hell... I even rejected a contract signing to the WWE. My fans were actually getting afraid of me spending the rest of my career squandering my talent away in the independent circuit, jumping from one random wrestling promotion to another.

Russ Massel then steps forward to put his hand on the top blue rope in front of him and begins speaking into the microphone again.

Russ Massel: I've come back, baby!

The EMF Universe explodes with cheers as they are filled with excitement for the possibilities that Russ Massel will now bring to the entire idea that is the EMF. Russ Massel walks around the ring, going to each side just to hear each side of the audience responding to his return with loud cheers. A level of loud cheers that the EMF hasn't heard in a long while, then finally culminating in a "Welcome back" chant.

Russ Massel: Now I'm positive that you all saw my work in other wrestling promotions, as I went to all the parts of the world to further my craft in this ring. Throughout those journeys, I have learned many things that most of the wrestlers back there wouldn't even come close to learning in a thousand years no matter how hard they trained. You may ask me why I went out of my way to learn all of those things when I was already a talented wrestler in this ring? Well, no matter how talented the man seemed... they were never close to beating John Cena for the EMF World Heavyweight Championship when he was the champion. Hell, they even thinned his schedule down to one appearance per month due to their knowledge that nobody in those locker rooms at the time were able to come even this close to defeating him.

Russ Massel holds his index and thumb fingers as wide apart from each other as he can get them.

Russ Massel: After watching every single one of those guys not even come close to getting the job done, I decided to go off to other wrestling promotions and hone my craft there, because I never wanted something like that to ever have the chance of happening again. The way I am now, if nobody else can get the job done... then I'm the right man for the job, about say... 99.9% of the time. Unless that person is God himself, if there even is a God that hasn't abandoned humanity a long time ago, then I will beat your ass back and forth in this ring no matter what kind of condition I'm in. Which is why I am going to give a terminal notice to somebody's championship reign right here tonight, whether it be Marty Scurll for the Television Championship, Dominic Sanders for the Intercontinental Championship, or God save the EMF... Lance Riley for the glorified EMF World Heavyweight Championship, which will be mine sooner or later by the way.

Russ Massel starts making a circle with his index finger to represent time going round and round on a clock, then puts his hand down that's holding the microphone and smiles at the crowd with his brilliant white teeth.

Russ Massel: Oh and for those of you that were living underneath a rock the last time that I was here in the EMF, let me get those brains of yours running to figure out just who in the hell I am. I am the guy that fell in love with a girl with an E bust that worked at a bar that I used to frequent a lot with my mentor, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. That girl actually turned out to be the Goddess of Life, which was unveiled when I lost a match that actually had her on the line. The man that I lost to was none other than somebody being closely managed by The King of Heroes, The Prince of Strong Style, The Yakuza Chief... am I making you guys remember who he is yet? If not, oh well... I guess he wouldn't have as much recognition as I do since I have never left this wrestling world like he has more than a year ago. Hell, I would be shocked if he ever had the balls to walk down that aisle and ever give somebody The Ride To Heaven ever again, considering that he's probably feeling like a complete idiot by now watching me speak right in the center of the ring that he used to love with his gigantic 6'7" heart that he had. You know that you are Alex Kobayashi, watching the man called The International Legend just stand in this ring like he already owns it is probably eating you up inside. Which is why if you really want to show that losing that Hell in a Cell match didn't make you lose your balls, then I dare you to come out right now. You know what, let's sweeten the deal up even more for him, why don't we? Kobayashi, if you can walk your gigantic crippled ass out here right now, then I'll allow you to just give me a Ride To Heaven.

Russ Massel holds his arms out to his side, to show that he will give no resistance against Alex Kobayashi, somebody that is dangerous enough to be alone in the squared circle with at any moment in time. After a couple of minutes of waiting for him to come out, Russ Massel lowers his arms and smiles his brilliant smile once more. All of a sudden, "T.I. - What You Know Instrumental (EMF Version)" begins playing through the PA speakers of the arena, causing Russ Massel to have a shocked expression of doom on his face and the EMF Universe to explode with cheers once again, in anticipation of The Prince of Strong Style.

Jim Ross: One should never speak lightly of a starving sleeping dragon!

Jerry Lawler: Ahhh!

Kris Gaffney: That's what you get for trolling a former troll master.

After waiting for thirty seconds for Alex Kobayashi to make his way onto the EMF stage after over a year of absence ever since earning himself an EMF World Heavyweight Championship match, Russ Massel begins to outstretch his arms with his index and thumb fingers out and his eyes closed while having his head looking upwards in Alex Kobayashi's pose. Russ Massel then opens his eyes to the thunderous jeers coming from around him in the crowd, and he smiles once again. He then raises his thumb as he raises the microphone to speaking leavel.

Russ Massel: See, I knew that you all weren't happy to get me back if you got anybody else back from that bygone era in the EMF, no... you all wanted either Nostalgia or John Cena to grow pairs of balls themselves, or for Kobayashi to find it in himself to get right in the middle of this squared circle. Neither of those things have happened yet, and I'll make damn sure that they never will. If Nostalgia or John Cena ever want to return to the EMF, then I'll slam them in The Massel Judgment from the top of those turnbuckles to put them both back into early retirement. As for Kobayashi... hoo boy, none of you will ever see or hear from The Prince of Strong Style, and the King of the EMF Universe Losers in an EMF ring ever again. Now as for the boys in the back, I want you guys to get the champagne and women ready because I am going to party all night after stepping foot in an EMF ring once again... in front of all of you losers that have dirtied me with your disgusting eyes for the past fifteen minutes. Goodbye and good riddance you floridian idiots who don't even know how to drive, I'm going backstage to get me more pie than any of you will ever see in your lifetimes!

Russ Massel then goes on top of the middle turnbuckles in the lower right corner to the camera and takes his hoodie off, showcasing a t-shirt that says "Insane Training to be the King of Losers 24/7" with the letters "KOMW" in the center of the shirt logo on the bottom. After a couple seconds of looking out into the standing booing crowd, Russ Massel raises his built right arm into the air as he slowly looks upwards with his eyes closed as the EMF arena cameras cut to black.

two huge rotating blue lights rise from the ground and the sound of sirens blasts from the PA system loudly shocking and scaring everyone in the audience like some kind of major incident is about to happen. Blue and White pyrotechnics explode in one loud detonation and “London’s Calling” by The Clash hits the PA system

JR-Sam Fame didn't have much good to say about the JOker.

King-Joke's on him...he used the wrong version of the Joker!

Kris Gaffney-Yeah...sure that matters.

[Sam Fame, and the Joker stand in the middle of the ring. They talk trash as the bell rings. Both wrestlers exchange fists to the face, but neither is moving back. Sam Fame's rage is able to take the advantage, and he hits a hard fist that knocks down The Joker. The Joker gets upt o his feet. Sam Fame grabs the Joker's head, and he brings down his head to his head with a head butt. The Joker stumbles backwards holding his head, he grabs a hold of the ropes. Sam Fame pulls up the Joker, he pushes him to the ropes grabbing his arm, and he whips him to the ropes, or he would if the Joker didn't reverse the whip. Sam Fame goes off of the ropes, he jumps in the air, and the JOker is able to hit a forearm shot to the face that knocks down the Joker. The JOker is down ont he mat, Sam Fame drops a diving double elbows across the face. Sam Fame pulls up the Joker by the hair, he double under hooks him. He lifts him up, and he drops him into a double under hook suplex. From there Sam Fame quickly goes into the cover. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1..........2..the Joker kicks out. Sam Fame doesn't seem too surprised, he hits a few stomps ont he downed Joker, he goes into a chin lock. The ref makes sure that it's not a choke, and he is right there for whatever reason The Joker wants to give it up. This is wearing down the Joker quite considerly, but it's not that effective that the Joker is even considering giving up. The Joker slowly makes his way up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet the Joker hits a few elbows into the gut. Finally the hold is broken. The Joker runs to the ropes as he comes off of the ropes. But as he comes off of the ropes, the Joker is countered into a japanesse arm drag that sends him flying.]

Kris Gaffney-Always seems unlikely.

[The Joker rolls under the ropes, he climbs up to his feet on the apron. The JOker slowly rises up to his feet. The Joker gets hooked, and thrown over into a hip toss, but the Joker is able to land on his feet. He grabs a hold of Sam Fames head, and drops him down into a jaw breaker. The Joker gets up as Sam Fame stumbles around. The JOker hits a kick to the gut. This doubles over Sam Fame. He hooks him into a front face lock, and then he lifts up Sam Fame, and he drops him into an impaler DDT. Sam Fame might be out cold. The Joker decides to attempt to test this theory. He goes into the cover. He hooks the leg. The ref goes into position to make the pin. The ref counts 1...........2...Sam Fame is able to roll the shoulder. The JOker is seated down on the mat, he starts to laugh uncontrollably. He gets up, and he drops a few stomps on the downed Sam Fame still laughing all the while. The ref gets in his face, The Joker looks like he's going to go after him, the ref moves backwards. The Joker laughs at the ref as he turns around, and he plants a kick into the ribs.]

JR-The Joker might be wasting time.

King-Laughing is apart of his thing.

Kris Gaffney-Any one else laughing wouldn't be taking him seriously, but not for the Joker.

[The Joker picks up Sam Fame, Fame struggles he slips out of the back. Fame pushes the Joker forward. The ref dives out of the way. Fame hits a low blow. The Joker is in a lot of pain, the ref didn't see it. Fame sets him up, and drops the Joker for the Right of Passage. Sam Fame goes into the cover on The Joker. The ref counts the 1..............2.............3!!]

JR-Sam Fame gets the victory, he'll be in the extreme contendership match.

("Ultimate Countdown" blasts on the PA system. Daniel Bryan walks out on the stage. He does his "Yes" taunt all the way down to the ring, before entering the ring.)

JR-Daniel Bryan last week defeated Cesaro, and now is looking to defeat Graveler.

King-No one has pinned him, or made him submit in 2017, it shouldn't be easy.

Kris Gaffney-Let's not forget that Daniel Bryan was one of the one's that defeated John Cena during his world title reign.

("Stoke the fire" blasts on the pA system. He steps inside of the ring.)

JR-This is a match of pride, not about the title.

King-Figure that out by yourself?

Kris Gaffney-Or considering there are no weapons going to be used, he just assumed.

[Daniel Bryan and Daryl "Graveler" Prichard stand in the middle of the ring. The crowd builds up for the match between the EMF veteran, and the extreme champion. The bell rings, Daniel Bryan connects with a quick kick to the side of the head. It connects to the side of the head. This dazes the Extreme Champion. Daniel Bryan rusn to the ropes, he comes off of the ropes. Prichard goes for a clothesline. Daniel Bryan continues to the other side of the ring. He bounces off of the ropes. Daniel Bryan jumps in the air, Prichard is able to catch Bryan as he goes for a cross body block. Daryl Prichard holds him for a few moments, and he drops him down ribs first on to his knee. Daniel Bryan rolls away in a lot of pain. He climbs up in the corner. Daryl Prichard see's that he should press the advantage even though he's still somewhat rocked by the kick that Daniel Bryan was able to land in the openning part of this match. Daryl Prichard traps Daniel Bryan in the corner, and he brings his knee up, and he strikes Daniel Bryan into the corner with a knee lifts into the corner. Daniel Bryan brings him out of the corner, Prichard pushes back Daniel Bryan, and he whips him off of hte orpes he comes off of hte ropes. Prichard throws Daniel Bryan in the air, and Daniel Bryan comes down hard on to his stomach. Prichard backs up to the ropes. He comes off of the ropes, he puts his boot into the face of Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan goes down on the mat. ]

JR-That was a hell of a boot.

King-Prichard might want to pin.

Kris Gaffney-Why are we talking about it? Prichard should just do it.

King-You know us talking doesn't stop Prichard in any way...right?

Kris Gaffney-Or does it?....

[Thinking that he might have a chance to pin him. Prichard goes into the cover on Daniel Bryan, hooking the leg. The ref counts 1..........2..........Daniel Bryan is able to roll the shoulder up. Prichard thinks that he can end this match right now. He brings up Bryan into a power bomb position. He lifts him up for a Gravel Bomb. But it's countered with a hurricanarana by Daniel Bryan. Prichard head hits into the top turn buckle. He tursn around, right into a running drop kick into the corner. Daniel Bryan yell for Prichard to stumble towards him. As per usual as this is professinal wrestling, Daryl Prichard listens, and he stumbles out of teh corner. Daniel Bryan puts his head under his arm, and he lifts him up, and slams him backwards into a northern lights suplex with a bridge. The ref counts 1....................2.........Prichard kicks out. Daniel Bryan takes a few moments to rest up, but he watches as Prichard is pulling himself up to his feet. Prichard turns towards Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan kicks Daryl Prichard into the gut, and he hooks him into a vertical suplex position. He lifts him up, and he drops him with a snap suplex. Daniel Bryan gets up to his feet, and he drops a leg drop on Daryl Prichard. Prichard is in a lot of pain, and he rolls to his knee's, and Daniel Bryan is waiting on Prichard to get where he wants him, he kicks him in the ribs (YES!), kicks him in the other ribs (YES!), Kicks him again on the first side of the ribs (YES!) Daniel Bryan backs up, and he connects with a kick to the head, Prichard rolls under the bottom rope. Daniel Bryan goes over to where Prichard is. Prichard rakes the eyes of Bryan. Bryan stumbles, Graveler goes for the Stone Fist. But Bryan ducks under. Prichard turns around, and he gets nailed with the running knee to the face. Graveler falls out of the ring.]

JR-That might have been a lucky break.

King-Bryan has beaten quite a few people with the move.

Kris Gaffney-Despite having no name for it.

[Bryan holds his hands on his head knowing that he might have missed a chance. He goes to the outside of the ring, and he throws Graveler into the ring. He goes into the cover on Graveler. The ref goes into position to make the count. the ref counts 1..............2............Graveler puts his boot on the ropes. Daniel Bryan realizes he needs to go for another one goes to the corner, he does the Yes chant as Graveler is gettting up to his feet. Bryan runs at Graveler, Graveler is able to block it, and stack Bryan on his shoulders, and Graveler puts Bryan into a jack knife cover. 1..............2..............3!!]

JR-With what seemed to be his last grasp, Graveler was able to turn the situation into a quick pinning attempt to get the victory.

King-Hey, whatever wins, right?

("Game On" blasts on the PA system. TOny Ikeda walks out on the stage. He steps inside of the ring.)

JR-There is a lot surrounding this match.

King-Not only did Aleister Black attack Tony's tag team partner, but Tony is in charge of the BWO roster.

Kris Gaffney-Marty Scurll wasn't exactly very thankful of his time down there.

("Aleister Black's theme" blasts ont he PA system. Aleister Black walks out on the stage, he stares down Tony as he walks to the ring, and enters it.)

JR-Aleister is an amazing fighter. We have seen him in the EMF before.

King-Although, I don't think against anyone like Tony.

[Tony Ikeda and Aliester Black lock up. Aliester Black hits a kick to the gut, and he grabs Tony Ikeda's head, and he hits a european upper cut that connects to the head of Tony Ikeda. Tony Ikeda falls down ont he mat, and Aliester Black picks him up by his hair, and he hits a knee shots to the ribs, and he whips him to the ropes he comes off of the ropes. As he comes off of the ropes Aliester Black spins, and he conects. This drives the air out of Tony Ikeda. Aliester Black hooks Tony Ikeda's head, and he drops him for a snap DDT on the canvus. Aliester Black goes into the cover hooking hte leg. The ref slides into pinning position. He makes the count 1....................2.KICK OUT by Tony Ikeda. Aleister Black doesn't argue, he stands back, and he waits for Tony Ikeda to do his next move. Tony Ikeda rolls into the corner, and he climbs up to his feet using the ropes. He gets up to his feet. Aleister Black jumps on the second rope, and he kicks him right into the face. Aleister Black backs up, and then he hooks him, and he drops him for a round house kick that sends Tony Ikeda flying, and he rolls under the ring ropes. Tony Ikeda climbs up to his feet, but clearly he's dazed on his feet. Aleister Black grabs Toyn Ikeda's head, and he hits various head butts to the head of Tony IKeda. The ref makes Aleister Black back off as he's by the ropes.]

JR-Tony Ikeda seems to have no answers for Aleister Black's kicks.

King-So many kicks.

Kris Gaffney-Maybe he should have called X-Pac...he knows something about a lot of kicks!

Frankie stumbles a few steps, Zack Ryder is up to his feet, and by this time Frankie has recovered a little bit, enough for him to be upset, and he goes after Zack Ryder. Zack Ryder ducks under, and as Frankie turns around, Zack Ryder hits a drop kick that makes Frankie Everheart to stumble backwards. Frankie trips over the middle rope, and he falls out of the ring, and on to the apron. Zack Ryder stops, he acknowledges the crowd. He runs, and he hits a running high boot to the side of the face of Frankie Everheart. Frankie falls off of the apron, and he hits the floor . He rolls around ring side. Zack Ryder takes a few moments to take in the reaction of this last move, and he rolls on the mat on the outside of the ring. He comes quickly behind Frankie Everheart. Frankie Everheart is climbing up to his feet. He grabs Frankie by the hair, and he brings him over to the ring steps, and he smashes his head hard into the ring steps. You can hear a loud sound of steel meeting flesh. Frankie Everheart stumbles a few steps. Zack Ryder grabs Frankie Everheart, and he throws him into the ring. Frankie rolls into the middle of the irng. Zack Ryder climbs up to the apron, then up to the top rope. Zack Ryder waits on the top rope as he steady's himself up on the top rope. Frankie Everheart runs towards Zack Ryder, and he hits a double knee jaw breaker. This stumbles back Zack Ryder. Ryder hits the ropes, and Frankie Everheart hooks Zack, and he puts him into a small package. The ref counts the 1...........2...KICK OUT by Zack Ryder. Frankie Everheart shakes his head, mostly trying to shake off some of the moves he's taken. He see's Zack Ryder on his hands, and knee's. He backs up, Zack Ryder throws a wild fist to the face, but it's easily ducked under by Frankie Everheart, he hooks him into a waist lock. He fly's across the ring, and he hits hard into the mat high on his back. He rolls on to his stomach.]

The lights in the arena go out and AFI begins to blast over the speakers as Robbie Payne steps out onto the ramp. After a few seconds he points at the curtain and Tommy Cruise steps out with a sour look on his face. Not looking very impressed he makes his way down the ramp and into the ring. He then climbs the turnbuckle and taunts the crowd before leaping down and waiting for his opponent.

JR-Tommy Cruise soon enough will be in the #1 contendership for the Extreme championship.

King-But tonight he goes one on one with the man who defeated the Extreme Champion.

JR-Logan Riley is looking to keep this streak he's on.

King-He didn't have much respect for Cruise, but he has got to believe that he knows Cruise is dangerous.

Tommy Cruise's head snaps backwards Logan Riley goes behind Tommy Cruise, and he hooks his head, and drops Tommy Cruise head down on the mat with a neck breaker. Tommy Cruise is in a lot of pain.Logan Riley stands over Tommy Cruise, and he hits a few stomps on the downed Tommy Cruise. Logan Riley goes to the legs of Tommy Cruise, he grabs a hold of the leg of Tommy Cruise, and he drops a elbow to the leg. He's in a lot of pain, and then Logan Riley tries to hook Tommy Cruise into a leg lock, but it's pushed off with the free leg, and Lgoan Riley stumbles into teh corner, and he hits into the corner hard. Tommy Cruise climbs up to his feet. He see's Lgoan Riley in the corner. He runs at Logan Riley yelling at him like a mad man, and Logan Riley is able to counter this with a back elbow to the face. Tommy Cruise stumbles backwards a few steps. Logan Riley pulls himself up to the second rope, and then he waits for Tommy Cruise to stumble towards him. Logan Riley hooks Tommy Cruise's head into a front face lock. Logan Riley jumps off of the second rope, he spins around, and he connects with a tornado DDT. This drives the head of Tommy Cruise into the mat, and he falls down on the mat. Logan Riley stands ready to attack as he waits for Tommy Cruise to get up to his feet.]

JR-Logan Riley could pin him, but he decided to attempt to end this match.

[Logan Riley waits for Tommy Cruise to get up to his feet. When he's where he wants, Logan Riley goes for the Final Cut. Tommy Cruise ducks under, and he puts on a sleeper, and drops right down into a sleeper slam. Both wrestlers are down on the mat. The ref does start his standint ten count, but Tommy Cruise is able to throw his arm over the downed Logan Riley to make the pin. The ref goes into pinning position. The ref counts 1..............2.......KICK OUT by Logan Riley as the crowd reacts to that close fall. Tommy Cruise attempts to get up to his feet with the help of the ropes. Logan Riley is up to his feet. Tommy Cruise watches as Logan Riley is coming towards him. Logan RIley counters with a drop toe hold that sends Logan Riley into the second turnbuckle. Tommy Cruise pushes Logan RIley back down, the second rope goes into the throat of Logan Riley. The ref counts to 4, and Tommy Cruise backs up holding up his hands to prove that he's not going to break any rules. Once the ref has gotten off of his back, Tommy Cruise runs to the ropes. He comes off of the ropes.He jumps in the air, and he comes down on the back of Logan Riley. Logan Riley's neck snaps off of the second turnbuckle. He falls down on the mat. Tommy Cruise gets ready as he now has a plan, he pulls up Logan Riley up off of the mat. He sets him up into a vertical suplex position, he lifts him up, and he drops him down on his head for a brain buster. It would seem that Logan Riley might be out. Tommy Cruise goes into the cover on Logan Riley. The ref goes into pinning position. The ref counts 1.............................2...........................Logan Riley is able to roll the shoulder up at the last moment.]

JR-So close!

King-I don't think that's enough JR for Tommy Cruise.

Kris Gaffney-Well, he's going to have to do what it takes to put away Logan Riley, he's finding out it's a lot more difficult than he would have imagined.
