EMF: Survival of the Fittest

(Copyright information is shown as we go into a highlight video of Zack Ryder’s run as world champion ending. Then going on to defeat everyone he faced, including world champion Logan Riley. We get a brief run down of the other matches. Finally the video ends as an introduction screen welcomes us to Survival of the Fittest 2018. The lights are off as pyrotechnics blasts on the stage crashing as they hit each time. The lights turn on, and fans yell, and wave their signs.)

JR-Tonight the EMF comes to you live from Dallas, Texas. Welcome to Survival of the Fittest. Tonight the EMF superstars are gearing up for what is one of the biggest shows of the year. I’m good ol’ JR, Jim Ross joined by Jerry “the King” Lawler, and Kris “KG” Gaffney. King, tonight we have many great matches. This Pay Per View has had a long history of living up to it’s name, and tonight is no different.

King-That’s right JR. Because a few weeks ago Zack Ryder beat Logan Riley, but tonight it’ll be about who is able to survive the longest as Logan puts the world championship on the line in a Last Man Standing match.

Kris Gaffney-Not to mention the traditional women’s elimination match before that match.

JR-All these matches should be great, but let’s start out with the first one…as Wade Wilson puts the TV championship on the line against the #1 contender, Kenny Omegrape.

(“The Duck Song” blasts on the PA system. Kenny Omegrape walks out on the stage. He throws grapes to the audience. He steps inside of the ring, and he waits for his opponent.)

JR-Last week Omegrape was able to defeat Tony Ikeda, and Matt Faris to get this match, but will he able to defeat Wade Wilson for the TV championship.

King-If the Melon Gods feel like it.

Kris Gaffney-Very covenant.

(“X gonna give it to you” blasts on the PA system. Wade Wilson walks out to the ring slowly. He looks under the ring, and he grabs a bag, he throws it into the ring.)

King-What’s that?

Kris Gaffney-Knowing Wade…could be anything.

JR-Let me remind everyone that this is a standard match, not a hardcore match.

[Kenny Omegrape tells the ref to not ring the bell. Kenny Omegrape grabs grapes, and throws them at Wade Wilson. Wade Wilson pulls out a ninja sword, and cuts them up. Everyone in the arena is looking at Wade not knowing where that came from. Wade just throws it away. Kenny Omegrape tries to take advantage of this as he no longer has a ninja sword. Wade Wilson senses it coming, and he ducks under, and he connects with a few fists to the face that stuns Kenny Omegrape. Wade Wilson attempts to whip him to the ropes. But Kenny is able to reverse the whip. He bounces off of the ropes Kenny lowers his head, but Wade Wilson is able to counter by grabbing Kenny’s head, and throws it hard into the mat. Kenny Omegrape bounces up, on his knee’s. Wade Wilson grabs his head, and he drops him down on the mat with a snap DDT on the mat. Kenny Omegrape bounces off of the mat. He pushes him on his back, and he goes into a pin attempt. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1……..2..KICK OUT by Kenny Omegrape. Wade Wilson gets up, and looks annoyed, he hits a few stomps as he curses Kenny Omegrape for kicking out. Wade Wilson picks up Kenny Omegrape, and he brings him over to the corner, he smashes Kenny Omegrape’s head on the top turnbuckle. Wade Wilson backs away, and he runs towards the corner, jumps and connects with a running knee into the corner. He allows to Kenny Omegrape to fall out of the corner. Kenny Omegrape crawls away, Wade Wilson climbs up to the second turnbuckle, he waits for Kenny to crawl to where he wants, he jumps off, and he connects with a missile drop kick that sends Kenny Omegrape to flying. He goes down on the mat. Wade Wilson doesn’t look like he’s going to pin Kenny however.]

JR-What is Wade doing here?

King-Do you really think he knows?

Kris Gaffney-He makes it up as he goes along.

[Wade Wilson waits as Kenny gets up to his feet, and he kicks him in the gut that doubles him over, he hooks him, and attempts to go for the Dead Pool, but Kenny Omegrape spins up, he jumps up, and he connects with the side of the head of Wade Wilson with a jumping ezuguri to the head that echo’s through out the arena. Wade Wilson staggers a few steps, Kenny Omegrape grabs his arm, and he jumps, and drops Wade for an arm breaker. Wade Wilson rolls away holding his arm in pain, Kenny is using this chance to rest up.Wade Wilson is back, and he has recovered before Kenny Omegrape has able to get up to his feet. Wade Wilson tries to bring up Kenny Omegrape up to his feet, Kenny Omegrape grabs his head, and drops him down with a jaw breaker. Wade Wilson stumbles up to his feet. Kenny Omegrape quickly springs up to his feet as Wade Wilson is on the ropes. He runs towards Wade Wilson, and he connects with a running clothesline that sends Wade Wilson tumbling over the top rope, and down on the floor. Omegrape falls to a knee once again recovering, allowing himself to consider his next move as he watches as Wade Wilson tries to get up to his feet, and Kenny gets up as Wade is where he wants him, he runs to the ropes, he jumps on the second rope. Spring boarding on the second rope, he jumps over the top rope, and comes down on Wade Wilson with a vertical spring board cross body block! Both wrestlers are down, Kenny Omegrape is attempting to fight up to his feet.]

JR-Kenny Omegrape connects with a spring board cross body block.

King-Think he wished he kept the ninja swords?

Kris Gaffney-Sure if he could, he would.

[Kenny Omegrape climbs up to the top rope, he waits for Wade Wilson to get up. Kenny gets up to his feet. Kenny goes for a double axe handle, but Wade moves out of the way. Kenny lands on his feet, turns around into a kick to the gut, and Wade plants him down with the Dead Pool. He pushes him on his back. Wade Wilson goes into the cover on Kenny Omegrape. The ref counts 1………..2………..3!!]

JR-Kenny went for a high risk move, and it did not pay off.

King-He should have listen to me.

Kris Gaffney-But you didn’t say anything about that…

King-Oh…didn’t I?

Kris Gaffney-…No you didn’t…

King-………

(The lights go out and lights come on switching from red to green as we hear "Money" by Pink Floyd over the loud speakers. The fans sing along and we hear a mixture of cheers and jeers as "The White Devil" Joey Gambino steps out from the back. He stand at center stage sporting black shades and a black suit. He look out to the crowd and then rips the suit off and tosses his glasses into the crowd. He taps his chest and yells and then begins his walk to the ring. Focused and confident Joey climbs into the ring and feeds off of the fans awaiting the match to begin as he looks at the Hell InA Cell around him with a smile on his face.)

JR-Joey Gambino won the right to be in this match based on his championship consideration win just before he faced Wade Wilson.

King-Well, he’s getting a second chance…he better not blow it.

Kris Gaffney-I’m sure he’s more than confident in his abilities to take care of this situation.

(“The Duck song” blasts on the PA system. Walter Melon walks out on the stage with Jack Heyman. He steps inside of the ring waiting for the bell to ring.)

JR-Walter Melon is hoping to change the fortunes of Melon Club tonight.

King-You know…why does the Melon Club need Jack Heyman? Don’t they have Heymango?

Kris Gaffney-Guess it’s hard work being an advocate .

[Walter Melon and Joey Gambino pace around the ring. Suddenly the Mario Bros music starts to play. They both look confused, suddenly out of no where, Ashley Irvine wearing her Princess Peach outfit jumps through the mat yelling WATERMELON!! She falls back into the hole into the ring. Walter Melon and Gambino look at the Ashley shaped hole in the mat, and she yells PEACHY from under the ring!! Both Walter and Gambino shrug their shoulders. Since this is a hardcore match, and we don’t really need the ring, Walter Melon and Joey Gambino throw fists to the face, and Gambino is able to back up Walter Melon to the ropes, he takes a run at Walter Melon. Walter Melon is able to counter with a back body drop that sends Joey Gambino flying over the top rope, and he crashes down on the mat around ring side. Walter Melon steps through the ropes, and then he waits for Joey Gambino to get up to his feet. Walter Melon drops a double axe handle on the back of Joey Gambino. Gambino falls to a knee. Walter Melon takes a few moments to walk around the ring telling people about eating fruit. Walter Melon rounds the ring side area, just as Joey is getting up to his feet. Joey Gambino is getting up to his feet. Walter Melon picks up Joey Gambino, he goes over to the steel ramp way, and hits a body slam. You can hear the metal sound as metal hits flesh, and Joey Gambino yells in pain.]

JR-Walter Melon and Joey Gambino are taking this match further away from the ring.

King-Gives them time to fix it.

Kris Gaffney-Wow…they work fast…

[Joey Gambino stumbles up the ramp. Walter Melon runs towards him, and Joey Gambino is able to counter with a hip toss that sends Walter Melon back first into the steel. Joey Gambino picks him up, and he sets him up, and he hits a snap suplex that makes him roll back towards the ring. Joey Gambino picks up Walter Melon, and he throws him back into the ring.]

JR-Joey has turned this match around.

King-Just in time too….we just finished fixing the ring.

Kris Gaffney-We must employ Sonic the Hedgehog, or something…

[Joey Gambino steps inside of the ring, and he sets up Walter Melon, and he lifts him up for the Hit. But Walter Melon is able to shift his weight, and he lands behind Joey Gambino, and he hits a reverse sit down face buster. Walter Melon rolls out of the ring, and he climbs up to the top rope. He measures up, and jumps off, and comes down on Joey with the Fruit Smash Splash. Walter goes into the cover on Joey Gambino. The ref goes into position to make the count. The ref counts 1………….2…………..3!!]

JR-Walter Melon was able to counter Joey’s finisher to set up his own to gain the victory.

King-The Melon Gods have been….half good to the Melon Club.

(“Matt Faris’ theme” blasts on the PA system. Matt Faris walks out on the stage, and he walks down to the ring.)

JR-Matt Faris has had an impressive record.

King-He did suffer his first loss last week though.

Kris Gaffney-Still undefeated one on one though.

(“High Volume” blasts on the PA system. Kenny Omega walks out on the stage, and he continues down to the ring. He enters the ring.)

JR-Kenny Omega has quite the reputation all around the world.

King-I’m sure Chris Jericho isn’t a fan.

Kris Gaffney-He’s definitely being added to the list.

[Kenny Omega mocks Matt Faris. Matt Faris runs at Kenny Omega. Omega ducks under, and Matt Faris turns around, and Kenny Omega connects with an ezuguri to the side of the head. Matt Faris rolls around on the mat in pain. Kenny Omega shakes his head at his opponent, and he drops a few stomps on the downed Matt Faris. The ref makes sure that Kenny gives him enough room.]

JR-Kenny looks to be working on the legs.

King-That’s good to know for the people on radio.

Kris Gaffney-At least it’s not on the internet…

[Matt Faris stumbles up, and he falls into the corner. Kenny runs, jumps, but as he attempts to go for a splash. Matt Faris moves out of the way. Kenny Omega hits his head on the top rope. He stumbles backwards, Matt Faris grabs Kenny Omega’s head, and he drops him for a neck breaker. Kenny Omega tries to get up to his feet once again, but Matt Faris kicks him on the side of his head to keep him down as Matt Faris stops a moment to try to rest up as he’s taken quite a few moves up to this point.]

JR-Matt Faris has made a come back.

King-He doesn’t want to get his first one on one loss.

Kris Gaffney-It has to have happen at some point though.

King-That’s thinking like you, no one wants to think like you.

[Kenny Omega is slow to get up to his feet. Matt Faris runs ot the orpes. But Kenny Omega counters with a super kick. Matt Faris goes down on the mat. Kenny picks up Faris, he hooks him, and he drops him for the One Winged Angel. Kenny goes into the cover on Matt Faris. The ref counts 1………….2……….3!!!]

JR-That does it, Kenny Omega wins this match.

(“Game on” blasts on the PA system, Tony Ikeda walks out on the stage. He walks down to the ring. He steps inside of the ring.)

JR-The former World champion is looking to bounce back after not being able to secure a title shot last week.

Kris Gaffney-That’s definitely something…

(“Ultimate Countdown” blasts on the PA system. Daniel Bryan walks out on the stage. He does the “YES” taunt down to the ring as the crowd chants along. He steps inside of the ring.)

JR-As Bryan said, these two have had history as stablemates.

King-It’s always badd when former stablemates fight.

Kris Gaffney-Don’t you mean Baddddddddddddd

King-That too.

[Daniel Bryan and Tony Ikeda stand in the middle of the ring. They talk trash, and they lock up. Daniel Bryan takes down Tony Ikeda. Tony Ikeda stays on the mat for a few moments to take in the effect of that move, he gets up to his feet. He marches right over to Daniel Bryan, he throws a fist to the face. JR-Daniel Bryan has everything going in his favor.

King-I think he’s going to do something foolish next.

Kris Gaffney-Which is King’s code for jumping off of the otp turnbuckle.

King-Unless it’s a fist drop…those are ok…

[Daniel Bryan goes to the outside of the ring, and he climbs up to the top rope. He stands up, and he jumps off of the top rope going for a diving head butt. King-He’s seen it all JR!

"Nice Guy" Buddy Friend saunters down to the ring as "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears plays. Buddy flashes a bright smile and flashes a thumbs up to various members of the crowd.

JR-Since coming to the EMF, Buddy Friend has been very impressive.

King-Guess we’ll see whether or not Daryl is ready for a totally new challenge.

Kris Gaffeny-This time last year it almost seemed like he was unstoppable. I guess we’ll see.

(“Heavy lies the crown” blasts on the PA system. Daryl Prichard walks out with the IC championship. He walks down to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Daryl has had mixed results since returning to the EMF, but he has been able to win when the title has been on the line.

King-Hopefully that keeps up.

Kris Gaffney-We don’t want to reboot Daryl every time something goes wrong.

King-Should have been a friendly neighborhood spider king.

[Nice Guy Buddy Friend and Daryl Prichard go face to face. Daryl being his usual self as he talks trash. Nice Guy has a large smile on his face. This angers Daryl who for some reason decides to leave his feet, and Buddy Friend is able to see this coming, and he drops Prichard for a super kick. JR-Whether Daryl used the rope out of desperation, or not, that was a smart move.

King-He didn’t have to use much energy to break up that pin.

Kris Gaffney-The problem is how much time did he buy…

[Daryl Prichard gets picked up, and put into a piledriver position, but before Buddy Friend can go for his finisher Kill’em with kindness. Daryl Prichard counters with a back body drop that puts him down on the mat. Buddy Friend hits the mat, he gets up. He gets hit with the Stone Fist. Daryl Prichard can’t cover him however, because Buddy Friend is able to roll under the ropes. Daryl Prichard has to fall to one knee to recover as he watches as Buddy Friend stops at the apron, and does not go all the way to the floor. Seemly Daryl has a plan as he slowly starts to rise up to his feet, and he walks towards Buddy Friend on the apron.]

JR-Daryl seems to have a plan.

King-When the belts on the line, things still have worked out well for Daryl.

Kris Gaffney-Guess we’ll see if that trend continues.

[Daryl grabs Buddy Friend, he brings him up to his feet, he hooks him into a vertical suplex position. But he shifts his weight, lands on his feet. Buddy Friend pushes Daryl, Daryl hits the top rope throat first. Daryl Prichard is stunned enough to stumble back towards him, and he kicks him in the gut. King-His Spider King senses sure didn’t see that one coming.

Kris Gaffney-Sure didn’t…

(“Radio” blasts on the PA system. Zack Ryder walks out on the stage. He takes footage for his web show as he continues down to the ringside area.)

JR-Zack Ryder has had quite the July.

King-He started out with a win over Daniel Bryan, and even beat Logan Riley in a non-title match.

Kris Gaffney-The only question is if whether or not he can do it when it really matters, or not.

(“That’s entertainment” blasts on the PA system. Logan Riley walks out of the stage, and holds up the World Championship. He walks down to the ring, and enters the ring.)

JR-Logan Riley feels the weight of being champion, but he seems more ready to carry it.

King-Last month he beat Tony Ikeda for the belt, let’s see if he can beat his tag team partner.

Kris Gaffney-He wants to prove that the non-title win was a fluke. Guess we will see.

[Logan Riley steps inside of the ring after walking around the ring a little bit. He takes a few steps forward towards Zack Ryder. Ryder and Logan stare down, finally the bell rings, and Zack Ryder, and Logan Riley trade fists to the face. Logan Riley quickly jumps out of the ring. Zack Ryder hits a knee lift, and he attempts to whip Logan Riley to the ring steps. Zack Ryder whip attempt gets reversed. Zack Ryder goes crashing hard into the ring steps shoulder first. Logan Riley backs off allowing the ref to count. But while he’s doing that, Logan Riley clears off a table. He grabs a hold of a monitor as Zack Ryder got up about the count of 3. Logan Riley attempts to go for a shot to the head. Zack Ryder ducks under, and he pushes Logan Riley into the barricade. Zack Ryder runs at Logan Riley. Logan Riley is able to counter this with a back body drop that sends Zack Ryder into the crowd. Zack Ryder is slow to get up to his feet as he uses the barricade to prop himself up to his feet. Logan Riley runs at Zack Ryder, and he connects with a running boot to the side of the head. Zack Ryder falls further into the crowd. Logan Riley jumps into the crowd, and doesn’t want to give ZaCk Ryder the chance to rest up. Logan Riley picks him up, and drops him for a spine buster on the cement. He backs off as the starts his standing ten count as this time Logan Riley is going to see whether or not that Zack Ryder can get up from that last move.]

JR-The match might end here.

King-If it doesn’t, Zack should find his alarm clock! That will put it to some good use.

Kris Gaffney-Let’s just all hate on the alarm clock…

[Zack Ryder is struggling up to his feet at 5. Finally Zack Ryder gets up to his feet, and Logan Riley goes back on the attack, he sets him up into a vertical suplex. He tries to lift him up, but it’s countered by Zack Ryder falling behind him. Logan Riley turns around, and he stumbles right into the waiting Zack Ryder who drops him for an inverted Russian leg sweep. Zack Ryder looks towards the announcers table, and he picks up Logan Riley by the hair, he sets him up into a vertical suplex, he lifts him up, and drops Logan Riley with a falcon arrow through the table. The crowd reacts to that last move as Zack Ryder stumbles back at the impact of the move, and then holds himself up with the help of the apron. Logan Riley is in the wreckage not moving so the ref starts his count 1……………2…………….3………………4………..Logan starts to stir……………5……………6……………..7…..Logan tries to fight up to his feet……..8………….9….Logan Riley is able to get up to his feet. Zack Ryder goes over to Logan Riley, and he grabs him by the hair throws him against the ring post. He bounces off of the ring post. He stumbles around the ring side, and Zack Ryder looks under the ring, and he pulls out an alarm clock, he measures up on Logan Riley, and he hits him over the head with the alarm clock. Logan Riley falls down on the ramp way as Zack Ryder seems to want to push the advantage.]

King-Good, I never liked that alarm clock anyways.

Kris Gaffney-This match has a theme, I’m just not sure what it is.

King-Being a fan of the Boogeyman?

[Logan Riley gets grabbed by the hair, and thrown into the Survival of the Fittest stage. Logan bounces off, and he stumbles near the side of the ramp. Zack Ryder measures up, he runs, and he goes for the Rough Ryder, but Logan throws Zack off. Zack is able to stop his momentum before he goes off of the stage. He turns around right into the Final Cut by Logan Riley. Zack Ryder falls off the stage into a well placed table. He crashes through. The ref starts to count as Logan Riley pulls himself up with the help of the Survival of the Fittest stage. While this is going on the ref is up to 6………………7………8……….Zack Ryder attempts to get up….but falls back down….9…..10! Logan wins!]

JR-Logan Riley is the last man standing!

King-Good thing that wasn’t draw.

Kris Gaffney-Those are annoying in these matches.

(Logan feeling the effects of the match falls against the stage as he’s given the World Championship as Survival of the Fittest goes off the air.)
