EMF: Return of an Era

(Copyright information flashes on the screen as we go into a highlight video of how all these matches came together. Once that ends we go into an introduction screen that welcomes us to Return of an Era 2013. The lights are off in the arena as pyrotechnics blasts on the stage, the lights turn on as fans yell, and wave their signs. Some signs say “New fears my elementary class”, “Goat jokes are BAH”, and “I’m Death”.)

JR-Welcome to Return of an Era, I’m good ol’ JR, Jim Ross along side Jerry “the King” Lawler, and Kris “KG” Gaffney.

King-We have quite a show, headlined by John Cena putting the World Title up for grabs against Mike New.

Kris Gaffney-New’s had an interesting few days, that’s for sure.

(“Ultimate Countdown” blasts on the PA system as Daniel Bryan walks to the ring along with Angelina Love. Daniel Bryan stepped inside of the ring.)

JR-Daniel Bryan just ended his self imposed silence.

King-How do you know it was self imposed?

Kris Gaffney-He probably wanted to avoid the goat jokes.

King-That would be BAH.

(“Game On” blasts on the PA system as Tony Ikeda walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Tony Ikeda did have some chemistry with Mike New, maybe we see a new team on the horizon.

King-Well, Daniel Bryan has tagged with the Rock too, so things could be heating up.

Kris Gaffney-Well, first things, first.

(“Hats off the bull” blasts on the PA system as Chad Vargas walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Chad hasn’t been able to find a foot hold since beating Kane.

King-Well maybe this is his match.

Kris Gaffney-Hope it is, he’s reminding me of me…and not in a good way.

[Daniel Bryan, Chad Vargas, and Tony Ikeda start out in the middle of the ring. They pace around the ring, keeping their distance from each other. Tony Ikeda randomly throws a fist to the face of Chad Vargas and Daniel Bryan. The two stumble back, but doesn’t look too happy. Chad Vargas blocks another fist by Tony Ikeda, and, then Chad Vargas hits a knife edge chop to the chest of Tony Ikeda. Tony Ikeda stumbles backwards, and then Daniel Bryan hits a running ezuguri that connects to the side of the head. This makes Tony Ikeda stumble around, and he stumbles right into the waiting Chad Vargas who hits a double leg take down, and then he sets up Tony, and he hits a cataupult that sends Tony Ikeda flying over the top rope to the outside of the ring. Chad Vargas knowing that he probably left himself open for Daniel Bryan quickly doesn’t turn around, and rolls out of the ring, he grabs Tony Ikeda, and he brings him up by the hair. He brings him over to the steel steps, and then he smashes his head into the steel steps. Tony Ikeda is stunned, and then he grabs Tony Ikeda, and Chad Vargas sets up Tony Ikeda for a snap suplex, and then he hits it. Tony Ikeda is pain, and Chad Vargas picks up Tony Ikeda, but Tony Ikeda throws off Chad Vargas, and then Chad Vargas and Tony Ikeda throw fists to the face. But while this is going on, Daniel Bryan who is in the ring is measuring up. Daniel Bryan runs to the ropes, and he comes off of the ropes. He charges at Chad Vargas, and Tony Ikeda, and he hits a suicide dive through the ropes, and then this hits the two wrestlers. Tony Ikeda, and Chad Vargas are down on the mat, and then Daniel Bryan picks up Chad Vargas, and then he throws him into the ring. Daniel Bryan climbs into the ring. Chad tries to get up to his feet, but Daniel Bryan tries to push him back down on the mat,a nd tries to lock into the No Lock, Chad Vargas is able to swing around, and he is able to throw Daniel Bryan into the corner. Chad Vargas charges at Daniel Bryan, and then he hits a back elbow that makes him back away from Chad Vargas. Daniel Bryan goes to the outside of the ring, and then he climbs up to the top rope. He waits for Chad to get where he wants, and he leaps off of the top rope, and he hits a missile drop kick, and then this knocks down Chad Vargas. Chad Vargas is on his knee’s, and Daniel Bryan hits a few kicks on Chad Vargas, and then he steps, back, and he hits a kick to the side of the head of Chad Vargas. Daniel Bryan goes into the cover on Chad Vargas, and the ref counts the 1…………..2…………..Daniel Bryan gets pulled out by Tony Ikeda.]

JR-Tony Ikeda might have saved Chad Vargas.

King-Well that’s the way it is with the triple threat.

Kris Gaffney-Thanks for telling us the obvious.

King-Well JR didn’t do it, I had to pick up the slack.

[Tony Ikeda grabs Daniel Bryan, and he throws him hard into the ring steps. Tony Ikeda slides into the ring, and the he waits for Chad Vargas to get up to his feet. Tony Ikeda runs to the ropes, and then he goes for some move. But Chad Vargas is able to duck under, and he crashes into the mat after an attempted drop kick. Chad Vargas is down on the mat. He hits a few stomps on the downed Chad Vargas, Chad Vargas gets on his knee’s, and then he fires fists to the gut that stun Tony Ikeda, and then this backs him up into the ropes. He gets near the ropes, Chad Vargas is up to his feet. Tony Ikeda charges at Chad Vargas. Chad Vargas gets hit with a boot to the face that knocks down Chad Vargas. Tony Ikeda waits as Chad Vargas gets up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet. Tony Ikeda hits a few forearm shots to the face that makes him back up to the ropes. He tries to whip him to the ropes, but it’s reversed. He bounces off of the ropes, and then Daniel Bryan jumps on the apron, and then he hits a kick to the back of Tony Ikeda. Tony is stunned, and Daniel Bryan hooks Tony Ikeda, and then Chad Vargas charges at Tony Ikeda. Tony Ikeda is able to get out of the grip of Daniel Bryan, and throws Chad into Daniel Bryan. Bryan falls off of the apron. Tony Ikeda measures up as Chad Vargas stumbles towards him, and then he hits a inverted Russian leg sweep that sends Chad Vargas face first into the mat. Tony Ikeda knowing that he has to take advantage of all chances goes into the cover on Chad Vargas as the ref counts the 1………….2…………KICK OUT by Chad Vargas.]

JR-Tony Ikeda has this match in control.

King-Yeah, but this match isn’t like a one on one match, he needs to take advantage now.

[Tony Ikeda waits as Chad Vargas is getting up, and he sets up Chad Vargas, and he hits the full nelson suplex. Chad Vargas is down. He see’s Daniel Bryan getting up to his feet, he charges at Bryan, but Bryan surprises him by low bridging the ropes, this sends him out of the ring. Daniel Bryan climbs on to the top rope, measures up, and he hits a flying head butt. Daniel Bryan goes into the cover, and the ref gets a 1………………2………..3!]

JR-Daniel Bryan got a huge upset.

King-That’s what I meant by striking quickly.

(Daniel Bryan celebrates his win, suddenly the lights go out. You can hear a few things. The lights turn on as Daniel Bryan is down, and now has what seems to be blood poured all over his body.)

JR-What the hell just happened?

King-I don't know.

(“Bad Company” blasts on the PA system as Dewey Pond walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-For Dewey Pond this could be the match that he gets his revenge.

King-Or this might him reliving this bad dream

Kris Gaffney-Your pick.

(“If You Smell” blasts on the PA system as the Rock walks to the ring, and he walks down to the ring.)

JR-The Rock since beating Dewey Pond has had quite the successful EMF career.

King-Dewey probably would love if he could end his momentum here.

Kris Gaffney-Because we all know wrestling is about momentum.

King-In theory it is.

[The Rock is in the isle way as he walks to the ring, Dewey Pond charges at the Rock. Dewey Pond throws a fist to the face of the Rock, and the Rock is able to duck under, and the Rock takes down Dewey Pond with a hard fist to the face of Dewey Pond. Dewey Pond gets up to his feet. Once he gets up to his feet. The Rock hits a double leg take down, and then he hits a kick to the gut that seems low, but its’ not. Anyways Dewey Pond rolls away in pain up the ramp. The Rock grabs Dewey Pond by the hair, and he brings him over to one of the pillers of the stage, and he throws him hard into the steel pillers. Dewey Pond bounces off, and then the rock grabs Dewey Pond’s arm, and pulls him in, and hits a short arm clothesline that knocks down Dewey Pond. Dewey Pond is down on the mat, and the Rock hits a few stomps on the downed Dewey Pond. Dewey Pond goes rolling down the ramp, and then he gets to ring side, and he gets up to his feet. The Rock throws Dewey Pond into the ring, and he rolls into the ring. The bell finally rings, and the Rock stands back as he waits as Dewey Pond stumbles up to his feet. The Rock hits a few fists to the face, this stumbles him backwards, and then the Rock tries to whip him to the ropes. But Dewey Pond is able to reverse it. This sends the Rock into the ropes, he bounces off of the ropes. Dewey Pond lowers his head, but the Rock is able to counter this with a swinging neck breaker Dewey Pond is down on the mat, and the Rock hits a few stomps on the downed Dewey Pond. The Rock decides to set up for the Rock Bottom as Dewey Pond is slow to get up to his feet, and once he turns around. The Rock goes for the Rock Bottom. But Dewey Pond is able to hit a few elbows to break up the Rock Bottom. The Rock stumbles backwards. Dewey Pond charges at The Rock, the Rock is able to counter this by throwing Dewey Pond shoulder first into the ring post, and then Dewey Pond falls out of the corner. The Rock waits as Dewey Pond gets up in the corner. The Rock hits a few fists to the face, and then he stops, and he hits a hard fist to the face. The Rock stops, and then he spits on his fist, and then he hits a hard fist that almost sends Dewey Pond out of the ring. He stumbles out of the corner, and then the Rock hits a drag leg whip, and the Rock goes for a sharpshooter. But Dewey Pond is able to kick him out of the move. The Rock goes into the corner, Dewey Pond gets up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet. Dewey Pond charges at the Rock. The Rock is able to counter this with a hot shot that sends Dewey Pond face first into the top turnbuckle. The Rock waits as Dewey Pond stumbles towards him, the Rock hits a kick to the gut, and he hits a DDT!]

JR-Dewey Pond planted on the mat.

King-Dewey Pond tried to be aggressive, and so far it’s backfired.

Kris Gaffney-Well, sure he had a plan B.

King-Unless this is his plan B, which means he’s screwed.

[Dewey Pond is down on the mat, and the Rock goes into the cover, and the ref counts the 1……………2…………KICK OUT by Dewey Pond. Dewey Pond being the smart veteran that he is rolls out of the ring as the Rock questions the count, and while he’s doing this Dewey Pond grabs a Singapore cane, and conceling it as the Rock goes over to where Dewey Pond is. Dewey Pond turns around, and then he hits a hard shot to the head of the Rock. The Rock rolls around in pain, and then Dewey Pond rolls into the ring with the cane, and then he hits a few cane shots to the ribs of the Rock. Dewey Pond throws the cane away, and Dewey Pond uses this chance to rest up. The Rock is up to his feet, and see’s this Dewey Pond is able to answer this quickly, and he hits an inverted atomic drop that backs up the Rock. The Rock gets hit with a few fists to the face, and then this makes him back up to the ropes. Dewey Pond sends the Rock to the ropes, and he bounces off of the ropes. The Rock bounces off of the ropes, Dewey Pond hits a one man flap jack that sends the Rock to the mat, and then waits as the Rock gets up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet. The Rock blocks a kick to the gut by Dewey Pond. Dewey Ponc ounters this with an ezuguri that connects to the side of the head that makes him stumble around, and then Dewey Pond kicks the Rock in the gut, and he puts him in a vertical suplex, and he lifts him up. Dewey Pond drops the Rock for a brain buster! Dewey Pond goes into the cover on the Rock, the ref counts the 1……………2……….KICK OUT by The Rock.]

JR-Almost three.

King-The Rock almost got beat there.

Kris Gaffney-But seems Dewey Pond can taste redemption.

[Dewey Pond rolls out of the ring, and he grabs a chair, and he rolls back into the ring, and he hits the Rock with the chair. The Rock is down on the mat. Dewey Pond puts the chair down on the mat, and then he hits a few fists to the face. This backs up the Rock and then Dewey Pond whips the Rock off of the ropes, the Rock bounces off of the ropes. Dewey Pond tries to hit the Dew Drop on the chair. But the Rock blocks it, Dewey Pond turns around right into the Rock Bottom on the chair. The Rock goes into the cover on Dewey Pond, the ref counts the 1…………2…………3!]

JR-The Rock wins!

King-An impressive counter by the Rock.

("Superchick" blasts out as Nicole Ikeda makes her way onto the ramp, carrying the 2nd EMF Women's Championship.)

JR: There was some doubt as to the validity of Nicole's championship, but when she retained it at First Blood against all the odds, I think some people were convinced.

King: Still Hemme's belt got most of the attention, but after tonight, there will only be one.

Kris: About time too....

("Generic Theme" plays and Miss Jackie comes out onto the ramp.)

JR: Miss Jackie is the greatest Women's Champion of all time, and it would only be fitting if she was the first to unify these 2 championships.

King: She's going to have to go through 2 tough competitors in order to do that though.

Kris: Well someone is going to win 2 matches in a row.... could easily be her.

(The bell sounds and Nicole Ikeda and Jackie Gayda begin to circle the ring. They lock up in the middle of it and Jackie hits some hard right hands to Nicole, knocking her backwards. Jackie continues to hammer away on her, before grabbing Nicole and hitting a snapmere, which she follows up with a dropkick, taking Nicole down. With Nicole on the mat, Jackie hits a few hard stomps, and then allows Nicole to get up before clotheslining her back down to the mat. Nicole gets up and first a few shots to the head of the challenger but Jackie takes them and then is able to grab hold of Nicole and Irish Whip her into the ropes. As Nicole comes back Jackie plants her down with a big boot. She taunts and then runs off the ropes looking for the Leg Drop of DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! which she nails. She covers Nicole for 1.... 2.... kick out.)

JR: You don't beat a 5 time Women's Champion quite that easily.

Johnny Ace: 5 time.... 5 time.... *collapses*

King: That'll never get old. Unlike Nicole's brother.

(Jackie picks Nicole back up but Nicole fires away on her and then nails a suplex. Nicole takes a few seconds to catch her breath, and then hits a clothesline on Jackie as she stumbles back up. Nicole goes to work, stamping away on her, and then she lifts Jackie back to her feet and plants her down with a neckbreaker. Nicole taunts the crowd, clearly feeling she is gaining momentum. Jackie stumbles back up to her feet and Nicole grabs her arm, measures, and hits the Eat Defeat on Jackie. Jackie goes down and Nicole throws an arm over for 1...... 2...... kick out by Jackie. Nicole looks slightly annoyed, but then calls for her finisher. Nicole climbs to the top rope, and dives, looking for the Ikedasault. Jackie throws the knees up and catches Nicole. Nicole doubles over and Jackie rolls her up for 1.... 2..... kick out.)

JR: The champion was half a second away from retaining the title.

King: And then half a second away from losing it after that counter.

Kris: This really could go either way.

(Nicole and Jackie both get to their feet, and then charge at eachother, both hitting a clothesline which sends both women to the mat. The referee begins to count them both down, but they begin to stir. Nicole is first to her feet. She grabs Jackie who is still getting up and hits a DDT. She then calls for the Faithbreaker. She picks Jackie up and places her in position but Jackie is able to counter with a headscissor. Nicole flies across the ring, and as she stumbles up, Jackie is waiting. Jackie grabs ahold of her and lifts her onto her shoulders. Nicole struggles but Jackie is able to plant her down with the F-Off! Jackie goes into the cover for 1..... 2..... 3!)

JR: And just like that, Nicole's reign comes to an end.

King: Miss Jackie just captured her 9th championship, but will she still have it come the end of the night?

Kris: After Mickie James and Christy Hemme are done beating the hell out of eachother, you have to figure Jackie will be the favorite to do just that.

(As Jackie and Nicole make their way to the back, "Walk, Idiot Walk" plays and Christy Hemme makes her way out carrying the Women's Championship.)

JR: Christy Hemme was the last woman to be champion alone, before Mickie James randomly created a second championship.

King: Tonight Christy has a chance to get revenge on Mickie for that, as well as for several other things.

Kris: Not least of those was her assault on Christy's 'special area' just a month or so ago.

King: I hate when people assault other people's shoulders...

("Dirty Little Girl" plays as Mickie James makes her way onto the ramp.)

JR: Mickie James might be the closest we've ever come to a diva matching Jackie's levels of success, a match between those 2 to settle the undisputed champion would be fitting.

King: Not to mention pretty hot, Jackie doesn't exactly object to Mickie's tactics.

Kris: Although you have to figure she'd rather it was Stephanie McMahon doing those things....

(The bell sounds for the second semi-final to get under way and Mickie and Christy circle the ring. They move into the middle of the ring and lock up, and Christy quickly fires away with right hands to Mickie. She whips Mickie into the ropes, and then clotheslines her to the mat. She goes into a quick cover but doesn't even get a one count. Mickie springs to her feet and Christy hits a quick neckbreaker, and again covers, again not even getting a one count. Mickie looks confused by this. Mickie gets back to her feet and Christy takes her doen with another clothesline. She doesn't cover this time and instead begins to stomp down on her. She lifts Mickie back to her feet and hits a huge slap, and Mickie can't seem to stop the quick momentum. Mickie tries to fire back but Hemme slaps her again, which causes Mickie to spin round a bit. Christy grabs her for a roll up and the referee counts 1.... kick out.)

JR: Christy going for a lot of quick pins... seemingly she knows she has to put Mickie away quickly, or else she'll be easy pickings for Miss Jackie.

(Mickie rolls out of the ring and shakes her head, trying to regroup. Christy slides out of the ring too and fires away with some shots, but Mickie catches her off guard with some hard right hands of her own. Mickie grabs hold of Christy and throws her hard into the barricade. She then clotheslines her into it, and Christy looks hurt. Mickie slides into the ring to break the count and then comes back out. She grabs Christy by the hair, and hurls her into the ring post. Christy hits it hard and Mickie throws her into the ring. Mickie climbs onto the apron and then onto the top turnbuckle. Christy gets to her feet and Mickie jumps, hitting a headscissor that sends Christy across the ring. Christy stumbles back to her feet clearly in pain and Mickie grabs her from behind and hits a suplex into a bridge for 1..... 2..... Christy kicks out. Both women climb back to their feet and Mickie throws Christy into the corner. She heads over to her, and then hits a knife edge chop onto Christy's breast.)

JR: If she was facing Amy Duma, that might be more effective.

King: Still it's going to have a psycological effect on Christy, she hates Mickie touching her like that!

(Mickie hits a few more chops to Christy, and then allows her to stumble out of the corner. Mickie plants her back to the mat with a neckbreaker. She stomps away on Christy, and then steps on her hair, before lifting her up. Christy screams out in pain until the referee gets involved and makes Mickie break the hold. Christy climbs to her feet but Mickie suplexes her back down. Mickie hooks the leg for 1.... Christy kicks out. Mickie lets her stumble up and thn runs at Christy for a clothesline but Christy grabs her and whips her into the ropes. Mickie goes over the top rope and lands on the apron. Christy charges and clotheslines Mickie down to the outside. Christy takes the time to catch her breathe. Mickie slides back into the ring and Christy unloads on her, and then plants Mickie down with a DDT. With her down, Christy goes to the top rope. Mickie climbs to her feet but Christy dives and hits a cross body into a pin for 1..... 2..... Mickie kicks out.)

JR: Christy Hemme close to a win that, in her mind at least, would be the biggest of her career.

King: And her life?

Kris: Goes without saying really....

(Christy picks Mickie up and positions her for the twist of fate. When in position though, Mickie reaches out and applies the vaginal clw to Christy! Christy yells out as Mickie tightens her grip, but Christy is able to kick Mickie a few times and get away from her. As Christy stumbles though, Mickie reacts quickly, and nails a Mick Kick out of no where. Mickie covers and the referee counts 1..... 2........................ NO! Christy kicks out. Mickie looks stunned. She grabs Christy by the hair, and drags her to her feet. When she's in the standing position, Mickie shoves her tongue down her throat, and then connects with the Long Kiss Goodnight! Christy is down and Mickie covers again and the referee counts 1..... 2...... AGAIN Christy kicks out. Mickie begins to bang the mat in frustration and then gets up in the face of the referee. He tells her it was definitely 2, as Christy can barely move. Mickie again picks Christy up but this time Christy is able to hit a few shots to the face, and then position Mickie, and hit the Twist of Fate! Christy covers for 1..... 2............. KICK OUT by Mickie.)

JR: My God... I thought both these women had won it there, but we're still going on.

King: Miss Jackie must be loving this.

Kris: Whoever wins is going to be slim pickings, that's for sure.

(Christy looks slightly annoyed that Mickie kicked out, but remains focused on the match. She climbs to the top rope, and measures Mickie for the FFG. Christy dives off the top rope but Mickie rolls out of the way and Christy crashes and burns. Christy is clearly in pain and Mickie grabs her and plants her down with the Mickie-DT! Mickie goes into the cover and the referee counts 1.... 2............... Christy SOMEHOW gets a foot under the bottom rope. The ref spots it and stops the count. Mickie jumps up and gets right in his face. He points to Christy's foot and Mickie looks livid. She pulls Christy to her feet, and then looks for the Mickie-DT again. Christy hits some hard elbows which cause Mickie to break her grip, and then Christy kicks her in the gut and manages to pull off a quick Twist of Fate. Christy is clearly drained from the match, but she realises Mickie will probably still have enough to kick out. Instead Christy goes to the top rope again. She measures Mickie, and then hits the FFG on her from the top rope. Christy almost collapses into a cover and the referee counts 1.... 2..... 3!)

JR: I don't know what that young lady is made of, but somehow she survived everything Mickie James had to throw at her, and came out with the win.

King: But she doesn't have long to celebrate....

(Sure enough "Generic Theme" blasts out and Miss Jackie comes running down the ramp, holding the title she previously won from Nicole. She slides into the ring and Christy still hasn't made it to her feet. The bell sounds to start the 3rd and final match. Jackie picks Christy up, and just places her on her shoulders. Christy reaches out to try and grab hold of the ropes, but her grip isn't strong enough, and Jackie pulls her away, before hitting the F-Off into the middle of the ring! Jackie covers Christy and the referee counts 1..... 2....... NO! Kick out by Christy.)

JR: WHAT THE HELL?! Nobody kicks out of the F-Off, particularly not after all the damage Mickie James did.

King: That can not have just happened.

Kris: It won't matter... one more and it's done.

(Jackie looks absolutely stunned that there is still life in Hemme. She shrugs, and places Hemme back up on her shoulders. Hemme is somehow still concious, and out of pure desperation, she begins to struggle, and hit some shots at Jackie's head. She happens to catch Jackie pretty hard with one of the elbows, and that gives her just enough room to squirm out of the back. She rolls up Jackie who isn't expecting it and is able to keep Jackie down for 1..... 2...... Jackie kicks out. Hemme, though not expecting to win that easy, looks up to the heavens like her only chance has just passed her by. Jackie is back to her feet and she grabs Hemme who is barely with it and irish whips her into the ropes. As she comes back Jackie looks for a big boot, but Christy predicts it, and is able to slide to the ground to avoid it. She grabs Jackie from behind again and rolls her up again and the referee counts 1.... 2.... again Jackie kicks out. Jackie looks angry at almost being caught twice. She waits for Christy to get up and then hits a huge clothesline which almost takes her head off. She calls for one final F-Off to end the match. She picks Hemme up but Hemme insinctively Irish whips her into a turnbuckle. Jackie stumbles out of the corner and Hemme kicks her in the gut, grabs her, and hits a really fast Twist of Fate. She doesn't even have enough in her to make the cover, and just lays there.)

JR: If only Christy could drape an arm over Jackie she'd have a chance of a huge upset here.

King: I think she's just bought herself a bit of time... she's delaying the inevitable.

(Jackie is first to her feet but is feeling the effects of that move, plus her previous match with Nicole. Hemme is stirring but Jackie picks her up. She looks like she might try for the F-Off again but then she has another idea. She takes Hemme over to the corner, and picks her up, and places her on the top rope. She then climbs the turnbuckle herself, as if she is going to F-Off Hemme off the top rope. As she climbs into position though Hemme hits a few shots and is able to knock Jackie down, and she falls hard into the ring. Hemme takes time to compose herself, and then leaps looking for the FFG. She manages to land it and stay in position, going into the cover as the referee counts 1.... 2........................................ 3!!)

JR: No way! I can not believe what I've just witnessed!

King: She just never gave up, and in the end.... she's done the impossible.

Kris: She's not an underdog anymore...

(Hemme is basically just laying there as the referee brings both championship belts into the ring, and presents them to her. She doesn't even seem to really know where she is but suddenly John Cena is in the ring, and picks her up so she's sitting up. Cena puts an arm around her and is whispering something to her,and then he hands her both of the championship belts. Hemme doesn't even know how to react. Cena helps her to her feet. He raises her arm, as she raises both championships high, and Miss Jackie looks on from outside the ring, looking upset but she applauds Christy. Christy hands the titles back to Cena as seemingly she doesn't even have enough left in the tank to carry them, and then she puts her arms around him. Cena begins to help her to the back as the new Undisputed Women's Champion.)

(“Degenerate’s theme” blasts on the PA system as Degenerate walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-The veteran has been looking to get some momentum, beating Troy Gafgen would be a great start.

King-Yeah, but if it was that easy, he would have done it a long time ago…and Gaffney would have had a somewhat respectable career.

Kris Gaffney-This is true…HEY!

(“Hero” blasts on the PA system as Kevin Bourne walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Does anyone know why Kevin Bourne was invited to this match?

King-Maybe someone needed to do the Gafgen Style dance?

Kris Gaffney-Why didn’t that catch on?

(“Sandpaper” blasts on the PA system as Troy Gafgen walks to the ring with the IC title, from outside of the back out skips AJ Lee as Troy enters the ring.)

JR-Lately Troy’s has been looking pretty good in his matches.

King-Yeah, although Degenerate was able to beat him.

Kris Gaffney- Well, this is his chance to try to get that win back.

[Troy Gafgen and Kevin Bourne stand in the middle of the ring, and they talk trash, and Troy Gafgen pushes Kevin Bourne back, and then he backs up Kevin Bourne goes forward, and Troy Gafgen goes for a fist. But Kevin Bourne is able to duck it, and Kevin Bourne hits a few hard fists to the face that makes him back up to the ropes. He stumbles backwards to the ropes. Troy Gafgen hits a knee into the gut that doubles over Kevin Bourne. Kevin Bourne is stunned. Troy Gafgen tries to whip Kevin Bourne off of the ropes, but it’s reversed. But as Troy Gafgen bounces off of the ropes. Degenerate comes out of no where from the back, and he lowers the ropes, and this sends Troy Gafgen falling hard into the floor. Degenerate on the outside of the ring grabs Troy Gafgen, and throws him hard into the ring steps. Degenerate turns to the ring as Kevin Bourne spring boards off of the ropes, and he leaps over the top rope, and he hits a cross body block. This sends him down on the mat, and Kevin Bourne grabs Degenerate by the hair, and then he throws him into the ring. Kevin Bourne rolls into the ring. Degenerate is in the corner, and then Kevin Bourne hits a few knife edge chops to the chest of Degenerate. Kevin Bourne tries to whip him to the ropes, and then it’s reversed by Degenerate. Kevin Bourne crashes back first into the corner opposite of where he was, he runs to the boot of Kevin Bourne. Degenerate stumbles around stunned, and Kevin Bourne pulls himself up to the second rope. Bourne measures up, and he hits a flying bulldog that plants Degenerate. Kevin Bourne goes into the cover on Degenerate. The ref counts the 1…….2…….Troy Gafgen reaches into the ring, and he pulls Kevin Bourne out of the ring, and he grabs him, and he hits a belly to belly suplex on the floor that splats Kevin Bourne on the mat. But knowing that Degenerate is the one that is far more effected. Troy Gafgen slides into the ring, and then he waits as Degenerate is trying to pull himself up to his feet, and then he gets up to his feet. Degenerate turns around, and Troy Gafgen goes for the Crack of Dawn, but it’s countered by Degenerate throwing Troy Gafgen off, and he crashes into the corner. Degenerate charges at Troy Gafgen for what seems to be a running shoulder block, but it’s moved out of the way. Degenerate shoulder strikes the ring post. He falls out of the corner, and Degenerate gets up in the corner, and Troy Gafgen measures up on Degenerate in the corner, and he hits a body avalanche that connects on Degenerate in the corner. Troy Gafgen backs out of the corner as Degenerate stumbles out of the corner. Troy Gafgen picks up Degenerate, and drives him down on the mat with a side walk slam!]

JR-What a move by the IC champion.

King-Well if he is going to strike now, he probably should now.

Kris Gaffney-Maybe we shouldn’t hold him up by talking.

King-How are we doing that?

[Troy Gafgen goes into the cover on Degenerate, and the ref counts the 1…………2…………..KICK OUT by Degenerate. Troy Gafgen hits a few stomps on the downed Degenerate. Troy Gafgen calls for the end of the match as he waits for Degenerate to get up to his feet. Once he gets up to his feet. Kris Gaffney-Maybe it was.

(OOC-Ending might be changed, I just want to get this up so you know the result.)

JR-This man gains a lot of attention.

King-It’s funny, if Cena went good guy, he’d probably be liked by kids and women. This guy makes enemy’s of 8 year old girls.

JR-Cena wins this match!

King-New tried to get over with, and got countered.

Kris Gaffney-He got the match over, just not the way he wanted.

(Cena celebrates with the World Championship. He gets out of the ring, as Mike New is on his knee’s looking angry. The arena goes dark without warning, and a hush falls over the crowd. Their attention is drawn to the giant screen hanging above the stage entrance, a dim glow illuminating the arena as it suddenly springs to life. The scene that fills it is a dark one. The sound of leaves rustling in the wind fills the crowd's ears, soon joined in harmony by the sound of footsteps on the leaf covered ground. Little more a couple of oak trees can be seen at first, until the foot steps stop that is. A shadowy figured hidden by the night stands alone, staring down at what seems to be a head stone. The air is still chilled, and his breath can be seen floating away as he let's out a long sigh, before squatting down, resting his arms on his knees.

"It's been a long time old friend. Too long to be honest. I never want us to have to meet like this. Never wanted for it to end this way. I hoped, and dreamed that it was all a lie. That it was some bad dream, a horrible nightmare that I might one day wake up from. Unfortunately though, that wasn't the case was it? No, the truth of it all was much more horrible and saddening than that. See, I tried to let it go. I thought it was all over. I tried to walk away. To disappear and leave it all behind. Then I got the phone call. You told me that your father was on his death bed, and that he was asking for me. And as strange as you found his request to be, I found it to be even more so. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what he wanted to see me for. We had never seen eye to eye. We had never really gotten a long at all. I was always the rejected friend that he didn't approve of. That never stopped us though did it? We had some good times old friend. Too bad it had to end this way. You see, I never did tell you what it was he wanted to speak to me about. He swore me to secrecy before I left his hospital room. No long after I turned down the hall he was gone. I felt bad for doing it. I didn't want to it. He begged me to though. He begged me to put him out of his misery. So I pulled out the syringe, and I slid it into his I.V. I stood there and watched as he drew his last breath. Finally at peace with himself for the actions of his past. You see, he told me the truth about that fateful day all those years ago. He came clean to me about everything."

"You probably have no idea what I'm talking about, so I'm going to back up a little bit. I spent all these years trying to find the man responsible. The man who took everything from me. And not that many years ago, I thought I had finally brought an end to my search. I killed so many people who were close to you. And yet you forgave me. You accepted my actions as those of a wounded and desperate man. And all the while, I continued to blame God for his inaction that day. I tried so hard to put the past behind me. I couldn't do it though. I couldn't change who or what I had become. Truth be told, after a long battle with my inner demons, and much deep reflection, I realized that I actually enjoyed who I had become. I actually enjoyed everything I had done. I took pleasure in it. Oh, how it pained me so when he came clean to me that day. He told me everything old friend. He told me details about that day that I had never spoken out loud. He told me things that weren't even in the official police report. And that's why I didn't deny a dying man his last wish. All he asked for was comfort. For the pain to stop. For a little mercy, compassion and forgiveness. So I gave him mercy and compassion. Something which I'm not known for. As for forgiveness though, I tried dear friend. Oh how hard I tried. After I left though, it simply festered inside of me. And I was reminded of a scripture. See, it says in the Bible that the sins of the father are enacted on the son. And that is why we are meeting like this. That is why it had to happen this way. It had to be brought to a closing. And I never could have pulled it off by myself. That's why I put on the elaborate scheme. It all paid off in the end."

"Your father took everything from me. He took my life, my family, my friends. Everything! And now, I have taken everything from you. Seeing him slip away into the sweet nothingness of the after life simply wasn't enough. It wasn't my doing. He was already dying, I simply helped to ease the process at his request. You however, you were living like a king. Completely oblivious to what was truly going on around you. Now, you have nothing but the worms and maggots to keep you company. For that, I truly am sorry. I loved you like a brother. And it honestly pained me to do it. Like a wise man, and old friend once told us though, everything comes full circle."

With that, the figure stands up, and slipping his hands into the pockets of his long jacket, he turns and walks away. Disappearing into the night, his footsteps once again harmoniously falling into sync with the wind in the leaves. As he disappears, and his steps fade away, the head stone grows ever larger, slowly at first, then a bit more quickly, until it completely, and clearly fills the view. Carved into it's face is a name.........Jarred Seth Carthallion

(We go back into the arena which is still dark, suddenly you hear a loud clapping of hands. The lights turn on as on the stage walks Paul Heyman clapping his hands, and smiling.)

JR-Oh my god, it’s Paul Heyman.

King-I thought he was dead!

Kris Gaffney-There is a lot of that going around these days.

(You can mouth him pointing to New trying to get his attention, mouthing the words “better watch out”. New is looking confused, then he senses something, and he walks into the Slain by Angelus Archer. Angelus stares down at the downed Mike New, and he gets handed a microphone.

Angelus: "You should have been more careful with what you wished for. You asked for more competition. You asked for the talent on the roster to step up. You asked where all of the Legends were. You should have kept your fucking mouth shut boy! You have courted Death, and in doing so you have unleashed a new era of blood and violence upon the EMF. And that Mr. New, is no promise, it's no guarantee......It's The Fucking Gospel!"

(Angelus Archer stands in the middle of the ring, stills staring down at Mike New as Return of an Era goes off the air.)
