EMF: Return of an Era

(Copyright information flashes on the screen, and we go into a highlight video of how all these matches came to be. An introduction screen welcomes us to Return of an Era 2012. Pyrotechnics blasts on the specially made stage in the darken arena in Dallas, Texas. The lights turn on, and fans yell, and scream as they wave their signs. “They told me this would be a surprising show…because if it’s not *shakes fist*”, “Taztemania”, and “Tommy Wiseau vs. Myke Hawke, make it happen!”.)

JR-Welcome to Saturday Shockwave, I’m good ol’ “JR” Jim Ross, along side Jerry “The King” Lawler, and Kris “KG” Gaffney.

Kris Gaffney-And we do have quite a show, headlined by Randy Orton defending his title against EMF Hall of Famer Tony Ikeda, and the Rock.

King-Anything can happen in these matches, alliance can be formed, and fall apart very quickly.

(“Close Your Eyes” blasts on the PA system as Christian walks to the ring doing his super Hoodie Master entrance.)

JR-Christian is quite the competitor.

King-But doesn’t always have his mind on the game.

Kris Gaffney-But we can’t blame him for that.

(“Ultimate Countdown” blasts on the PA system as Daniel Bryan comes to the ring along with Angelina Love following behind, he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-A few weeks ago, Angelina Love was able to get her first win in the EMF, I’m sure Bryan would like to follow that up.

King-Sure he would, just don’t hope he doesn’t come up with some annoying catch phrase if he does win.

Kris Gaffney-YEEESSS! YESSSSSS! I want pepperoni on it…

[Christian and Daniel Bryan pace around the ring, and Christian and Daniel Bryan lock up, and Daniel Bryan puts Christian into an arm ringer. Christian is in pain, and Daniel Bryan holds on the pressure, and Christian pushes Daniel Bryan to the ropes, and he whips him off of the ropes. He bounces off of the ropes, and Daniel Bryan knocks down Christian with a shoulder block take down, and Christian gets up to his feet, and Daniel Bryan counters with an arm drag release, Christian gets up to his feet, and Daniel Bryan waits as Christian takes a wild swing as he’s dazed. Daniel Bryan is able to duck this easily, and he hits a belly to back suplex that sends Christian crashing down on the mat. Daniel Bryan gets up to his feet, and he waits as Christian is roll ingo the corner, and he waits as Christian gets up to his feet, and Daniel Bryan closes the gap between Christian, and Daniel Bryan hits a few knife edge chops to the chest of Christian, and the ref warns Daniel Bryan, and Daniel Bryan gives him the space, and he moves back into the corner, and Christian goes into the corner, and Daniel Bryan hits a forearm shot to the face. Daniel Bryan whips Christian to the other side of the ring, but Christian is able to reverse it. Daniel Bryan crashes into the corner hard, Christian can’t really follow up on this quickly, as he’s been hit with a few moves thus far, but when he is he charges into the corner. Daniel Bryan hits a boot to the face. Christian is dazed, and Daniel Bryan climbs up to the second rope, and he waits as Christian stumbles towards him, Daniel Bryan hooks Christian. Daniel Bryan then hits a tornado DDT that plants Christian into the mat, he rolls on his stomach to try to make sure that he makes it as difficult as possible to make a pin.]

JR-Those are veteran instinct’s by Christian.

King-Wish there was one not to lose.

Kris Gaffney-Yeah, that would help a lot.

[Daniel Bryan pushes Christian on his back, and he goes into the cover, and the ref counts the 1…………….2………KICK OUT by Christian. Daniel Bryan doesn’t argue the count, and he instead looks to the turnbuckle as clearly he had the next move in mind in this case. He goes to the outside of the ring on to the apron. He climbs up to the top rope, and he waits for Christian to get up to his feet, and as Christian is up to his feet, Christian dives on the top rope, and this makes Daniel Bryan crotch on the top rope, and then he falls to the mat in pain, and Christian falls down to one knee, as Daniel Bryan is slow to get up to his feet. Once he does, he stumbles right into Christian who sets him up, and he hits an inverted russisan leg sweep that sends Daniel Bryan hard into the mat. Christian takes this chance to rest up, and both wrestlers get up to his feet, Daniel Bryan throws a fist to the face of Christian. Christian runs to the ropes, and he comes off of the ropes, and he hits a flying forearm. Daniel Bryan gets up to his feet, and Christian hits a running clothesline that knocks down Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan gets up to his feet. Christian hits a few fists to the face of Daniel Bryan. Christian whips him to the ropes, and he bounces off of the ropes. Christian lowers his head, and he hits a back body drop that sends Daniel Bryan crashing down on the mat. Christian gets up to his feet after taking a few moments to rest up, and he pulls up Daniel Bryan to his feet, and Daniel Bryan goes for a fist to the face of Christian. Christian is able to duck this, and Christian hooks Daniel Bryan, and Christian hooks him, and then drops him for a diving DDT. Christian goes into the cover, hooking the leg of Daniel Bryan. The ref counts the 1……………………..2…………..KICK OUT by Daniel Bryan. Christian goes on his knee’s, and yells as he’s getting frustrated.]

JR-Christian needs to stop from getting frustrated here.

King-It could cost him.

Kris Gaffney-It hasn’t yet.

[Christian too busy throwing a fit, doesn’t see Daniel Bryan has recovered enough to grab his arm, and surprising him enough to lock on the LeBell lock! Christian fights it…fights it…taps out!]

Kris Gaffney-I stand correct.

JR-Daniel Bryan wins this match.

[In the backstage area Hulk Hogan is walking to the ring seemly ready for his match with Scott Tazte, but out of no where he gets blindsided by Scott Tazte. Scott Tazte measures up on Hulk Hogan who is getting up to his feet, and Scott Tazte hits a clip to the back of the leg. Scott Tazte hits a few elbows to the leg, and Hogan is in a lot of pain, and Scott Tazte yells “whooooo” as he grabs the leg, and locks on the figure four. Hulk Hogan along with screaming in pain, also tells Scott Tazte is the dirtiest player in the game brother, even though that’s someone else. Anyways Hulk looks for a way out of this hold, and with his strength he is able to turn Scott Tazte, Tazte is in pain, but luckily for him. He’s able to let go of the hold, so he’s not in too much trouble, he stumbles up limping a little bit, and Hulk Hogan gets up to his feet, and he charges at Scott Tazte. Scott Tazte side steps Hogan, and he throws Hogan into a bunch of crates, Scott Tazte pull him up from the wreckage, and he sets up Hogan, and he hits a big hip toss that makes Hogan slap on the hard cement back first. Hogan gets up on his hands, and knee’s. Scott Tazte hits a kick to the ribs, and Hulk Hogan rolls away, and Hulk Hogan is down on the mat. Hulk Hogan gets picked up by Scott Tazte, and slammed on the floor. Scott Tazte puts a chair on the face of Hogan. He does the ear taunt Hogan does, and he hits a big leg drop on Hogan.]

JR-What is this?

King-It took you long to say something.

Kris Gaffney-Well we didn’t hear exactly what type of match it would be, just that it was a match.

King-Or the ref’s are just staying out of…which is unusual.

[Scott Tazte goes into the cover, and Tazte looks like he’s going to make the cover even though the ref’s are staying away from this brawl, and he pulls Hulk up like he was going to get the three count. Anyways Scott Tazte hits a few fists to the face of Hogan. He picks up Hogan, and puts him Remedy position. He yells something to the camera, but Hogan pushes Scott Tazte back into a wall, Hogan hits a knee lift, and that doubles over Scott Tazte. To give back what he tried to do the last time to him Scott Tazte gets hooked by Hulk Hogan, and hits a hip toss of his own. Scott Tazte is in a lot of pain, and Hulk Hogan waits as Scott Tazte gets up to his feet, Hogan hits a clothesline that knocks down Scott Tazte. Tazte crawls away with his body shielding what he is going to do, Hogan pulls him up. Tazte turns around, and blasts Hogan with a chair, Tazte throws the chair thinking that he has the upper hand now, but he turns around, Hogan has that Hulking up look on his face, and Tazte hits a few fists to the face, doesn’t effect him. Hogan starts to Hulk up. Tazte hits one other fist to the face, YOOOU! Tazte goes for a fist to the face, and it’s blocked, Tazte gets hit with three big fists to the face, and Hogan grabs the chair, and smashes it over Tazte face. Hogan yells for a ref as he’s about to drop the big leg.]

JR-Hogan has come back here.

King-Is this even a match.

Kris Gaffney-Don’t know, but I don’t think either of them care, they just want bragging rights.

[Ref tells Hogan it’s not an official match, he doesn’t care brother. He goes for a leg drop, but Tazte moves out of the way at the last second. Hogan crashes on the mat, and Hogan gets up to his feet stunned, Scott Tazte hits a low blow. Hulk Hogan is stunned, Scott Tazte hits the Remedy DDT, and he goes over to Hogan, and act like he’s pinning him for the 1……….2……….3! Tazte grabs Hogan, and throws him in a bunch of crates, they fall on Hogan, so all you see is Hogan’s legs. Scott Tazte yells “whooooo!! I DID IT!” Tazte runs away commando style, and jumps into a limo. He pops out of the sun roof, and yells “I’m KING OF THE WORLLLLLD!” as the limo drives off. The camera gets a shot of the carnage, and Hogan still under the crates. The camera zooms out to see a man looking over the scene, and sums this all up.]

(We fade back into the ring, as the match in the back came to an end and the arena transitioned from its normal lighting, to a pitch black. The only hints of light came from the cellular phones of some of the fans and the titantron. The screen was completely white. Suddenly, the words “a prophetic declaration of what must be” appeared on the screen. The words stayed in place for about ten seconds, then the word “FATE” appeared on the screen. The titantron, as well as the lighting in the arena, finally went back to normal and Return of an Era picked up from where we left off.)

(“Bodies” blasts on the PA system as Marina walks to the ring, and she slides into the ring.)

King-I never got why Marina waits out here all the time.

Kris Gaffney-Or why after hours, she goes back before the start of the show.

JR-Well…can’t question her ability.

(“Daffney’s theme” blasts on the PA system as Daffney walks to the ring, and she steps inside of the ring.)

JR-This woman is merciless.

King-Well, it’s because of her Katie Lea is out.

Kris Gaffney-I wonder if she’s her own nurse.

[Marina and Daffney pace around the ring, and then they lock up. Daffney puts Marina on a hammer lock on Marina. Daffney puts on a side headlock on Marina, and Marina looks for a way out of the hold. Marina gets hit with a headlock take down on Marina. Marina looks for a way out of the hold. She tries to find a way out of the hold. She get up to her feet with Daffney holding on to the hold. Marina backs Daffney to the ropes, and Marina whips Daffney into the ropes. Daffney bounces off of the ropes, and Marina gets hit with a shoulder block that knocks down Marina down. Marina gets up to her feet, but she is stunned, and Daffney picks up Marina, and she hits a body slam on Marina. Marina is down on the mat, and once she is convinced that Marina is not going to move. Daffney runs to the ropes, and she bounces off of the ropes, and she comes off of the ropes. Daffney comes down on the face of Marina with a knee drop that makes her in a lot of pain. Marina rolls into the corner, and she tries to get up to her feet. Once she does Daffney goes over to the corner, and she hits a few stomps in the gut that puts Marina in a seated position. Daffney puts her boot on the throat of Marina, the ref counts to 4, and finally Daffney breaks up the hold so she won't get DQed. Daffney backs up, and the ref is warning her. She looks like she is trying to be innocent, but obviously she didn’t care that she broke the rules. She just cares that she got away with it as she plans her next move as Marina starts to get up to her feet.]

JR-Daffney is playing with fire.

King-playing with Fire…sounds like something that John Cena would watch.

Kris Gaffney-Indeed.

[Daffney goes into the corner, and she hits a few fists to the face of Marina, and Marina is reeling in the corner, Daffney whips Marina to the ropes. She crashes into the corner, and Daffney charges into the corner, but Marina moves out of the way, and she crashes right into the ring post. Marina takes a while to rest up, and once Daffney gets out of the corner, and she gets up to her feet, she takes a shot at Marina, but Marina is able to duck it, and she hits a belly to back suplex that puts down Daffney. Marina is down on the mat, and gets up in the corner, and rests up. Daffney is slow to get up to her feet, and once she does, she charges at Marina. Marina counters with a boot to the face. Marina is able to get out of the ring, but Daffney is stumbling towards Marina, Marina counters with a hangman, and Marina climbs up to the apron as Daffney stumbles away from her. With this time, Marina is able to get up to the top rope. Once she gets up to her feet, Marina waits as Daffney is where she wants her to be. Marina leaps off of the top rope, and she connects with a cross body block. The ref counts the 1………..2…………KICK OUT by Daffney. Daffney and Marina are slow to get up to their feet, but they are able to get up to their feet fairly quickly, so it’s not even worth mentioning how far the standing 10 count got. Anyways Marina hits a short arm clotheslines that knocks down Daffney. Marina measures up, and Marina hits a kick to the gut that doubles over Daffney, Marina runs to the ropes, and she comes off of the ropes, and she hits a swinging neck breaker on Daffney which puts her on the mat.]

JR-Good move by Marina.

King-Think she’s about to go seeing star?

[Daffney rolls into the corner, and Marina goes up to the top rope, and goes for the Extreme Seeing Stars, But Daffney moves out of the way, and Marina crashes, and burns. She gets up, right into the waiting Daffney who hits her finisher on Marina! Daffney goes into the cover on Marina, and the ref counts the 1………………2…………..3!]

JR-Daffney wins this match.

Kris Gaffney-That’s why it’s high risk.

(“Veil of Fire” blasts on the PA system as Kane looks more angry than usual as he does his usual fire pyrotechnics.)

JR-Kane is usually not in a good mood.

King-Now he’s just pissed off.

Kris Gaffney-I wonder what would happen if I poke him with a stick.

(“Monster” blasts on the PA system as Abyss walks to the ring. He steps inside of the ring.)

JR-I don’t expect Abyss being in a good mood either.

King-Well he does have Daffney.

Kris Gaffney-I wonder if he got a John Cena special for whenever he was.

[Kane and Abyss face off in the middle of the ring, and both of them don’t look in good moods considering the fact that they were both locked up for a long time, and Kane takes the fist shot to thef ace of Abyss, but Abyss is able to duck it. Abyss hits a few fists to the face of Kane, Kane stumbles back after a few fists to the face. Abyss goes back for an extra hard fist to the face, but it’s countered Kane blocking it, and hitting a big head butt that knocks backwards Abyss. Abyss is stunned, Kane hits a few fists to the face of Abys,s and Kane backs up to the ropes. Kane tries to whip Abyss to the ropes, and Abyss is able to reverse it, and Kane bounces off of the ropes, and Abyss lowers his head for a back body drop, but it’s countered with Kane hitting a kick to the face of Abyss, and Kane falls backwards, and Abyss gets up to his feet, a little stunned, but more angry, he charges Kane. Kane side steps this, and throws him out of the ring, and he crashes into the mat. Kane rolls out of the ring, and he is in the outside arena as Abyss tries to get up to his feet, and Kane hits a kick to the side of the head, which knocks him back down to the mat, Kane grabs a TV camera cord, and starts to choke Abyss, the ref asks Kane to stop, but obviously he doesn’t have to, anyways Kane finally lets go, and Kane takes a few moments to smile he waits as Abyss is getting up to his feet, and he grabs him by the hair, and he throws him hard into the ring steps. Kane looks under the ring, and pulls out a cane…of Singapore no less, and he waits for Abyss to slowly get up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet. Kane hits a cane shot to the back. Abyss turns around in pain, and Kane hits a cane shot to the head which takes down Abyss. Kane takes a few moments to laugh at Abyss who is trying to get up on his hands, and knee’s. He hits a kick to the ribs, and Abyss rolls away from Kane. Kane grabs Abyss by the hair, and he slowly pulls him up to his fee,t and once he’s up to his feet. Kane sets up Abyss into a vertical suplex position, and he lifts him up, and Abyss crashes hard on to the ramp. Abyss gets pulled up to his feet, and he thrown into the ring, and Kane jumps on the apron, and he climbs up to the top rope. He waits for Kane to get up, once he does get up to his feet. Abyss leaps off of the top rope, and connects with a flying clothesline that knocks down Abyss. Kane gets up to his feet, and looks at the downed Abyss, and he holds up his arm as it seems that Kane is getting ready to go for the choke slam as Abyss is slow to get up to his feet.]

JR-Kane smells blood here.

Kris Gaffney-Well, he’s ready to show that he’s the true monster.

King-Didn’t he one time bury his own brother because he wasn’t monster enough?

Kris Gaffney-To which he got buried too.

King-That’s a bitch.

[Kane waits as Abyss gets up to his feet, and Abyss turns around right into the waiting hand of Kane. Abyss responds with a kick to the gut, and Abyss grabs Kane, and he throws him hard into the ring post, and Abyss takes a knee trying to rest up, and once he gets up to his feet, and Kane is stumbling towards him, and Abyss hits a kick into the gut, and he runs to the ropes, and he comes off of the ropes, and he hits a knee lift. Kane goes dwon on the mat, and is fairly quick to get up to his feet, and once he does get up to his feet, he stumbles right into the waiting Abyss who picks up Kane, and hits a back breaker, on Kane, Abyss rolls out of the ring, and he grabs a chain, and he rolls back into the ring. He back into the ring as Kane is trying to get up to his feet, he’s on his knee’s, and Abyss hits a chain shot to the back of Kane. Kane falls down on the mat, and Abyss wraps the chain around his fist, and he waits for Kane to get up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet. Abyss hits a chain shot with the fist, that knocks down Kane, Kane is seemly down for the count, but it seems that Abyss is not done yet with the chain on his fist as he hits a few mounted punches to the face of Kane, Abyss is thrown off, and the camera gets a closer shot of Kane, who is now bleeding. Kane really dazed gets up to his feet, and Abyss picks up Kane, and he hits a shock treatment on Kane. Abyss goes into the cover on Kane. The ref counts the 1…………………2………………..KICK OUT by Kane!]

JR-The wheels are turning in the Monsters head.

King-Does that happen often?

Kris Gaffney-King, he’s insane, not stupid.

[Abyss rolls out of the ring, and he grabs a table from under the ring, and he put it in the ring. After coming into the ring, Abyss sets up the table, and he brings out something else that he got, lighter fluid. He sprays it on the table, and then he brings out some matches. He sets the table on fire, Abyss turns around, and he picks up Kane to his feet. He military presses Kane over his head, but before he can throw Kane into the fire, Kane rakes the eyes. Abyss is blinded, as Kane falls behind Abyss. Abyss turns right into the hand of Kane. Kane sets up, picks up, and drives Abyss right through the flaming table with a choke slam! Kane goes into the cover on Abyss, and the ref counts the 1………………2……………3]

King-This ending was SammyExtreme approved.

Kris Gaffney-Indeed.

JR-Kane wins the match, and sends quite a message.

(Kane has the Extreme championship, he lays it down, and he raises his arms, but stops as a theme song plays. Kane looks confused, suddenly a familiar man walks out on stage.)

(The theme is “Pain” by Three Days Grace.)

JR-Kevin Bourne?!

Kris Gaffney-It must have been three years since we have seen him.

(Kevin Bourne walks out to a loud reception. He steps inside of the ring, and he goes up to Kane, and stares him down. Kane with the title now, tries to hit Bourne with the title. But Bourne ducks it, and hits the Checkmate! Kevin Bourne makes the title signal with his hands. He walks out to his music once again, he back peddles as Kane sits up who doesn’t look happy.)

JR-It looks like it’s only just begun.

Voice: It has been far too long. Earlier, I showed you all the meaning of fate. Now, I show you where it is decided on a regular basis…But later tonight, I shall show you all who decides it…Be ready.

(The screen went dark and just like before, the lights returned to its usual tint and the show continued.)

(“Dirty Window” blasts on the PA system as Dan Godwin walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Dan Godwin….has just lost it.

King-Well he’s the champ…he can do whatever he wants.

Kris Gaffney-One day he’ll have to clean his Dirty Window.

(But before the match starts, the light turn off completely. Suddenly through the darkenness you hear this song below playing.)

(Finally the EMF tron lights up with this image.

(Everything goes back to normal, and Godwin looks very, very confused.)

JR-Tazte is a very...very weird man.

(“The Gambler” blasts on the PA system as the Gambler walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-The Gambler is one of the monsters in the EMF.

Kris Gaffney-Don’t I know it.

[Dan Godwin and the Gambler face off in the middle of the ring, they talk some trash, and finally the Gambler takes a shot at Dan Godwin. Dan Godwin ducks it, and The Gambler turns around right into a few knife edge chops to the chest of the Gambler. The Gambler stumbles backwards. The Gambler is able to throw another fist to the face, and Dan Godwin ducks under that one too, and he waits until the Gambler turns around, and once he does Dan Godwin is able to hit a drop kick that knocks back the Gambler back. The Gambler is stuck in the ropes. Dan Godwin hits a few fists to the face, and once he is done, he backs out of the ropes letting the ref take the Gambler out of the ropes, and once he is taken out of the ropes. The Gambler falls on the ground, he goes into the corner, and the Gambler goes into the corner. The X-Factor waits as the Gambler is slow to get up to his feet. Once he gets up to his feet. Once he gets up to his feet, and Dan Godwin tries to whip the Gambler to the other side of the ring, and he is successful in doing so. He crashes into the corner, and Dan Godwin charges at the Gambler, and the Gambler is able to counter with a back body drop, but it’s countered by Dan Godwin landing on the apron, and the Gambler turns around right into a hang man. Dan Godwin climbs up on the apron, and he climbs up to the top rope, and once he gets to where he wants the Gambler. Dan Godwin leaps off of the top rope, and he connects with a missile drop kick that knocks down the Gambler. Dan Godwin pumps up the crowd as he finally got the big man the Gambler off his feet. The Gambler is rising up, and he hits a few fists to the face, and he tries to whip the Gambler off of the ropes, but the Gambler is able to reverse the whip. Dan Godwin bounces off of the ropes, and he comes off of the ropes, and the Gambler oges for a clothesline. Dan Godwin bounces off of the ropes, and he bounces off of the other side of the ring. He leaps in the air, and hits a flying forearm shot to the face. The Gambler goes down to the mat, and Dan Godwin tells some of the crowd to shut up, because that was different. Dan Godwin goes to the outside of the ring, and he waits for the Gambler to get up to his feet. Once he gets up to his feet, he hits a flying double axe handle that connects on the Gambler. The Gambler stumble around, and Dan Godwin shakes his head not believing what it’s taking to get the Gambler down to the mat. Dan Godwin hits a kick to the gut that doubles him over, Dan Godwin hits a double arm DDT that plants the Gambler into the mat.]

JR-The Gambler is showing why on any night he’s not an easy match.

King-Gaffney knows this.

Kris Gaffney-Boy do I…guess a few karate classes just doesn’t do it.

[Dan Godwin pushes the Gambler on his back, and Dan Godwin goes into the cover on the Gambler, and the ref counts the 1……………2…………….KICK OUT the Gambler with a authority. Dan Godwin looks on in amazement, and the Gambler tries to get up to his feet, and Dan Godwin hits a low drop kick that knocks him down on the mat. Dan Godwin goes to the outside, and he climbs up to the top rope, and he waits on the top rope. He leaps off of the top rope for what seems to be another double axe handle as the Gambler gets up to his feet, but the Gambler catches the X-Factor into a bear hug. The Gambler holds him in the move, and Dan Godwin tries to get out of the hold, but the Gambler charges into the corner, and rams Dan Godwin’s back into the corner. Dan Godwin slumps into the corner, and the Gambler in the corner, takes a few moments to shake off what he’s taken as far as moves go, and he shakes off some of it, but he can’t take too much time to rest up as he knows that he has Dan Godwin only somewhat stunned, and he hits a few shoulder blocks into the gut that stun Dan Godwin. The Gambler whips Dan Godwin into the corner, and he crashes into the corner, and Dan Godwin stumbles out of the corner, and the Gambler sets him up, and hits a exploder t-bone suplex. Both wrestlers are down on the mat, and the Gambler takes a few moments to rest up. They both get up around the same time in the standing 10 count, and Dan Godwin throws a fist, but the Gambler blocks it, and he hits a few fists to the face of Dan Godwin. The Gambler whips Dan Godwin to the ropes, and he comes off of the ropes. The Gambler picks him up, and drives him down with a side walk slam! The Gambler goes into the cover on Dan Godwin. The ref counts the 1…………….2………………..KICK OUT by Dan Godwin.]

JR-Dan Godwin is in trouble here.

King-Considering his state of mind….he’s in a lot of trouble.

[The Gambler picks up Dan Godwin, and he hits one rolling belly to back suplex, rolls up, and a second one. He goes for a third one, but Dan Godwin rolls out of the back, Godwin pushes Gambler forward. He hits into the ref, and Gambler who doesn’t care, hits a low blow on Dan Godwin. The Gambler rolls out of the ring, and he grabs Godwin’s belt, and rolls into the ring. But as comes into the ring. Suddenly Jericho comes into the ring, and pulls the belt away from the Gambler, Jericho and the Gambler argue. Suddenly Dan Godwin not happy that someone tried to take his belt, grabs the belt, and goes for Gambler’s head, but it’s ducked under, and Jericho falls down on the mat. Gambler tries to take advantage, and he goes for a big boot. But Godwin ducks it, Gambler turns around right into the eXecution! Dan Godwin falls into the cover on the Gambler, and the ref counts the 1………………..2………………..3!]

JR-Godwin wins!

King-Gambler didn’t see that one coming.

(Jericho is up on the ramp, still grinning as he holds his face. The match concluded and the arena went black once more, a lot like earlier in the show. The titantron seemed to be starting a video. We opened up in an empty courtroom. Suddenly, as the camera journeyed through the courtroom, which had a dark tint to it; as if it had been abandoned, a voice could be heard. It was unclear as to whom this voice belonged to.)

["Game On" by Disciple starts playing as Tony "The Badd Boy" Ikeda comes out from the back. He is wearing his wrestling pants but also a black and white referee's shirt with the sleeves removed. He makes his way down to the ring and slides in. He jumps up in the corner of the ring and poses. He then gets down and waits to officiate the match.]

Jim Ross: I guess we'll find out tonight if Tony Ikeda is a fair referee or if he's already picked a winner.

The King: Come on now JR, it's not like Tony Ikeda would EVER have his own agenda in mind.

Kris Gaffney: Tony will definitely be the deciding factor in this match one way or another.

The King: Don't reword JR and try to sound smarter.

["Swagger Like Us" by T.I. starts playing as The Sensational Mike New comes out from the back with his half of the EMF tag team championships. He walks down the ring and slides into the ring. He holds up his championship before handing it off to Tony Ikeda who holds it up and then hands it to someone at ringside.]

Jim Ross: A very confident young athlete that has made a remarkable splash in the EMF.

The King: Has it gone too far is the question.

["Ladies and Gentleman" by Saliva hits as Jarred Carthallion walks out from the back area. He eyes down Mike New and makes a break for the ring. He runs down the ramp and slides into into the ring going for Mike New.]

Kris Gaffney: Jarred is not wasting any time.

Jim Ross: Business is sure picking up in a hurry.

[Tony calls for the bell as Jarred Carthallion starts pounding on Mike New. Jarred keeps throwing right hands causing Mike New to stumble backwards. Jarred Carthallion grabs Mike New and whips him into the ropes. As Mike New springs off of the ropes on his return Jarred runs forward and hits a flying shoulder tackle. Mike New immediately stands up as does Jarred. Jarred then runs and hits a standing clothesline. As Mike New goes down Jarred starts putting some boots to the chest of Mike New. Jarred reaches down, grabs Mike New by the head, helps him up to his feet then gives him a knee to the stomach. As Mike New doubles over Jarred locks up Mike New's arms and hits a double arm DDT. Mike New rolls out of the ring after the impact. Mike New stumbles around on the outside for a second as he collects his breath. Tony Ikeda begins a 10 count. Jarred Carthallion walks to the ringside where Mike New is and grabs him by the hair. Mike New leaps up grabbing Jarred by the head and then pulls him down bringing Jarred's throat across the top rope. This causes Jarred to stumble backwards as Mike New slides into the ring. Mike New starts hitting some quick kicks to Jarred's shins. Mike New then runs against the ropes behind Jarred and upon his return grabs the back of Jarred's head and performs a running bulldog. Jarred rolls over onto his back as Mike New quickly gets up. Jarred Carthallion sits up but Mike New runs against the ropes again and delivers a low dropkick to Jarred's head knocking him back onto his back. Mike New stands up and leaps into the air coming down with an elbow drop into Jarred's chest. Mike New goes for the pin ...1...2...KICKOUT!]

Jim Ross: This is a back and forth one, they both want this victory.

The King: Is there ever a time someone doesn't want to win?

Kris Gaffney: Yeah, when the prostitutes draw straws on who's going to become your next wife.

[Mike New gets up frustrated and starts to help Jarred Carthallion to his feet. Mike grabs Jarred's head looking for a suplex but Jarred stops the momentum and ends up lifting Mike New into the air. Jarred holds him for a second and drops him down with a brainbuster DDT. Jarred stands up and helps Mike New up. Jarred whips Mike New into the ropes. As Mike comes back Jarred goes for a clothseline but Mike New ducks under it. Mike New comes off the other side of the ring on the ropes and then leaps into the air with a flying cross body. Jarred catches Mike in midair and then hoists Mike up onto his shoulders. Jarred Carthallion walks to the corner of the ring then runs forward and gives Mike New a powerslam. Mike New holds his back in pain. Jarred walks back to Mike New and goes to try to pull him up but Mike New counters with a double leg take down into a front flip with a pin ...1...2...KICKOUT. Mike New quickly gets up and goes back on the offensive. Jarred starts to stand up but Mike New delivers a savate kick that knocks Jarred back. Mike New approaches Jarred, but Jarred grabs Mike New and goes to whip him into the turnbuckle. Mike New counters with an irish whip and launches Jarred Carthallion into the turnbuckle. Mike New comes running in and jumps up onto the middle turnbuckle straddling Jarred. He starts delivering right fists as the crowd counts ...1...2...3...4...5...6....7...8....9...10! With that Mike New hops down and Jarred stumbles forward.]

Jim Ross: Mike New is trying to whip Jarred Carthallion lik a government mule.

The King: That won't last long JR. It only takes one mistake.

Kris Gafney: Your mom knows that all too well.

The King: If you don't watch your mouth you and I will be in the ring next.

[Mike New jumps back up on the middle turnbuckle. Jarred turns around, see's Mike New getting ready to leap and Jarred first runs toward Mike and delivers a dropkick. This causes Mike New to go backwards over the ropes and fall to the outside. Jarred falls down catching his breathe. Mike New tries to start climbing to his feet and Jarred gets up inside the ring. Jarred rolls to the outside of the ring. Mike New and Jarred start trading blows as Tony Ikeda starts his ten count again. After trading a few blows back and forth Jarred blocks a punch, and delivers a kick to the mid section. He then grabs Mike and rolls him into the ring. Jarred follows right in. Jarred grabs Mike and throws him into the turnbuckle. Jarred starts hammering on Mike New in the corner and Tony starts a count ...1...2...3...4...5! Tony reaches a five count then grabs Jarred and tries to seperate the two. Jarred elbows Tony as he's trying to interfere. This knocks Tony back a step. Jarred then turns around to Tony Ikeda and starts yelling at him for his interference. Tony yells back and shoves Jarred.]

Jim Ross: This is the moment everyone feared. We could have a whole new slobberknocker on our hands.

The King: He can't put his hands on Jarred, he's the referee.

Kris Gaffney: Tony doesn't seem to think that elbow was a mistake.

[Jarred Shoves Tony back harder knocking him to the ground. While this happens Mike New comes out of the corner. Jarred turns around only to receive a kick to the stomach and a FACEBUSTER. Tony Ikeda rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair. He slides into the ring with it and yells at Mike New to lift Jarred up. Mike New does lift Jarred up and holds Jarred's arms behind his back. Tony picks the chair up to face level, gives it a kiss for good luck with a cocky grin, he then rears back and gets read to swing. AS he swings Jarred wiggles free and ducks down. There appears to be an attempt at hesitation on Tony's part but he can't stop himself and he whallops Mike New with the chair. Jarred goes for the cover as Tony drops down immediately and counts the ...1....2....3! Jarred Carthallion wins the match.]

The King: He missed Jarred but still counted the three on Mike New. I think he was pulling for New.

Jim Ross: I don't think he missed at all King. I think he hit his intended target.

Kris Gaffney: He was just hoping Jarred was going to move.

[Jarred Carthallion and Tony Ikeda stand up. The tag team championship belts are passed into the ring. Tony Ikeda hands one half of the championships over to Jarred Carthallion proclaiming him the official other half of the tag team champions. As they celebrate pyrotechnics fire out from the turnbuckles and the arena is set in a crimson red glow.]

Jim Ross: Bah Gawd King what is going on!?

The King: It's KANE!

Kris Gaffney: Something tells me he isn't here to just say hello.

["Veil of Fire" is playing as Kane walks out from the back. He moves quickly down the ramp and adjusts his glove. He gets up on the ring apron and high steps the rope. Jarred goes in for the attack first, but Kane blocks a shot from Jarred and delivers a strong right hand knocking Jarred down. Tony Ikeda runs towards Kane, but Kane catches him by the throat and delivers a CHOKESLAM! Tony hits the ground and rolls to the outside. Jarred grabs the tag team championship belts and rolls out. Tony Ikeda and Jarred Carthallion move backwards up the ramp. As they do so looking into the ring Mike New gets to his feet and stands next to Kane. Kane stares up the ramp and raises his hands into the air dropping them again as the fire pyrotechnics blaze from the ring posts once more. Kane and Mike New continue staring as Tony Ikeda and Jarred Carthallion continue making their way to the back.]

Jim Ross: Oh my Gawd King, what did we just witness?

The King: I thought Mike New and Kane hated each other?

Kris Gaffney: We also thought Jarred and Tony hated each other.

Jim Ross: We're going to have to see what plays out in this one.

(“If You Smell” blasts on the PA system as the Rock walks down to the ring, he does his usual poses as he waits for his opponents in the ring.)

JR-This is the Rock’s third world title shot in the last two years.

King-Well when you get them, you need to do something with them.

Kris Gaffney-Guess that’s the bitch about it.

King-Luckily you never had to worry about it, huh?

(“Game On” blasts on the PA system as Tony Ikeda walks to the ring, he steps into the ring, and waits for his final opponent, keeping his eye on the Rock.)

JR-The Rock, and Tony do have quite the history.

King-The Rock has been quite the thorn as Tony has mentioned.

Kris Gaffney-Well, that can be a good thing.

(“Voices” blasts on the PA system as Randy Orton does the slow walk of DOOM with the world title.)

King-Oh my god, why does he have to do this every time..can we start the match without him?

JR-NO!

Kris Gaffney-I’d like to see a race between the Undertaker, and him.

[The Rock, Randy Orton, and Tony Ikeda are all on their opposing sides, and they talk some trash, Tony Ikeda goes for a fist to the face of the Rock. The Rock is able to block it, and he hits a hard fists to the face. Tony Ikeda goes into the corner, and the Rock hits a few fists to the face, and Randy Orton is able to come from behind on the Rock and he hits a clubbing blow to the back. Tony Ikeda falls down to the mat, and rolls out of the ring, and the Rock is in the corner, and Randy Orton hits a few knee’s into the gut to stun the Rock. Randy Orton sets up the Rock, and he hits a hip toss out of the corner, The Rock crashes into the corner. Randy Orton sets up on the Rock, and he goes for the RKO. The Rock pushes Randy Orton to the ropes, he bounces off of the ropes. The Rock lowers his head, and Randy Orton counters with a kick to the head, the Rock is stunned, and Randy Orton sets up the Rock, and he hits a short arm clothesline that knocks the Rock down on the mat. Randy Orton starts to stomp around the body of the Rock, and then Randy Orton steps back as he has finished around the Rock’s body, and seemly is going to go for his trademark knee drop, but Tony Ikeda comes into the ring, and charges at Randy Orton trying to get rid of him so that he might get the glory from the Rock being down on the mat. But Randy Orton throws him out of the ring, and Tony Ikeda crashes on the mat. The Rock is up to his feet, and he throws a fist to the face of Randy Orton. But Randy Orton thinking quickly ducks it, and hits inverted back breaker. Randy Orton gets down, and waits for the Rock to get up to his feet, once the Rock does. Randy Orton goes for a RKO, but the Rock is able to counter by pushing Randy Orton off, Randy Orton bounces off of the ropes. And the Rock hits a belly to belly over head throw. The Rock and Randy Orton are slow to get up to his feet, and once they do. Randy Orton throws a fist to the face, the Rock hits a few fists to the face of Randy Orton. Randy Orton backs up into the ropes, and the Rock tries to whip him to the ropes, and Randy Orton reverses the whip. Randy Orton lowers his head, and Randy Orton gets hit as the Rock drives Randy Orton into the mat with. Tony Ikeda tries to get back into the ring, and The Rock hits a fist that knocks Tony off of the apron, and he hits into the apron. He crashes into the guard rail. Randy Orton is in the corner, and the Rock hits a few fists to the face of Randy Orton, and he steps back, he hits the spit punch on Randy Orton. Orton stumbles out of the corner, and he hits a dragon leg whip, and the Rock sets up Orton, locks in, and turns the Rock shooter on Randy Orton. Randy Orton is in a lot of pain as he tries to find a way out of the hold.]

JR-Randy Orton’s title reign is in trouble here.

King-Don’t tap.

Kris Gaffney-Thought that was a EMF’s champions evil twins thing.

[Randy Orton tries to get to the ropes, but the Rock is able to drag him to the middle of the ring, it seems that Orton is thinking of tapping. But suddenly out of no where Tony Ikeda comes out of no where, and hits a one handed face crusher that drives the Rock face first into the mat. He is near the ropes. Tony Ikeda hits a baseball slide which makes the Rock fall out of the ring, Tony Ikeda waits as Randy Orton stumbles up to his feet, and Tony Ikeda hits Orton with a whiplash spine buster. Tony Ikeda goes into the cover on Randy Orton. The ref counts the 1………..2…………….KICK OUT by Randy Orton! Tony Ikeda can’t believe that Randy Orton kicked out. Tony Ikeda hits a few fists to the face of Randy Orton. Finally the ref yells at Tony Ikeda, Tony Ikeda picks up Randy Orton, and he whips Randy Orton to the ropes. He bounces off of the ropes. Tony Ikeda lowers his head, and he hits a big back body drop that sends Randy Orton through the air, and crashing down hard on the mat. Randy Orton is slow to get up to his feet, and once he does Tony Ikeda hits a kick to the gut, and he sets up Randy Orton, and he hits a vertical suplex on Randy Orton. Tony Ikeda rolls out of the ring. Tony Ikeda grabs the Rock, and throws him hard into the ring steps which makes the top of the steps fall off. Tony Ikeda grabs a chair, and he slides into the ring, Tony Ikeda measures up on Randy Orton who is getting up to his feet. Once he does he turns towards Randy Orton. Tony Ikeda hits a chair shot to the head that knocks down Randy Orton.]

JR-Tony Ikeda might be getting really close to the world title here.

King-And he can actually have a celebration that works out this time!

[Randy Orton is slow to get up to his feet, Tony Ikeda locks Randy Orton into a full nelson, Tony lifts him up, but Orton drives him down with a RKO which sends Tony Ikeda falling out of the ring. Orton now realizing that he might not have a chance to go after the Rock he goes for the RKO, but the Rock twists around, and hits a few knee lifts to the gut to break it upRKO, but Randy Orton answers with a kick to the balls. Rock falls down to his knee’s in pain. Randy Orton goes to the apron, and he climbs up to the top rope, and he measures up on the Rock, and he leaps off the top rope, but the Rock out of no where grabs the chair, and smashes Orton. Orton crashes hard on the mat, dazed with the chair shot right into the Rock Bottom!! The Rock goes into the cover for the 1………………..2………..Tony Ikeda tries to break it up….but is too late…3!]

JR-The Rock! The Rock has finally done it!

(The Rock rolls out of the ring as Tony Ikeda is stomping around angry, as the Rock raises the world championship to the crowd.)

(As the show got ready to come to an end, the arena went dark for it’s third time. The camera focused solely on the titantron screen once more. This time, there was no video, or white screen. It was just normal. Suddenly, the same voice we heard earlier began to echo throughout the arena.)

Voice: I told you all to be ready. He is here…

(The arena was in complete silence for about 30 seconds after the person was heard then, a song started playing.)

Song: "I remembered black skies
The lightning all around me
I remembered each flash
As time began to blur
Like a startling sign
That fate had finally found me
And your voice was all I heard
That I get what I deserve"

(The song was unfamiliar, but the individual who stepped forward a few seconds later was not…)

(Out came Ricky Ramon, a somewhat familiar face in the EMF. The crowd gave a loud burst for a reaction, but it faded rather quickly. Ramon sported a new haircut and a black T-Shirt, a pair of blue jeans and black loafers. He had a microphone in his hand. He stood at top of the ramp and scanned the arena. He had a devious smirk on his face as he waited for the right moment to speak…After a few more moments of sulking in the atmosphere, he put the microphone to his mouth and began to speak.)

Ricky Ramon: I gotta say, I’m a bit surprised that I got any kind of positive reaction from you. Not to sound doubtful, but, obviously, its been a while. Three years to be exact…

(Ramon paced around before continuing.)

Ricky Ramon: …I only found it befitting to return at an event like return of an era…I know coming from me such a bold statement seems a bit far fetched when applied to me, but I beg to differ. You see, when I left this place, I didn’t have multiple World Championship reigns. Hell, I didn’t even win it once. On paper, my Intercontinental, extreme and television championship reigns may seem partially impressive, but nothing that puts me over the top, right? …WRONG. Because in an industry like this, what’s presented on paper is inferior to what is presented in reality. Which brings me back to the point that I was initially making. The name of this event matches my return because I AM indeed the return of an era. I solely represent what success in this business is meant to be. When I left the EMF, I was a kid on a roll…but now that I’m back, I’m a man on a mission…I know you people are all thinking to yourselves that I shouldn’t be here preaching to you. But the fact of the matter is, up to this point of my life, I’ve EARNED everything that I have received, including the privilege to walk out here and explain myself. I have already proven that I am the last of a dying breed, and believe you me, if you all are not persuaded as yet then god be my witness there’s only a matter of time until you are.

(Ramon paused as he received mixed reactions from the capacity crowd in attendance. He waited for them to simmer down then continued.)

Ricky Ramon: Now that you’re all done with your ruckus, I’ll go ahead and continue…as I was saying, you all will eventually be persuaded that I am…IT. I can’t figure out a more perfect way to describe myself and what I offer…You see, if there’s one thing that I have never lacked, it’s confidence. I’m not like these naïve youngsters that are plaguing the EMF who come out here week after week after week acting like slaves to you people. These guys they…they come out here and put on a bunch of phony Barbie doll smiles and wave like the royal family just to make sure that you all can go home and sleep at night knowing that at least someone cares for you… (He paused) …Yeah, I know I sound a bit harsh and yeah I know that this business is about entertainment but I speak the way I do because I’m aware that reality is cruel and I am quiet capable of entertaining whether or not I have thousands of cheerleaders behind me every time my theme music plays…But, with that aside, back to the primary topic…I am back in the EMF to claim it as mine. There isn’t a soul in that locker room than can come anywhere near my talent. You can show me any one wrestler who finds himself to be and I’ll show you a fool…You people may have your favorites but I guarantee that they cannot nor will not measure up to me…That video earlier defined the word fate as a prophetic declaration of what must be, and what must be is me atop the throne…Because everyone backstage, I am their juror and I am all of your juror…

(Ramon paused. The uptight and serious face that he had loosened up and eventually produced a smirk. He then slowly put the mic back to his mouth and said…)

Ricky Ramon: …and I decide your fate.

(Ramon’s music played and he let off one more smile at the weary crowd. He turned around and went backstage as Return of an era came to it’s conclusion.)
