EMF: Return of an Era

(The copyright information flashes on the screen, and we go into a highlight video made specially for this event explaining how all the matches on the card came together. Fading into an introduction screen that welcomes us to Return of an Era. We go into the darken arena in Boston as pyrotechnics blasts off on the specially made stage. Once they end, the lights turn on as fans wave their signs, and yell. Some of the signs say “Mercury wrote this sign for me!”, “I’m the new CEO”, and “Just another Tazte Fan!”)

JR-Welcome to Return of an Era, this event always brings surprises, and I’m sure that this years edition will be no different. I’m good ol’ JR, Jim Ross, along side Jerry “the King” Lawler, and Kris “KG” Gaffney.

King-Well, we already have one as the tag team division will take center stage as we try to crown a new #1 contender.

Kris Gaffney-That should be interesting, but we do have a lot of other championship matches.

JR-We will start out with two former champions facing off.

(“If You Smell..” blasts on the PA system as the Rock walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Last week The Rock possibly took down the last of the ECW Originals.

King-But seemly there are more.

Kris Gaffney-It always figures that it works like that…

(“Through the fire, and the flames” as Troy Gafgen walks to the ring, and steps inside of the ring.)

JR-Troy Gafgen is a veteran of the EMF, and should be taken seriously.

King-Yeah, because when you don’t…you make him the world champion.

[The Rock, and Troy Gafgen lock up, and the Rock puts an arm bar on Troy Gafgen. He puts on the pressure, and then he hits a few clubbing blwos to the arm, and this takes down Troy Gafgen down to one knee. The Rock picks up Troy Gafgen to his feet, and hits a Russian leg sweep that connects on Troy Gaften. Troy Gafgen is down on the mat, and the Rock hits a few of his stomps on the downed former world champion. Troy Gafgen gets up to his knee’s, and the Rock hits a few of his stomps, and Troy Gafgen is able to hit a few weak punches to the gut which stuns the Rock enough for him to make the Rock stumble back. Which allows Troy Gafgen to get up to his feet, and charge at the Rock for a running big boot to the face, but it’s ducked under by the Rock. The Rock hits a few fists to the face of Troy Gafgen which makes Troy Gafgen fall into the corner, and the Rock stops for the moment, spits on his fist, and hits a final fist which damn near takes the seven footer out of the ring. The Rock backs away from Troy Gafgen stumbles out of the corner, and the Rock whips Troy Gafgen hard into the opposite side of the ring, and he comes out of the corner quickly which allows the Rock the momentum that he needs to use it for leverage to hit a samaon drop. The Rock gets up to his feet, and then he gets ready as Troy Gafgen is slow to get up to his feet as that last move effected him quite a bit due to the fact that he is not use to being thrown around like that. Troy Gafgen finally gets to his feet, and once he does, the Rock goes for the Rock Bottom. But Troy Gafgen is able to hit a few elbows to the side of the head of the Rock, and this breaks up the Rock Bottom attempt, and the Rock stunned, Troy Gafgen goes for a wild fist to the face. But Troy Gafgen throws a fist to the face, but the Rock ducks under the fist, and the Rock kicks Troy Gafgen in the gut, and hits a DDT on Troy Gafgen. The Rock takes a few moments, and then nips up, and pulls up Troy Gafgen to his feet stunned on his feet, and he whips Troy Gafgen off of the ropes, Troy Gafgen bounces off of the ropes, and the Rock hits the spine on the pine. The crowd is cheering as they know what is coming as the Rock slowly walks towards the head of the downed Troy Gafgen as he sets up for what is next.]

JR-The Rock is going for the People’s elbow.

King-And unlike other versions…this one actually works.

Kris Gaffney-…and there have been a lot of “other versions”.

[The Rock slowly pulls off his elbow pad, and throws it to the crowd. He motions for the people’s elbow, and he runs to the ropes, but as he comes off of the ropes. Troy Gafgen had already gotten to his feet, and grabs The Rock around the throat. The Rock hits a kick to the gut which breaks the grip of Troy Gafgen, the Rock falls back to the ropes, and the Rock goes back to where Troy Gafgen is, but Troy Gafgen is able to hit that running big boot that knocks down The Rock. Troy Gafgen grabs a hold of the ropes, which keeps him up, and allows him to rest up. The Rock is slow to get up to his feet, and Troy Gafgen watches as he gets up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet. The Rock goes towards him, and hits a few fists to the face, and Troy Gafgen falls backwards. The Rock spits on his fist once again for an extra hard fist, but Troy Gafgen is able to block this one, and counter with a head butt which takes down the Rock down to the mat. Troy Gafgen more time resting up, and the Rock gets up. But he’s so dazed, he falls backwards in the corner. Troy Gafgen closes the gap between them, and hits a few elbows into the corner, and before the ref can whine to him. Troy Gafgen whips the Rock into the corner, and Troy Gafgen follows him into the corner so that once the Rock hits hard into the corner, Troy Gafgen hits a body avalaunche. Troy Gafgen backs out of the corner, and the rock stumbles out of the corner. The Rock stumbles out of the corner, and Troy Gafgen picks up the Rock. Troy Gafgen holds the Rock over his head for a few moments for a military press, and then hits a military press slam on the Rock.]

JR-What power by Gafgen.

King-Well, guess that’s why you can’t take him lightly.

Kris Gaffney-This is true.

[Troy Gafgen picks up the Rock, and hits a few fists to the face, and he tries to whip the Rock to the ropes, but it’s reversed. Troy Gafgen bounces off of the ropes, and the Rock goes for a running clothesline, but it’s ducked under. The Rock turns around, and Troy Gafgen goes for the Crack of Dawn, but it’s blocked by the Rock. Troy Gafgen crashes into the mat, Troy holds his head, and slowly he gets up to his feet, and stumbles right into the Rock Bottom by the Rock! The Rock goes into the cover on Troy Gafgen. The ref counts the 1…………….2………………..3!]

JR-The Rock has done it! He has beaten Troy Gafgen!

(The Rock celebrates his win, but slowly stops as Joey Styles is on the stage, clapping. The Rock seems ready for anything, but suddenly he gets turned around, and gets hit with a chair shot by “the Franchise” Shane Douglas. He looks down at the Rock as he walks to the back).

(note: I’m not completely sure this is what was wanted, I might have to take Joey Styles out, but this is closest I can get if I can’t get direct confirmation quick enough. If not, I’ll edit.)

(“Ain’t No Make Believe” blasts on the PA system as John Morrison walks out, he looks back and Joey Mercury walks out too. He does his pose in the entrance, and continues down to the ring.)

JR-It looks like Joey Mercury will be at ring side.

King-Huh, odd to bring your butler to the ring.

Kris Gaffney-Na…I think the APA did it once.

(“Walk” blasts on the PA system as Rad Hazard walks to the ring, and sldies into the ring waiting for the bell to ring.)

JR-Rad is extremely confident.

Kris Gaffney-I’d say so, he says he’s not worried about this match.

King-I’d be careful, as I said…anyone can beat anyone, at any time.

[John Morrison and Rad Hazard pace around the ring, and they both look for an opening. Rad Hazard charges at John Morrison, Rad Hazard throws John Morrison out of the ring, but he turns away, what he doesn’t realize is that John Morrison is able to hold on, and he pulls himself up into the ring with a ropes. But John Morrison is able to send Rad Hazard out of the ring with a hurricanarana that sends Rad Hazard out of the ring. Rad Hazard crashes into the mat, and John Morrison pulls himself up to the apron backwards, and Rad Hazard tries to attack John Morrison. But John Morrison is able to counter this with a back kick to the face that makes Rad Hazard stumble backwards. Rad Hazard is stunned, and John Morrison jumps on the second rope, and hits a aise moonsault from the second rope. Rad Hazard is hurting on the mat, but it seems that move also hurt Rad Hazard after hitting that move. John Morrison looks at Rad Hazard on the mat, and realizes that the ref is getting close to the ten count, and he doesn’t want to either win this match via count out, or be counted out himself. So John Morrison picks up Rad Hazard up to his feet, and throws him into the ring. John Morrison also rolls into the ring, and Rad Hazard gets up to his feet. Rad Hazard turns around, John Morrison hits a few forearm shots to the face, and he whips Rad Hazard to the ropes, but it’s reversed. Rad Hazard bounces off of the ropes. Rad Hazard lowers his head, and John Morrison counters this with a swinging neck breaker. Rad Hazard holds his neck, John Morrison hits a few stomps on the downed Rad Hazard. John Morrison takes a few moments to soak in the reaction from the crowd, which allows Rad Hazard to get up to his feet, and once he does John Morrison picks up Rad Hazard, and hits a body slam on Rad Hazard. John Morrison hits a standing shooting star press. John Morrison hooks the leg of Rad Hazard. The ref, and counts the 1…………………..2……………………kick out by Rad Hazard. John Morrison seemly wants this match to end, and he pulls up Rad Hazard. John Morrison sets up Rad Hazard, and goes for the moonlight drive, but Rad Hazard is able to spin out of it, and Rad Hazard goes for a short arm clothesline, but John Morrison is able to duck under the move. He continue to the ropes, and jumps on the middle rope, and hits the chuck kick that connects on Rad Hazard.]

JR-John Morrison remains in control of this match.

King-Now it’s a matter of putting away this match.

[John Morrison looks at the downed Rad Hazard, and slowly Rad Hazard pulls himself up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet, which John Morrison had helped him to get the rest of the way up to his feet. John Morrison hits a falling slam in the corner, Rad Hazard seems like he’s not going to be moving anytime soon. John Morrison looks back, and measures up, and leaps to the top rope as it’s clear he’s going for Starship pain, but Rad Hazard nips as John Morrison sling shots himself up. Rad Hazard hits a forarm shot to the back of John Morrison which keeps Morrison on the top rope, sitting, and Rad Hazard climbs up behind him, and hooks him up, and hits a super belly to back suplex off of the top rope that connects on John Morrison. John Morrison and Rad Hazard are down on the mat, and now both of the wrestlers are down on the mat, and this allows Rad Hazard to finally get the rest that he has needed, but clearly John Morrison is getting up too quickly for him to get the full rest as he has stumbled up to his feet. So Rad Hazard follows, and Rad Hazard gets to his feet, but John Morrison is more ready to attack, and JOhN Morrison charges at Rad Hazard. John Morrison goes for a clothesline that Rad Hazard ducks under the clothesline, and Rad Hazard hits a super kick that knocks John Morrison back to the ropes, and John Morrison hooks the ropes with his arm, otherwise he would have fallen down to the mat. Rad Hazard goes over to John Morrison, Morrison seems to not have been effected as he seemed to as soon as Rad Hazard came over to where John Morrison had been, Morrison had thrown a fist to the face. But Rad Hazard is able to block it, and answers back with a few fists to the face, and Rad Hazard tries to whip John Morrison off of the ropes, but it’s reversed. But John Morrison reverses the whip. Rad Hazard bounces off of the ropes, and John Morrison goes for a leg lariat, Rad Hazard slides under it, and Morrison crashes into the mat. Rad Hazard climbs up to his feet, and once he gets up to his feet. Rad Hazard picks up John Morrison, and hits a whiplash spine buster. Rad Hazard goes into the cover on John Morrison, and the ref counts the 1…………………………2…………………..kick out by John Morrison just at the last moment.]

JR-If you are a John Morrison fan, this is not good at all.

King-Yeah, this has been the same old story so far.

Kris Gaffney-Well…Morrison is very innovative….so maybe he’ll think of something to get out of this situation

[Rad Hazard gets up to his feet, and calls for his finisher, but suddenly John Morrison see’s this coming, and he pulls the ref in front, which makes the ref argue with Morrison some while behind him, Rad notices that Mercury is on the apron, and he takes a shot at him. Mercury hits a hang man which goes undetected by the ref. Rad Hazard stumbles backwards, right into a set up, and John Morrison hits the Moonlight Drive! John Morrison goes into the cover on Rad Hazard, and the ref counts the 1………….2………….3!]

JR-Damn it, can’t believe that Mercury got involved.

King-What were you expecting nothing more than fair play by this fine outstanding citizen?

(“Game On” blasts on the PA system as Tony Ikeda walks ot the ring, and slides into the ring.)

JR-Tony Ikeda has been playing Carnage for a fool.

King-I still think he was just a bad aim, and doesn’t want to admit it.

Kris Gaffney-Well you got to wonder, it did take him that long to get it done.

(“Monster” blasts on the PA system as Carnage walks to the ring.)

JR-This is a chance to finally get revenge on his former friend.

King-And get a title in the process.

Kris Gaffney-Always a good plus.

[Tony Ikeda and Carnage pace around the ring, and then Carnage throws a fist to the face, and Tony Ikeda ducks it, and Tony Ikeda hits a few fists to the face, and Carnage stumbles backwards, but he then blocks one of them, and hits a head butt that takes down Tony Ikeda. Tony Ikeda goes down to the mat, and once he gets up to his feet, Tony Ikeda turns around trying to stop Carnage from mounting the offense, as he is coming towards him. Tony Ikeda ducks through the ropes to try to avoid Carnage from attacking him, but being a no DQ match, this does not stop Carnage, as he grabs Tony Ikeda by the hair, so Tony Ikeda goes to plan B, and Carnage gets hit with a low blow. Carnage stumbles back in pain as you would expect he would be. Tony Ikeda gets up to his feet, and grabs Carnage by the hair, and he throws Carnage into the ring post, and Tony Ikeda waits as Carnage slowly pulls himself out of the corner, and he turns around Tony Ikeda kicks Carnage, and Tony Ikeda kicks him in the gut, and goes for a DDT, but Carnage is able to throw Tony Ikeda off of the DDT. Tony Ikeda falls on his feet, he stumbles, and falls on the mat. Tony Ikeda rolls out of the ring, and he looks under the ring, Carnage grabs Tony Ikeda from the ring, and Tony Ikeda comes out from under the ring, and hits him with the chair. Carnage falls backwards, Tony Ikeda rolls into the ring, and puts the chair on the mat. Carnage slowly gets up to his feet, and Tony Ikeda sets up, and hits an inverted Russian leg sweep that connects on Carnage which sends Carnage face first on to the chair. Carnage might be down for the count, and Tony Ikeda pushes Carnage on his back, and hooks the leg of Carnage, and the ref counts the 1……………..2……………..Carnage kicks out with authority which sends Tony Ikeda nearly across the ring. Tony Ikeda looks surprised on the mat as Carnage is still hurt, but obviously he is not going to stay down for long if he has that type of power. It’s this moment that Tony Ikeda realizes that he will have to take a risk.]

JR-Carnage is not going to go down that easily.

King-Getting hit with a chair in the face isn’t easy…

Kris Gaffney-Neither is Pimpin’…didn’t stop the Godfather.

[Tony Ikeda climbs up to the top rope, and he stands waiting on the top rope, and once Carnage gets up to his feet. Tony Ikeda leaps off of the top rope, but Carnage is able to counter with a big boot that takes Tony Ikeda out of the ground. Tony Ikeda is in pain, and Carnage falls backwards, and is able to grab on to the ropes, and is able to rest up a bit with that amount of time that he was able to rest up a bit, and he see’s the chair that was used on him before. Tony Ikeda stumbles towards him, and Carnage grabs Tony Ikeda, and inches him towards the chair, but Tony Ikeda is able to counter this with a few kicks to the gut that stuns him, and Tony Ikeda is able to get out of the grip of Carnage, Tony Ikeda bounces off of the ropes, and Carnage catches Tony Ikeda, and hits a spinning side slam on Tony Ikeda. Carnage takes the rest of the time to rest up, and Tony Ikeda is slow to get up as Carnage does, and Tony Ikeda throws a fist, but Carnage returns his own, and follows it up with another, and he whips Tony Ikeda to the ropes, and he bounces off of the ropes. Carnage lowers his head, and hits a big back body drop that sends Tony Ikeda through the air, and crashing down on the mat. Tony Ikeda slow to get up turns towards Carnage whip picks him up, and hits a side walk slam on the chair! Carnage goes into the cover on Tony Ikeda, and the ref counts the 1…………2……….KICK OUT by Tony Ikeda.]

JR-The champion is not going down either.

King-Well, it still was as impactful kick out as Carnage’s.

Kris Gaffney-Well…you’d expect that anyways…

[Carnage picks up Tony Ikeda and goes behind him, and lifts him up for the electric chair drop. Tony Ikeda is able to slide behind Carnage. Tony Ikeda hits a low blow on Carnage, and rolls up Carnage as the ref counts the three Tony Ikeda grabs the ropes, and just as the 1……..2……..3 is registered. Carnage powers out of the pin a slight second too late.]

JR-Tony Ikeda barely escaped this match with his title.

(“Angel on my Shoulder” blasts on the PA system as Madison Rayne walks down in a huff to the ring.)

JR-This young lady…is very…interesting.

King-Interesting? I would say that stops when she starts yelling.

(“Bodies” blasts on the PA system as Marina walks to the ring, and she steps inside of the ring.)

JR-The last few weeks Marina and Madison Rayne have had a series of matches that might be coming to an end tonight.

King-It could…but then what would be the fun in that?

Kris Gaffney-Who knows.

(“Katie Lea’s theme” blasts on the PA system as Katie Lea walks to the ring, and she steps inside of the ring.)

JR-This will be a wild card in the match.

King-Yeah, you never know what you’ll be getting out of Katie Lea.

Kris Gaffney-Too bad Angelina Love wasn’t facing Marina again….

[Marina, and Katie Lea, and Madison Rayne start out in the middle of the ring. Marina, and Katie Lea stare at each other for a moment, and then suddenly they both turn to Madison Rayne, and start to attack her together. Madison Rayne tries to fend off both of them, but finds out that it’s impossible as both Katie Lea, and Marina are beating on her. She tries to cover up as both Katie Lea, and Marina are hitting clubbing blows on her, both of the girls back off as Madison Rayne stumbles up to her feet, and Marina and Katie Lea hit a double drop kick that knock Madison Rayne out of the ring. After that, Katie Lea, and Marina pace around the ring, and they lock up. Katie Lea puts on a hammer lock, and puts Marina into a side headlock, and before she can do anything with it. Marina looks for a way out of it, and she does so by backing Katie Lea to the ropes, and whips Katie Lea off of the ropes, and Katie Lea bounces off of the ropes. Katie Lea comes off of the ropes, and hits a hard shoulder tackle that takes down Marina. Katie Lea stands ready as Marina gets up to her feet, and Katie Lea hits a running clothesline that knocks down Marina. Marina stumbles up stunned, Katie Lea kicks Marina in the gut, and sets her up for a suplex, and hits a quick snap suplex on Marina. Marina is slow to get up to her feet, and once she does get up to her feet, Katie Lea picks up Marina, and hits a body slam on Marina. Katie Lea goes to the outside, and climbs up to the top rope, and she waits for Marina to get up to her feet, but as this is going on. Madison Rayne has gotten up to her feet, and grabs a hold of Katie Lea’s foot. Katie Lea kicks her off, and see’s that Marina has gotten up, so she goes for a double axe handle quickly knowing that she had more time to recover, but Marina is able to counter this with a drop kick that swats Katie Lea out of the Sky. Katie Lea is in pain on the mat, and Marina shakes her head trying to recover from the moves that she has taken. Marina see’s Katie Lea stumbling up to her feet, and she grabs Katie Lea by the hair, and throws her hard into the ring post. The camera shows how much in pain, Marina pulls Katie Lea from behind, and school girls her up, and the ref makes the count for the 1…………2……………….Madison Rayne comes out of no where, and breaks up the count. Madison Rayne picks up Katie Lea, and throws her out of the ring, not looking happy that she was messing with her. She turns around right into a kick to the face by Marina.]

JR-I think Madison Rayne should have stayed outside.

King-Or at least planned better…

Kris Gaffney-But we all know that’s doubtful…

[Marina waits as Madison Rayne tries to get to her feet, Marina puts her in power bomb position, and lifts her up, but Madison Rayne is able to counter with a hurricanarana. That sends Marina face first into the top turnbuckle. She stumbles out of the corner, and Marina gets kicked in the gut by Madison Rayne, and Madison Rayne puts her into a vertical suplex front face lock, and lifts her up, and drops her for a sit down face buster from a vertical suplex. Marina is down on the mat, and Madison Rayne goes over to the nearest turnbuckle, and measures up, and leaps off of the second rope, and connects with a splash. Madison Rayne goes into the cover on Marina, and the ref counts the 1…………………………2………………….kick out by Marina! Madison Rayne gets up to her feet, and starts to yell bloody murder. But anyways, she decides that she needs to cheat to possibly win this match, so she goes over to the corner, and she starts to take off the turnbuckle padding. Marina not seeing what is going on charges at Madison Rayne, Madison Rayne moves out of the way as Marina leaps in the air, and seemly she got the padding off. Marina is dazed, and Madison Rayne goes from behind, and hits a german suplex with a bridge for the 1…………….2……….KICK OUT by Marina as Madison Rayne now is hitting the mat in frustration.]

JR-Madison Rayne needs to focus, or she might make a mistake.

King-Yeah, and we know that most of the good wrestlers can take advantage of mistakes.

Kris Gaffney-Didn’t help me…

King-Exactly…

[Madison Rayne measures up as Marina gets up to her feet, and Madison Rayne runs to the ropes. She bounces off of the ropes, but Katie Lea on the outside trips her up, Madison Rayne on her knee’s turns around, and tries to reach for Katie, but Marina spring boards off of the second rope, and hits the Extreme Seeing Stars on Madison Rayne. Rayne goes down on the mat, and Marina goes into the cover on Madison Rayne, and gets the 1………..2………3!]

JR-We can comment on Katie’s involvement, but she was in the match.

King-Guess that was the plus in being in the match I suppose.

(“Death of Me” blasts on the PA system as Scott Tazte walks to the ring, and he steps inside of the Hell in a Cell.)

JR-This is the first of a very difficult night for Scott Tazte.

King-But he is Scott Tazte, he can pull it off.

Kris Gaffney-It would be to his credit, that much is for sure.

(“Slither” blasts on the PA system as Firestorm walks to the cage, and enters the hell in a cell.)

JR-Last month these two torn the house down with their cage match.

King-But I doubt Firestorm forgets how it ended last month, this time there will be no escape.

Kris Gaffney- As is the natural progession of this feud.

[Firestorm and Scott Tazte once again stand in the middle of the ring for their much awaited rematch, they lock up, and they test who is the stronger of the two. The two are able to push back, and neither of the wrestlers are able to get the advantage. The two break the lock up, and then pace around the ring, and lock up once again, but this time Scott Tazte is able to hit a knee lift to the gut that doubles over Scott Tazte. Scott Tazte brings over Firestorm to the corner, and then smashes his head on the top turnbuckle. Firestorm turns around, and Scott Tazte measures up, and hits a knife edge chops to the chest that echo through out the arena as the crowd says “whoooo” with everyone of them. Scott Tazte tries to whip Firestorm to the other side of the ring, and he flips into the corner, and falls into the apron, and Firestorm seeing Tazte on the apron, he charges at Scott Tazte, and Scott Tazte see’s this coming, and he hits a shoulder block into the gut that stuns Firestorm, and Scott Tazte gets under Firestorm and does a back body drop over the top rope, and he crashes into the mat around ring side, and Firestorm is able to avoid going into the cage side. Scott Tazte is not quite pleased with this, and Scott Tazte goes out of the ring, and he pulls up Firestorm by the hair, and throws him hard into the cage side. He crashes into the stumbles backwards, Scott Tazte sets up, and he hits a short front Russian leg sweep that sends Firestorm back into the cage side. Scott Tazte takes a few moments to absorb the crowds reaction to that move as it was pretty innovated. Scott Tazte grabs Firestorm, and throws him into the ring. Scott Tazte climbs up on the apron, and climbs up to the top rope. He waits for Firestorm to get up to his feet, and once he’s up to his feet, Scott Tazte leaps off of the top rope, and hits a flying clothesline that knocks down Firestorm. Firestorm is down, but clearly not down for the count, and Scott Tazte realizes that he needs to go for the most impactful move ever, and he does the pose before the kountdown. But then he see’s Joy in the crowd, who does her booty shake, and the two pose and shake down. But both are effective, so Tazte turns around, kicks Firestorm in the gut, and hits the Kountdown! Scott Tazte goes into the cover on Firestorm, and the ref counts the 1………………2………………..kick out by Firestorm. Scott Tazte can’t believe that he didn’t get the three count, but anyways he hits a few stomps on the downed Firestorm. Scott Tazte waits, but Firestorm is able to push back Scott Tazte, he bounces off of the ropes. He comes off of the ropes, and Firestorm goes for a super kick, Tazte ducks it, kicks him in the gut, and puts Firestorm in a set up for the Remedy.]

JR-This match might not live up to the billing.

King-Well considering the match up earlier…I’d say it’s more than live up to the billing.

Kris Gaffney-I think that caused a rip in the time/space continuum.

[But before Scott Tazte is able to plant him for the Remedy, Firestorm charges at the corner, and Firestorm is able to drive Scott Tazte into the corner. Firestorm hits a few shoulder blocks into the gut to stun, and Scott Tazte gets whipped out of the corner, and Scott Tazte crashes hard into the corner, and stumbles out of the corner, and Firestorm runs to the ropes behind Scott Tazte, and comes off of the ropes, and hits a one handed face crusher that sends that sends Scott Tazte into the mat. Both wrestlers are down on the mat, and both are trying to recover from the moves they have taken, and Scott Tazte is the first to get up to their feet, and he stumbles over to Firestorm, but Firestorm is able to counter with a double leg take down, and puts Scott Tazte into a catapault, and hits it that sends Scott Tazte flying into the top turnbuckle. Scott Tazte stumbles backwards, and turns around, and Firestorm is able to hit a t-bone suplex that connects on Scott Tazte. Scott Tazte crashes into the mat, and he’s very slow to get up to his feet using the ropes to get up to his feet. Once he gets up to his feet, Firestorm charges at Scott Tazte, and hits a running clothesline over the top rope that not only sends Scott Tazte over the top rope, and crashing on the mat around the ring mat. Both wrestlers are once again down on the mat, Firestorm is able to get up to his knee’s, and he looks under the ring, and he comes out from the ring, with a Singapore cane. Firestorm looks a bit crazed, and he goes over to Scott Tazte, and Firestorm is able to hit a cane shot to the gut of Scott Tazte. Firestorm throws the cane away, and grabs Scott Tazte by the hair, and throws Scott Tazte face first into the steel. Firestorm doesn’t let Scott Tazte fall down to the mat. Instead Firestorm starts to rake Scott Tazte’s face on the steel. Scott Tazte is in pain, and finally Firestorm let’s Tazte fall down to the floor in a seated position. Firestorm puts his boot on the throat of Scott Tazte. The ref yells at Firestorm, and Scott Tazte backs up, and he charges at Scott Tazte, and hits a knee to the face of Scott Tazte. Scott Tazte holds on to his face.]

JR-Firestorm is clearly focused to try to take out his anger out on Scott Tazte.

King-Well he has a lot to take out, that much is for sure.

[Firestorm throws Tazte into the ring, and goes into the cover on Tazte, and the ref counts the 1…………….2………..kick out by Tazte. Firestorm looks around for what’s next for him to try. He rolls to the outside, and he pulls out the table, and throws it into the ring. He sets the table near a corner, and then he goes over to Scott Tazte, Scott Tazte throws Firestorm’s hands off him, and hits a Kountdown! Scott Tazte shakes off the moves he’s taken, and pulls up Firestorm, and throws him on to the table. Scott Tazte takes sometime, but he climbs up to the top rope, but just before Scott Tazte leaps off of the top rope, Firestorm rolls off of the table, and dives on the top rope, and sends Scott Tazte falling on the top rope. Firestorm climbs up to the top rope, and goes to the side of him, and goes for the Firestarter off of the top of the ropes. But Scott Tazte turns it around, and sets up Firestorm in a DDT position, and hits a modified Remedy (it’s more of an impaler DDT where it looks like more like a face buster than a DDT from the side)through the table. Both wrestlers are down on the mat, Scott Tazte barely has enough to throw his arm over Firestorm, and the ref counts the 1………….2………3!]

JR-Scott Tazte has done it, what a war.

King-Didn’t know where that was going, both wrestlers could have won that one.

(As the crowd wait for the next match “Dirty Window” by Metallica blasts out to the now customary boos from the crowd and “The X-Factor” Dan Godwin walks to the ring carrying the EMF World Championship, he points at some of the “wittier” signs in the crowd and dressed for competition, he is followed by Christine.)

J.R – What is Godwin doing here?

King – I don’t know, he isn’t scheduled for action or to even be here tonight

Kris – Whatever reason, it must be important and he looks ready for action.

J.R – Great, we get to hear him bleat on about the same thing, call the crowd useless and insult us all.

King – I know, doesn’t he realise people like him are the reason people settled in America?

(Godwin gets into the ring and grabs a microphone and looks into the crowd smiling at the boo’s he now receives, he says something to Christine and then starts to speak.) |+| The X-Factor|+| Put down the soda pop, put down the hamburger, you can go five minutes without stuffing your fat faces, it may do you some good and just by listening to me, you’ll get slightly smarter, admittedly not much but I’m not a miracle worker despite how it may seem to people as average as you.

(The crowd boo even louder and Godwin takes a moment to laugh.)

J.R – The nerve of this guy, I wish someone would shut him up for good.

King – Not likely, even when he was performing for the crowd, he still loved the sound of his own voice.

(Godwin goes to the corner and waits for a few seconds for the crowd to go quiet before he continues to talk.)

|+|The X-Factor|+| Now, before I was rudely interrupted, I was going to tell you how I felt sorry for all you people, being stuck in a town forever associated with being second best, having nobody wanting to be associated with it, lets look at the facts shall we.

(The crowd start and “Arsehole” chant and Godwin laughs before continuing to talk through it just soaking it in as it gets louder)

|+|The X-Factor|+| You are associated with the Boston Red Sox, a baseball team that is known world wide for being losers, now they may have some “success” in recent years but when you think the Red Sox, it’s the curse of Babe Ruth, a man smart enough to get the hell out of town. Then we have the Celtics, a side who were last good, just like this town, in the middle to late eighties, we have a team like them in England, at proper sports, they are called Liverpool and they are universally regarded as a joke, sure once again they have had some instances of success recently but ultimately they are has beens, an after thought now, no longer the big team everyone fears, they are the also rans, the second best, just like this town and the people in it, the not quite good enough’s.

(The crowd get louder with hate as Godwin continues.)

|+|The X-Factor|+| Then we have the Boston Bruins, a side who when they have a winning record it’s considered a miracle, the Derby County of the NHL, now let me put this into perspective for those of you to stupid to follow a proper football, one where your feet actually touch the ball on more than one play every twenty minutes. Speaking your so called “football”, I’m told, but I was never aware that you do have a side that is known for being quite successful in the New England Patriots, once again, just like Babe Ruth, they got the hell out of town, now they may have gone just a short distance down the road and still be the local side, but they had absolutely zero success till round about the time they changed their name, so just to drive home my point, this place is full of losers, just like all of you.

(The crowd boo even louder as Christine whispers something to Godwin who looks shocked then tries to quiet the crowd down but this just makes them angrier.)

|+|The X-Factor|+| Now, I apologise, this isn’t why I came out here, I’m sure you are all aware of how much this place sucks, you live here, I only have to visit when my contract dictates, this is not one of those times, I came out here because I felt sorry for you, I wanted you to see what a champion looks like and I thought I’d come here out the goodness of my heart, I know you were all disappointed when you saw “The X-Factor” Dan Godwin was not booked to compete, on a pay per view, but being the all around great guy I am, being the most important part of this company, I turned up to defend this title, first off I was going to come to the ring and have an open challenge but management felt that was a bad idea as you’d all want a shot and they didn’t have time to give you all a shot against me and lose, although each one of you would be more of a challenge than some I have faced in the past mentioning known Badd names. Then, I was going to challenge anybody in the locker room to a match but I am bored of that now, so I was considering not even turning up, taking the night off.

(The crowd for the first time cheer at this announcement.)

|+|The X-Factor|+| But that is not my style, I am a fighting champion, never let it be said otherwise, I will defend this title to all comers, so I came up with another plan, I’d find a worthy challenger myself, I’d scourer the wrestling scene, go back through the years and find a true great someone who belongs in this ring with me and is more worthy of a title shot than any of the jokes the EMF currently employs, so ladies and gentlemen without further delay, I give you a legend of this industry, some might even same a legend of this game, a man who has a title victory of the Undertaker and Christian, a man who is perhaps most well known for his Royal Rumble exploits, he has perfected many a move, he has ran the flagship show of the WWE, a man with world title experience having faced some of the greatest champions of all time with the World Title on the line, a man who turned down being begged to join Evolution and holds countless victories over multi time World Champions. Ladies and Gentlemen, I went to hell and back to find this man, well Virginia, which is much much worse, ladies and gentlemen, I give you the master of the dropkick…MAVEN.

(“Tattoo” by Big Mother Thruster plays and the crowd kind of cheer as Maven walks out looking happy, he walks to the ring as Godwin continues to talk.)

|+|The X-Factor|+| Look at him folks, he looks as in shape as he did when he eliminated the Undertaker from the 2002 Royal Rumble, a match he was robbed of as he was never eliminated, he hasn’t missed a beat in all these years, you’ll be able to tell your kids of the night you saw two of the greatest of all time meet live in person, here he is folks, the biggest threat to my championship I could find.

(Maven climbs in the ring and stands face to face with Godwin who backs him up)

|+|The X-Factor|+| Calm down, calm down, you’ll get your shot, I want you to show everybody you haven’t missed a beat, show them what they all want to see, show them that dropkick, but first let me get Christine out the ring and give you some room.

(Godwin goes to the ropes and holds them open for Christine to climb out, he then turns back and stands next to Maven, he seems ready for the dropkick but backs away at the last second.)

|+|The X-Factor|+| Woah woah woah, not so fast, you want to hit the dropkick on me, you’ll have to earn it, while the ref ambles to the ring, I want you to show me the dropkick on…him

(Godwin points to a member of the crowd and climbs out the ring and goes to him, the fan looks nervous as Godwin approaches, he says something and the fan shakes his head, Christine walks over and Godwin says something else, the fan then agrees and walks to the guard rail, as he climbs over it Godwin takes something from Christine, Godwin gets back in the ring as the fan climbs over the ring, Christine kisses him and he looks happy. Maven looks confused in the ring.)

|+|The X-Factor|+| Come on folks, give it up for this faceless nobody who gets to share the ring with two greats, make him feel like he is somebody for once in his pathetic existence.

(The fan gets in the ring and Godwin hands him a couple of notes, Godwin then points at Maven and the fan nods and stands in position waiting the dropkick but it doesn’t come. Maven says something to Godwin who goes to the microphone.)

|+|The X-Factor|+| Do it or you can kiss your title shot goodbye, I don’t mind disappointing these invalids for a second, the choice is yours…do it or regret it for ever.

(The fan nods and says something to Maven, who then reluctantly hits him with a dropkick, he then stands looking at the fan to check he is ok, as he stands up and turns round Godwin hits him with the eXecution and puts his foot on him, he then instructs the ref to count the pin and he does slowly 1…2…3, he holds his hand up with the World title in hand as Christine comes in the ring and grabs the microphone.)

|+|Christine|+| Ladies and Gentlemen, here is your winner and STILL the EMF World Heavyweight Champion “The X-Factor” Dan Godwin.

(Godwin smiles and grabs the microphone.)

|+|The X-Factor|+| I want you all to remember what I did here and I want you to all know, this is just a game to me and you are all my pawns.

(Godwin drops the microphone and laughs, as he starts to leave the ring with Christine he spots Maven slowly getting to his feet, he hands Christine the title and turns round and once again hits him with the eXecution, he laughs with Christine as he starts to walk out of the ring the fan is being attended to and he just points at him.)

J.R – What a despicable human being that man has turned into.

King – He is just enjoying himself.

Kris – At the expense of an honest fan and Maven, he should be ashamed.

(The scene fades to backstage as Godwin and Christine leave the arena still laughing about the events.)

("Generic Theme" plays and Miss Jackie makes her way out onto the ramp. She taunts and gets a good reaction from the crowd. As she makes her way down the ramp we see a video package highlighting her wins over Madison Rayne, Lacey Von Erich, Katie Lea and Kelly Kelly which lead up to this match, as well as some much loved shots from the 6 Diva Tag match a few months back.)

JR: Miss Jackie has been on quite a rollar coaster ride to get to this title oppertunity here tonight.

King: But it'll all be worth it if she manages to capture the title for the 157th time.

Kris: Anyone who notices who wins this match isn't watching it right....

("Angel on my Shoulder" plays as Velvet Sky makes her way out, carrying her EMF Women's Championship. Due to the rules banning everyone from ringside, no BP members accompany her. She slides into the ring and stares down Jackie. The bell sounds and the first fall begins. Miss Jackie and Velvet Sky circle the ring and then they lock up in the middle. Jackie hammers away with some hard shots on Velvet and she looks like she's been waiting a long time for this. She backs Velvet into the corner and hammers away with hard shots. She then begins to kick Velvet hard, seemingly focused on dealing out pain more than anything else. She hammers away on Velvet's face as Velvet screams in pain and tries unsuccessfully to block the shots. Jackie then grabs Velvet by the hair and yanks her to her feet. She Irish Whips Velvet out of the corner, but holds onto her, pulling her back and nailing a hugh clothesline. As Velvet falls hard, Jackie begins to mock her.)

JR: So much hatred from the ex-Mrs Cena towards Cena's new girlfriend.

King: But Cena's not here to help her tonight...

Kris: You get the feeling she's in real trouble.

(Jackie slides out of the ring and heads over to the ringside area, where she grabs the Women's Championship from the time keeper. She slides into the ring but Velvet is up and stomps down on Jackie. Velvet lifts Jackie to her feet. She hits a few hard shots to the face and then takes Jackie down with a snap suplex. Velvet grabs the title belt which is now laying there by Jackie's body. She waits for Jackie to stumble up and then blasts her hard over the head with the championship belt. Jackie goes down hard and Velvet begins yelling abuse at her. Velvet begins to choke Jackie using the title belt and smirks as she does it. When Jackie is seemingly getting light headed, Velvet picks Jackie up, and plants her down with a DDT. As Jackie goes down Velvet literally rips her shirt off her, not bothering to put any effort into removing it intact. Jackie's green bra is exposed, and Velvet heads to the other side of Jackie's body and begins to try and remove her pants. She gets them a little way down but Jackie kicks her off. Velvet gets tangled in the ropes and Jackie leaps up. Before even bothering to pull her pants back up she runs and clotheslines Velvet hard to the outside.)

JR: Velvet nearly had this first section of the match won.

King: And in record time to.

Kris: Well she is the champion for a reason...

(Velvet hits the outside hard and Jackie slides out of the ring. She adjusts her pants from where Velvet tried to remove them, and then she runs at Velvet and clotheslines her as she stumbles up. She grabs Velvet, picks her up, and hurls her hard into the ring post. As Velvet's head bounces off it, Jackie spins her round and nails a big DDT. Jackie grabs Velvet's shirt and removes it to cheers from the crowd, and leaves Velvet in a black bra. Velvet shrieks when she realises what happened and tries to cover herself up. Jackie uses her embaressment to grab hold of her, hoist her onto her shoulders, and then nail her with the F-Off! The crowd cheer loudly as Jackie taunts and appears to be closing in on the first fall. She approaches the lifeless Velvet but suddenly something appears from under the ring, and trips her up. Jackie stumbles and hits the steel steps head first. She rolls about in pain as people look confused.)

JR: What the hell just happened?

King: I think that was.... the ugly stick?

Kris: IT'S THE LITTLE PEOPLE!! RUN!!

(The referee looks under the ring but seemingly can't find anyone. He looks confused as Laura Cena emerges from the other side of the ring laughing. When the referee is given up she hides again. With both women down there isn't much the referee can do. He just stands, waiting for one of them to get up. Eventually Miss Jackie stumbles to her feet. She looks angry about what happened. But rather than let it get to her, she goes over to Velvet and begins taking it out on her by hammering away at her face. Again there is too much force in the shots for Velvet to block them. Jackie lifts Velvet up again to look for a 2nd F-Off. With Velvet doomed, the ugly stick appears again, and hits Jackie in the shin. Jackie stumbles just enough for Velvet to slide out of the move and then Velvet nails Jackie with the Beauty Mark! This time the referee grabs the ugly stick and pulls it hard to get it out from under the ring. Unfortunately for Jackie, what's attached to the end of it isn't enough to cause a DQ....)

JR: What the? That's.... HORNSWOGGLE?!

King: The Little People are joining forces!

Kris: Had that been Laura Cena, Miss Jackie would be champion.

(Hornswoggle dances around and laughs at the referee. He then gets wide-eyed as he spots Velvet Sky pulling Jackie's pants clean off, revealing Jackie's matching dark green thong. The bell sounds to mark the end of the first fall. Velvet leads 1-0. She then spots Hornswoggle and yells in fear. Hornswoggle yells back at her. Velvet grabs the ugly stick and begins to chase him off. In all the commotion Laura Cena slips out from under the ring and runs up the ramp. Velvet keeps chasing Hornswoggle until he does the same, and leaves. While she was distracted however, Jackie had grabbed a paddle from under the ring. Velvet turned back towards Jackie and got blasted over the head by the paddle. Jackie throws Velvet back into the ring and climbs in herself. She picks up Velvet and nails a hard suplex. She then tugs at Velvet's pants, revealing Velvet's matching black thong. She doesn't even bother to remove them fully before grabbing the paddle and spanking Velvet with all she's got. The referee points this out to Jackie and eventually she pulls Velvet's pants clean off before returning to spanking her hard. Velvet shrieks in terror and embaressment but there's no one to help her. Suddenly she reaches into her bra. Jackie doesn't notice as Velvet pulls out a spray, and sprays her in the eyes. Jackie yells out and stumbles backwards. Velvet quickly plants her down with a DDT. She looks around, seemingly more worried about covering herself up than winning the match. When she realises there's nothing to help her, she picks up the paddle. She looks in disgust as she begins to spank Miss Jackie.)

JR: Velvet looks like she'd rather be anywhere than here....

King: She looks disgusted by having to touch Jackie's ass, even with a paddle. If she wants.... i'll take over?

(Velvet seems to decide the best course of action is to hit Jackie as hard as she can and get it over with. She begins spanking Jackie with all her might. Jackie tries to crawl away but Velvet holds her in place fairly well. Velvet takes a few more shots but despite Jackie clearly being in pain, she shows no signs of submitting. Jackie crawls along the ring, Velvet holding on and moving with her, continuing the assault on Jackie's ass. Eventually Jackie gets to the ropes. She's able to pull herself up and then nail some elbows on Velvet. Velvet stumbles and Jackie charges and goes for a clothesline. Velvet ducks it and then turns and rolls Jackie up. Even though there's no pins it puts her in a good position for Velvet to grab the paddle again. Before she can do anything though Jackie reverses the roll up. Velvet clutches the paddle and holds it out of the way of Jackie so Jackie begins to spank Velvet with her hands. The crowd roar for this and Velvet seems so embaressed and hurt by the force Jackie is using that she quickly taps it, levelling the match at 1-1.)

JR: Well no matter what, Velvet was never going to get Jackie to tap out.

King: All level now... and the Thong Stinkface Match will decide it.

(the referee seperates the 2. They are both hurting and holding their asses which are sore. The referee informs them they both have to be on their feet to start the 3rd fall. Suddenly "Obsession" blasts out over the PA System. Mickie James skips down to the ring looking happy. Velvet shrieks knowing that Mickie is capable of, and tries to cover herself in the corner while yelling at Mickie to stay away from her. Mickie takes a microphone though.)

Mickie: Good news everyone! Now I know you're all disappointed that our President, John Cena, can't be here at the moment, due to the impending murder trial coming up for the murder of his ex-wife. But never fear.... because he has placed everyones favourite lesbian in charge of the EMF while he's gone! No not Rosie O'Donnell..... ME, Mickie James! And my first act as acting President of the EMF is.... well.... a thong stinkface match? Really? It's been done. It's boring. No one wants to see that. I mean Jackie might like having Velvet's sexy little ass in her face but.... it's not the most entertaining match we could see is it. All these thong matches.... spanking matches.... whatever else.... and I don't get to be part of a single one! Tell you what Velvet....

(Mickie heads over to Velvet in the corner, and then bends slightly, and lowers her own pants, revealing a purple thong to cheers from the crowd.)

Mickie: Give me a good hard spanking and i'll call you the winner right here and now...

(Velvet shrieks and covers her eyes. Mickie laughs and pulls her pants back up. Jackie steps forward but Mickie laughs.)

Mickie: *to Jackie* I know you'd do it. Velvet here probably can't stand the thought of me actually enjoying what she's doing to me. No matter. It looks like it's plan B. Start the 3rd fall..... under my rules. The winner will be.... the first Diva to remove their opponents Bra!

(The crowd roar and Mickie smirks at both women. Velvet looks horrified. She slides out of the ring and grabs a mic of her own.)

Velvet: No way. No way in hell. I'm out of here. Keep the title. Do want you want. Get your boobs out in the ring if you want. But no one is seeing mine. No one here deserves it. They are for John Cena's eyes only! And while I'm sure I could win.... i'd rather keep my eye sight than see the boobs of someone so ugly. You make my sick you freaking dyke! I'm out of here..... no way...

(Velvet goes to head up the ramp but suddenly Maria Kanellis, Katie Lea, Amy Dumas, Marina.... all the Divas that Velvet has illed over the past few months come out onto the ramp. Velvet looks like she's seen a ghost. She turns around and walks right into a Mick-Kick.)

Mickie: Sorry John.... but no one ruins my match....

(Mickie hurls Velvet back into the ring where Jackie is waiting. Jackie looks hesitant, but approaches the lifeless Velvet, and unclasps her bra. Velvet is laying facedown so no one sees anything as Jackie is careful to lift her as little as possible to get the bra out from under her. She holds it aloft and the bell sounds. Jackie is declared the winner by 2 falls to 1 and handed the Womens Championship. Jackie collapses looking delighted as she holds her beloved title once more. The crowd are cheering and suddenly she looks and Velvet... and smirks. She grabs Velvet's lifeless body, and taunts as if she's going to life her up and give the world an eyeful. She actually goes to do it but before anyone sees anything Mickie jumps in front of Velvet with a towell and the crowd boo.)

Mickie: Sorry everyone.... i'd love for you to see them.... I really would... but she's still John's Girlfriend, and he wouldn't appreciate her boobs being all over the internet tomorrow morning. However.... there's no danger of that if I just take a little peak....

(She opens the towell up, with her own body blocking the shot. She smirks as Velvet comes too and realises what is going on. She yells and screams but knows she can't fight or else she'll expose herself. Mickie just laughs, all the while looking down at Velvet. Velvet covers herself with her arms. She begins to scream at Mickie again and Mickie just forces her lips against Velvet's which gets an even louder cheer. Mickie wraps her in the towel again and smirks at her, winks, and then slides out of the ring. She puts her arm around Jackie and raises Jackie's hand in victory. Velvet, now wrapped up, kneels on the ground screaming and banging the floor in frustration as Mickie and Jackie exit.)

*Just before the main event is about to start, the lights in the arena go down and thrust the building into darkness for a moment. The darkness is broken when a section of the stage opens up, and the rock band Saliva is revealed to be standing with their instruments at ready. Front man Josey Scott steps forward with his microphone in hand, and the band begins to play. The riffs of "Ladies And Gentlemen" begin to fill the arena, and the fans begin to cheer and leave their seats, standing to try and get a better view of what is going on. As the band plays, Josey Scott sings through the first verse, and then chorus of the song. As he begins the second verse, pyro erupts from the stage, ramp and around the ring. The EMF-Tron springs to life, and possibly the two most famous letters in EMF history are emblazoned on the giant screen. "J.C" A roar erupts from the crowd that nearly drowns out Saliva completely as Jarred Carthallion walks out onto the stage. Wearing a pair of jeans, designer black boots, and a well fitted button down that shows he's still in phenomenal shape, he stands there a few seconds, soaking it all in. He finally begins walking down the ramp, a smile stretching across his face from ear to ear. He makes his way up the ring steps, and enters the ring, playing to the crowd as he stands after stepping through the ropes. He walks across the ring and motions to the ring announcer to hand him a microphone, and the announcer does just that. Jarred takes the mic and walks back to the center of the ring. He looks around for a moment, and again smiles. He raises a hand in the air as Saliva finishes the song, motioning for the crowd to calm down.*

Jarred:"I'm sure you are all probably wondering just what in the hell I'm doing here tonight aren't you?"

*The crowd erupts with another chorus of cheers, again forcing Jarred to raise his hand in an attempt to calm them.*

Jarred:"Well, if you'll afford me a few minutes of your time, I'll tell you all about it. Now the last time any of you saw me in an EMF ring, I had just lost the World Heavyweight Championship. And, holding true to my word, upon losing the title I retired from wrestling. I left that night, I went home to North Carolina, and I started to live a happy, and quiet life of retirement. A life far away from the chaos of being on the road three hundred days a year, and wrestling nearly two hundred matches a year. I kept up with everything though. I still watched Shockwave every week, and the pay per views every month. I knew what was going on. And, to be honest, there were times when I missed being in the ring. There were times when I missed being on the road, and seeing some of the guys in the back. I never missed it enough to become the Brett Favre of the EMF though. I just couldn't bring myself to come back out of retirement again. I had made one hell of a living in this business, and I was sitting at hope reaping all of the best benefits of it in retirement. Then, I got a rather strange phone call a couple of months back. And to be honest with you all, I was even more confused when I hung up the phone than I was when I answered it and heard who was on the other end. Against my better judgement, I listened to what he had to say, and for some reason I found myself agreeing to what was being proposed to me. At first, I didn't understand what was going on. I didn't understand why I was getting the phone call. I really didn't grasp why Paul Heyman was so worked up and so paranoid that something was going to happen to him."

Jarred:"So, I started to pay a little closer attention to Shockwave every week. I watched all the pay per views a little more closely. I was trying to pick up on something. Anything that might tell me why he called me in a frantic fit that night. And then I woke up to the internet reports that Heyman was missing. Apparently he climbed into the back seat of his limo after screwing over The Rock, and was never heard from again. Now it seems like every ECW Original and their mother is out to try and exact a little revenge on The Rock."

*Jarred suddenly lowers the mic, looks down at his feet and starts to shake his head. With one hand in his jeans pocket, he raises his head, grinning, still shaking it slightly as he brings the mic back up.*

Jarred:"You know, I got so caught up in the moment of being back in this ring, that I completely forgot to tell you what brought me out here in the first place. It all goes back to that phone call I got from Paul Heyman. Well, I won't bore you with any of the frantic details he gave me. It all boils down to this. We've all been hearing rumors about this new CEO that was going to show up tonight. And, well I'm here because I want to confront the new CEO. I want to know what he's going to do about the disappearance of Paul Heyman. I want to know when The Rock is going to be made to give some answers about what happened, and when justice is going to be served. And, like all of you, I want to know when all of these "Changes" that he promised are going to occur. So, I'm standing here in the middle of this ring, and I'm calling out the new CEO of the Extreme Measures Federation."

*"This Is Extreme" begins to play and once again Joey Styles steps out onto the stage. He looks around for a moment, a serious look on his face as he raises his microphone to address Jarred's request."

Jarred:"I ask for the CEO and I get his "Executive Assistant" Joey Styles instead. What, is there a cat fight somewhere out here that I don't know about Joey?"

Joey Styles:"No, I'm actually out here at the request of the new CEO. He told me to tell you that he's on his way right now. He wanted me to precede him so that I could give him the proper introduction that he deserves. So, if you don't mind, that's what I would like to do."

Jarred:"Okay, I really don't care. I just want to hear what the guy has to say for himself."

Joey Styles:"Ladies and Gentlemen, if I could have your attention for a moment. I'd like to introduce you all to the brand new Chief Executive Officer of the Extreme Measures Federation.............Jarred Carthallion!!"

*The crowd erupts again with a chorus of cheers as Jarred pretends to be surprised by the announcement. Finally laughing about it, he raises his hand again and begins to once again address the crowd.*

Jarred:"That's right, I am the new CEO of the EMF. Though, I have to admit, I may be changing the title of the position to CLO. Chief Legendary Officer. I don't know, I'll think about it. So, would you all like to know what I have in store for the EMF? Would you all like to know what I'm going to do about the disappearance of Paul Heyman? What about all the promises I've made about the changes that are going to occur around here? Okay, well here it goes. Rock, I'm going to address you first. You are probably wondering what Shane Douglas was doing here tonight. Well, I can honestly say that I didn't bring him here. I had no idea that he was going to be here tonight, more or less that he was going to attack you. Joey, did you know anything?"

*Joey Styles simply looks at Jarred with a semi blank expression, trying to hide his enjoyment of what happened earlier in the night.*

Jarred:"Okay, I'll take that as a no. I am however going to get to the bottom of it all. I'm going to find Shane Douglas, and I'm going to get some answers out of him. Just like I'm going to do with you Rock. You see, you've been awful quiet about what happened the night Paul Heyman disappeared. The whole world knows that the two of you had been having some major problems, and the only way those problems were going to go away was if Heyman went away. Well, unfortunately for you, the problems only got worse. I'm going to find out what you know, and I'm going to do it one of two ways. Either you are going to be man enough to walk into my office and tell me what you know, or I can drag your sorry ass down here to the ring, and I can give you a good old fashioned ass kicking and get the answers out of you. Either way is fine with me. I'm going to leave the ball in your court for now. Now, moving on to other business. I couldn't help but feel a little sick to my stomach when I sat in my office earlier and listened to everything that Dan Godwin had to say. As a matter of fact, I actually thew up a little in my mouth when he brought Maven out here and claimed he found a "Worthy" challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship. Now, I am in full agreement that the EMF lacks a true number one contender. There doesn't seem to be anybody who is focused enough to actually step up and face Godwin for the World Title. So, I'm going to do everybody a favor. Next week's Shockwave is going to consist of one match, and one match only. That match will be an over the top rope, Royal Rumble to determine the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. So, at the end of Shockwave, everybody wins. The EMF finally gets a clear cut top contender, and Dan Godwin finally realizes that he's not a fighting champion because he'll actually have to fight to defend his title in the future. Yes, that's right, I said you're not a fighting champion. Before you get your little Union Jack panties all in a wad, let me explain myself. A true fighting champion would not have settled for the night off. Not tonight. Not at Return Of An Era. No, a true fighting champion would have made sure he was booked, in the main event, against anybody from the active roster who could actually give him a good match for the title. And trust me, there guys on the roster who could give you a good match. And they are all going to be in the match next week at Shockwave. I'm going to be brutally honest with you Danny Boy, I don't like you. And I'm going to make life as difficult for you as I possibly can. Because in my opinion you are nothing more than a transitional champion. You are the guy who becomes champion when there is nobody left to hold the title. The guy who gets lost in the history books because he's stuck between the guy who shocked everybody by winning the title, and the guy who won the title and lead the company into a brand new era. And you just aren't the guy to lead the EMF into a brand new era. You never were. So, one of two things is going to happen, you are either going to lose the title to somebody who truly deserves to hold it, or you are going to finally turn into a true champion, and become the leader that the EMF has been lacking for the past couple of years. It's your decision. Now, if you folks will excuse me, I'm going to head back to my office, kick my feet up, and I'm going to watch the main event and see what happens when two Hall Of Famers get in the ring with one of the most exciting tag teams I've ever seen, oh and Bad Company as well. Enjoy the main event, and I'll see you all at Shockwave next week."

*Jarred climbs out of the ring to massive ovation and a chorus of cheers. As his feet hit the floor, the show cuts to a quick commercial hyping the release of "The EMF's Greatest Matches: 2010" on DVD and Blue Ray*

(“M and M” blats on the PA system as John Morrison and Joey Mercury walk to the ring doing a slow mo version of their old MNM entrance.)

Kris Gaffney-Those camera’s aren’t very fast.

King-Just wait until you see the development time!

JR-Well these two have more time as a team as anyone.

(“Death of Me” blasts on the PA system as the tag team champions Scott Tazte and Tony Ikeda walk to the ring, and step inside of the ring.)

JR-These two are very proud of their tag team dominance.

King-Which can be said about many teams, but it’s clear they haven’t shyed away from competition.

(“Bad Company” blasts on the PA system as Big Sal and Dewey Pond walk to the ring.)

JR-These two have been together as a team for a while now.

King-But they seem to be having issues.

Kris Gaffney-Well, guess it’s a matter of they just need to agree that they want to win.

[Badditude, Bad Company, and M and M are looking up. Suddenly out of no where Tony and Morrison attack each other, both land fists on each other, and John Morrison looks more angry, John Morrison charges at Tony Ikeda, and Tony Ikeda counters this with a back body drop that sends John Morrison flying out of the ring, and crashing on the mat, and this makes the rest of the teams start to pair off as Dewey Pond has rolled out to go after John Morrison. Big Sal, and Scott Tazte battle away as Mercury not happy that his partner got fooled tries to attacks Tony Ikeda who at some point counters with a low blow. Joey Mercury is in a lot of pain, Tony Ikeda grabs Joey Mercury, and throws him hard into the ring post. Joey Mercury cracks his shoulder, and seemly Tony Ikeda takes Joey Mercury out of the corner, and Scott Tazte who had gotten away from Big Sal for enough time goes over to where Joey Mercury is, and they whip Joey Mercury to the ropes, and Mercury bounces off of the ropes, and Badditude double back body drop over the top rope Joey Mercury who goes flying right into the crowd of John Morrison, Dewey Pond. Scott Tazte rolls out of the ring, and goes into the isle way, and grabs a ladder as in the ring Tony Ikeda senses someone behind him, and he turns around right into a big boot that floors him by Big Sal. Outside Scott Tazte has ladder folded up, and he has it set up to take out both Dewey Pond and John Morrison who are stumbling up to their feet, out of a sense of saving themselves Dewey Pond, and John Morrison hit a double drop kick that knock down Scott Tazte with the ladder on top of him.]

JR-Those are two unlikely partners.

King-Well I guess when you see a ladder coming towards you…all bets, and grudges are off.

Kris Gaffney-I’ll keep that in mind next time I walk into a ladder store, and one of the ladders attacks me…

[Dewey Pond and John Morrison look at each other, and hit a double senton on the ladder crushing Scott Tazte who is under it. John Morrison and Dewey Pond backs are in pain from this move, but they are slow to get up, and seemly they are happy that they worked together, but John Morrison being the heelish heel tries to kick Dewey Pond. But Dewey Pond having seen this all before catches the kick, and throws down John Morrison’s leg, and John Morrison hits a pele kick on the back of the head of Dewey Pond which takes him down on the mat. John Morrison takes the ladder, and throws it back into the ring, and rolls into the ring, and John Morrison rolls into the ring, and he slowly starts to climb up. But before he can get far Big Sal comes from behind, and puts John Morrison into a belly to back suplex, but Joey Mercury who had time to recover comes from behind, and hits a low blow, Morrison is still in the belly to back position, so he turns around in Sal’s grip, and comes down on Big Sal with a cross body block that crashes down on Big Sal. Joey Mercury starts to think about going for the contract as it seems like Morrison is still feeling the effects of the fall.]

JR-Mercury might have a chance to win this match.

King-So why don’t they call up Melina?

Kris Gaffney-Because they would be Triple M, and they’d have so many interference jokes, it wouldn’t be funny.

[Joey Mercury starts to climb up the ladder, but suddenly for some reason a ladder goes into the ring, and it jams in the rungs. Dewey Pond gets up on the apron, and leaps off of the top rope, and leaps off of the top rope, and lands on the ladder just as Joey Mercury is on the top of the ladder, Dewey Pond runs the ladder, leaps and catches Joey Mercury with a cross body block that sends both wrestlers crashing down on the mat below as that gets a good response by the crowd for that move. John Morrison seeing that he has a chance to use the fact that most of the wrestlers are either down, or are fighting each other randomly around ring side. John Morrison does what Dewey Pond earlier, and spring boards to the top rope, and jumps on the ladder, but suddenly he’s turned around, and goes face to face with Big Sal who grabs him around the neck, and Big Sal climbs up on the ladder, sets up, and hits a choke slam on John Morrison. But before Big Sal can go for the contract, Scott Tazte comes into the ring, and hits a quick drop kick that knocks Big Sal off of the ladder. Dewey Pond who had recovered from the fall he took pulls out Scott Tazte. This allows Big Sal to get up to his feet, Tony Ikeda who slides into the ring see’s Big Sal trying to get up charges at him, but Big Sal back body drops Tony Ikeda, and Tony Ikeda actually breaks through the ladder on impact!]

JR-Bah gawd, he might be broken in half.

King-…I think the ladder is.

Kris Gaffney-Just let JR have his moment…

[Big Sal takes a few moments to rest up, and once he gets up to his feet he starts to climb up on the ladder, but Joey Mercury climbs up to the top of the ladder, and Big Sal and Joey Mercury throw fists to the face, and Big Sal is able to stun Joey Mercury enough to reach up for the contract, but Joey Mercury puts on brass knuckles, and hits Big Sal with it. Big Sal being as big slumps down, but isn’t out. Joey Mercury goes for the contract. On the bottom Dewey Pond, and John Morrison are throwing fists, Dewey Pond finally rakes the eyes of John Morrison, and hits a fist. Dewey Pond looks up as before Joey Mercury gets the contract. Big Sal grabs the throat of Mercury. But from behind, Morrison being blinded hits a wild drop sault that connects with the back of Dewey Pond which makes Pond fall into the ladder, and tips it over sending both Big Sal and Joey Mercury off of the ladder.]

JR-Morrison sacrificed his own tag team partner there.

King-Well Mercury’s taking one for the team.

[John Morrison takes a few moments, and sets up the ladder, and starts to climb up to the brief case, but suddenly Scott Tazte starts to climb the other side of the ladder, and the two meet on the top of the ladder. The two start to throw fists, it seems like John Morrison is winning out, but suddenly Tony Ikeda grabs John Morrison, and traps him through the rungs of the ladder. Morrison yells for Mercury who rolls into the ring trying to do something, but not before Scott Tazte is able to shake off the stun, and grab the brief case which gives Badditude the match.]

JR-Badditude did it, they have avoided a contender…for now.

Kris Gaffney-Now they just play the waiting game…

(Scott Tazte and Tony Ikeda celebrate on top of the ladder as Return of an Era goes off the air.)
